• Niall (10/5): An Excellent Stay - An excellent stay at an excellent hotel, a 10-15 minute metro journey away from any site you would want to see in Rome, and even closer to the Vatican. Francesco is a wonderful host and took care of any needs / requests. He has great patience with any language barrier and provides a range of excellent and simple breakfast options each morning. The room and bathroom had the upmost hygiene and cleanliness and could not be faulted. All appliances such as the airconditioning and hair dryer worked perfectly with no issues, and I could not fault really anything about this stay - highly recommended!

• Sandra (10/5): Wunderschöne und ruhige Unterkunft - schöne kleine und schnuckelige Unterkunft, abseits er Touristenströme. Sie liegt direkt am Vatikan und auch zum öffentlichen Nahverkehr sehr gut zu erreichen. Rezeption ist sehr nett, hilfbereit und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem eine schöne Unterkunft, die ich jederzeit wieder besuchen würde.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - Terrible location. Had to walk up or down 1.5 blocks of steps to reach it. Very difficult with luggage. There was no sound proofing; therefore, it was very noisy. Dogs barking as well as noise from other guests were always present. The mattress had springs which jabbed into you, making sleeping difficult. Overall, this property was not a hotel. It was a guesthouse.
• FT (4/5): - Poor directions to the location ! As the property is located up a steep staircase this is a big problem. When checking out we used the property’s cab service as we were told they would help us with the luggage; the morning of departure we were given our receipt and a notice that “begged” us to meet the cab on the street. No help with baggage, There are easily 100 steps. A cab charges 45 euro for a ride; the hotel charged 60. Would appreciate transparency in the pricing; here is what a cab charges, this is what we charge, then honor your advertised services. There is no full time service desk, no frig, microwave, ice and a charge for breakfast.

Lots of stairs to get to the property, so people that have any difficulties physically should not book this Absolutely no tolerance for late check in. Air conditioner did not work. It is relatively close to the Vatican and the metro Within waking distance

• four_days (4/5): - Extra cost of EUR 90, as our plane landed 18:15, and the reception closed 18:30. Hotel is very hard to find, no signs anywhere. Lots of stairs, not suitable for elderly or disabled persons. Central location, nice staff.
• Bilal (10/5): Great B&B near Vatican - It’s a very nice B&B near Vatican. Before I booked it I was worried about the stairs and car parking; but it was easy to reach, just few stairs, and there was a street car parking space, €4 per day. The villa has a very nice garden, the stuff was so kind and helpful. The walls between rooms were actually thin but it was still very quiet during our stay. It’s in a very good location to visit most of the touristic attractions. I would certainly stay there again.
• Amanda (6/5): Sådär - Ett helt okej hotell, är mer som ett b&b utan frukost. Receptionen är sällan bemannad, kommer du för incheckning efter 18.30 får du betala extra om ens möjligt. Mycket trappor att bära ditt bagage upp för, läget är inte super. Gatan utanför är rätt trist, går du upp för trapporna hamnar du utanför muren till Vatikanen och kan följa den för att komma in till stan. Men planerar du att gå överallt så är det rätt långt räknat på några dagar. Tar 45 min att ta sig in till centrum, finns självklart Metro relativt nära men ”when in rome” vill man ju se så mycket som möjligt till fots. Rummet var ok, väldigt litet. Väggarna var tunna och kändes inte så välbyggda då de konverterat en liten övervåning till flertalet rum. Finns en bubbelpool i trädgården, men den får du endast andvända några timmar under dagen, ej efter 18.30. Annars är trädgården mysig, samt receptions området, men vi spenderade ingen tid där så det spelade inte in så mycket på vår upplevelse. Det var mitt fjärde besök i rom och nästa gång bokar jag något b&b eller hotel närmare stan igen.
• Owen (8/5): The Long Weekend - The only critizism we have is there should be a mini fridge in the bedroom & a water filling station to fill water bottles, the walk to the hotel is very step so the least that can be done is to have a standpipe close at hand to have a drink of wather.

We appreciate her kindness! But we shouldn't book this hotel at all. I mean there was no warning that one has to climb a pretty high mountain to get to the hotel. Besides, our room was on the upper floor and the hotel has no elevator. Instead it has a very steep staircase inside and very high and steep steps outside to reach rooms on the 2nd floor. And there was no luggage room on the 1st floor where we could leave our suitcases. Both my husband and I are over 75, so we would never book such a hotel.
• Audrey (8/5): Un séjour à deux à Rome - Un séjour de 3 nuits très agréable, hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Rome si on a pas peur de marcher un peu sinon il y a une station de métro à 2min à pied très très pratique. Seul inconvénient, les marchés que l'on ne peut éviter avec la valise. Personnel très sympathique et de bon conseil. Chambre fonctionnelle avec une belle baignoire à patte de lion.
• Kim (6/5): Very noisey room and exploitative transfer costs!! - The Hotel needs sound proofing, you can hear the complete conversations of the people next door..and it is not that the other residents are noisey, rather there is only a very thin partition between rooms which means you are disturbed throughout the night with people moving around, flushing the toilet, having a shower or entering and leaving their room - it is brutal!! It is really a shame as the villa itself, the gardens and the room was lovely but it was totally spoiled by the noise factor as you simply cannot get a night of undisturbed sleep. Ironically the room had a wall mounted tv which you simply could not use due to the disturbance you would be causing to the other guests. Additionally BEWARE if you are unable to check in during appointed hours. If you are unable to do this depending upon your arrival time you have no option other than to use the villa’s pick up from the airport and you will be landed with a very hefty bill for €79 + nearly 30% tax so instead of an airport transfer cost of approximately €25 you will be landed with a bill in excess of €100 which is utterly outrageous and complete exploitation of your circumstances. The alternative advised is to book somewhere else for your first night and check in the following day...customer service?? Not in my book

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Wunderschönes kleines Hotel ( nur 5 Gästezimmer ) in der Nähe des Vatikans. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Gratis WLAN, Fernseher (allerdings nur italienische Programme), kleiner Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Fön, Nespresso Kaffeemaschine vorhanden. Frühstücksbuffet war gut, aber nichts "besonderes" (z.B. abgepackter Scheiblettenkäse und Toastbrot). Rezeption ist am Wochenende und an Feiertagen nicht besetzt. Tolle Kommunikation durch das Team, und dadurch war dann auch am Tag unserer Ankunft (Samstag) jemand da, der uns ganz herzlich begrüßt hat und uns alles erklärt und gezeigt hat. Die Lage ist super. Um die Ecke ist ein sehr gutes Restaurant, Il Fornace, und ein paar Schritte weiter ein Supermarkt (Conad) mit freundlichem Personal und großzügigen Öffnungszeiten. Unser Aufenthalt im Relais Clivo Vaticano hätte nicht besser sein können. Sehr zu empfehlen!

• Jim (10/5): - A small and quiet B&B within close distance to the walls of the Vatican. Everyone was friendly and we were made to feel very welcome, our room was the perfect size, a very comfortable bed, good air conditioning and a very nice bathroom. We also found the Relais to be very quiet. It's a little way from the centre of Rome, but is only 10 minutes or so walk from the nearest Metro station which takes you quickly into Rome.

• Raili (2/5): - Hotellin palveluajat ovat käsittämättömät: Kiinni,kun tarvitset palveluja. Erehdyin varaamaan hotellin ja sain sitten tiedon:ei perustusta,. Hotelliin ei voi kirjautua kuin seuraavana aamuna! Lentoni oli 18:45. Vastaanotto sulkeutui 18:30. Kerrottiin, että minun pitää perua kuljetukseni ja pääsen sisään vain ottamalla hotellin kuljetus,joka oli 2 kertainen. Sama paluulla. Kuljettajaa lentokentällä ei näkynyt (piileski ilmeisesti jossain takana), Kiersin 4:ään kertaan rivistön. Lopuksi sain puhelimella yhteyden. Piti käyttää 3-laisia avaimia, Jouduin 1;nä iltana klo 8 kadulla seisomaan sateessa ja pimeässä pitkään, koska ulko-oven avain ei sopinut lukkoon. Aloin jo miettiä, mistä saisin yösijan. Lopulta syrjäkadulle tuli nuori mies, joka ystävällisesti soitti 3:een numeroon. Ei ole "bsness hours". Lopulta joku vastasi ja kertoi toisen lukon ovessa sijaitsevan oven alaosassa ja siihen avain sitten sopi. Vastaan oton naiset olivat ystävällisiä. Jouduin kuitenkin aamulla odottamaan klo 10:een, koska toimisto aukesi vasta silloin (menetettyä turismiaikaa). Hotelli sijaitsi alueella, jossa ei ollut lähellä metroa. Kongressipaikkaan jouduin ottamaan päivittäin taksin. Huonokuntoiselle lukuisat raput hotelliin eivät sovi+ syrjäkujat Huone oli siisti, mutta alkeelliset hotellivälineet kylpyhuoneesta puuttuivat; suihkulakki, hammastahna j.n.e. Jääkaappia ei ollut ja vesi (2e) oli lämmintä.
• liz (8/5): Hotel ok but difficult to reach with steep stairs - Rome is beautiful and metro easy to use. The italian people were very friendly. The weather reached 32 degrees which surprised us for september.

• Charlotte (10/5): Fantastic hotel! - The hotel was beautiful, it had a very relaxing vibe, which was nice to come back to after a busy day in Rome. The room interior was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the AC seemed new and worked very well. There wasn’t a shower in the room, only a roll top bath and a shower head, but we weren’t able to stand up and shower. The hotel is a short walk to the Vatican City and metro, which can take you to the centre of Rome. We also walked from the centre to the hotel one day, which took about 50 minutes. Breakfast in the morning was a continental breakfast, the housekeeper made a great cappuccino! I’m gluten intolerant and it would have been good if there were more options for those who are gluten free. Overall, this hotel was amazing and would definitely return if we came to Rome again. We highly recommend this place, it is gorgeous!

• Monika (10/5): - The location is absolutely great provided you are perfectly fit with no walking difficulties (my mum suffering from arthritis would not be able to climb the stairs, but I quite enjoyed it.) It's close to all attractions and the underground line. It is a very small and quiet place, The service is very good (one lady called Veronica who makes cappuccino and is very diligent about her job). The buffet breakfast was a nice surprise because of the choice of food and drinks. The only complaint is the hot tub, which could do with some cleaning and chlorine but it wasn't a massive disappointment. All in all I wholeheartedly recommend staying there.

• Sarah (10/5): Great Retreat for a city sightseeing trip - We stayed there during our 6 day Rom sightseeing trip. We got a great offer with flight included and our expectations were more than fulfilled. Tricky to find (in the middle of the stairway) we found this beautiful little place and although it was rom unexpectedly it was like a retreat with a very green garden and every morning when we watched at it from the breakfast room it really felt like holiday :-) The breakfast was small but nice (3 tipes of cereals, croissant, toast, ham, eggs, cheese, marmelade, apples + bananas, and the coconut cake was awesome!!) New towels every day!! Great!! Bathtub, no shower and not able to stand in it, but still ok as it was a new one with features and big enough ;-) We also tried the Jacuzzi which was nice but still too cold ;-) Many thanks to lovely Giuliana who made a great introduction at arrival, made possible to stay an extra night and also helped with everything else. Best staff ever!

Vicinissima dall uscita metro di Cipro immersa in un giardinetto curato nei minimi dettagli con camere arredate in maniera divina. • Patrick (8/5): Liebevoll eingerichtetes kleines Hotel - Das Hotel ist nur über eine steile Treppe zu erreichen. Es liegt direkt unterhalb der Vatikanmauer. Sobald man durch das Gartentor kommt, fühlt man sich wie in einer Oase. Ein kleiner, sehr gepflegter Garten mit mit vielen Pflanzen. Das Haus ist ebenfalls gepflegt und hat einen modernen Anbau überwiegend aus Glas in welchem sich unter anderem der Frühstücksraum befindet. Unser Zimmer war auch sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Bad mit Regendusche ist über 2 Stufen zu erreichen. Im Zimmer ist ein riesiger Fernseher, leider ohne deutsche oder englische Sender. Die Minibar hat den ersten Tag nicht funktioniert, wurde aber schnell repariert. Vor dem Zimmer gibt es eine Terasse mit direktem Zugang zum Garten und dem kleinen Whirlpool.

• Mernss (2/5): - The girl at the reception was rude few times, the room was so small and don’t look like the pictures but was cute. There’s totally no space in the room to move with our luggage the ac was full of dust and the stairs to go up in the room floor was so small and uncomfortable. We leave the hotel at 4am and the hotel was dark, all the light was turn off and there’s no switch tu turn the light and leave the hotel with dark and that stairs was hard and dangerous. The breakfast was good but pretty poor

• Nathan (10/5): Nice room close to the Vatican - This hotel is very nice it is small kinda like a B&B but still great. Good breakfast and the staff is very helpful. They have a hot tub too but we didn’t use it cause it was to cold when we were in Rome.
• Christopher (10/5): Surprise stay in Relais Clivo Vaticano - Relais Clivo Vaticano is a little b&b. My wife and I were happy staying there. We had a late check in around 8:30pm and welcomed by the staff Alexandria. She spent time to show how to go to different attractions. The cosy room was tidy and clean. The location is quite. It's about 10 minutes walk to Metro. We found it's convenient. In the morning we enjoyed the breakfast and cappuccino made by another staffs before our exploration in Rome. If we go to Rome in the future we will definitely stay in Relais Clivo Vaticano again.
• Vibeke (10/5): Wonderful stay in guesthouse (not hotel) - Great stay! But guests should be aware that there is no traditional reception with all the services that a reception offer. However the property was beautiful and the breakfast nice, so would highly recommend as long as guests are aware it is a guesthouse and not a hotel!
• dr (2/5): Never Got out of Receptionl Room - Quite terrible. Actually traumatic. The staff were uncaring and unwavering. This is a "special type of residence", and really shouldn't be listed with other hotels in Rome. It was totally inappropriate for a mother traveling alone, to visit her son, who is a study abroad student. I wanted to leave as soon as I arrived, and the staff wouldn't grant me a refund, for a totally inappropriate lodging for me and my circumstance. They have rules that no one, I mean not even my son, could enter the property, other than me. It's some kind of religious Vatican owned property, not a real hotel. He couldn't come into the gate to help with my luggage, nor come over and visit in my room. Had I stayed there, I would have to make a plan to meet him each time on the street, or at a restaurant closeby. And the place was off the beat and path, up 2 flights of dark steps, off from a dark street, not safe for a woman alone. The staff was rude, and kept me waiting in a room for 2 hours...and didn't even emerge from their office to tell me what was going on. After a frustrating wait, I was tired, cold, and it was raining. I finally said that I was leaving, after sitting alone for 2 hours, and getting nowhere with my refund exception, from them directly. I booked my own new accommodations while being kept waiting that entire time. I was shaken, angry, and was considering booking a flight back to the States. No one needs to be treated so disrespectfully and rudely on vacation.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Idealic hotel - Though there were few rooms in the hotel they were quite idealic. Very cute and charming. The location of the hotel was tricky but upon arrival we were poured a glass of water. The hotel itself is within walking distance to a select few locations but is also within walking distance to the metro which one can take to get to Ancient Rome. Overall a very pleasurable experience!

• Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing - Stayed here on our first trip to Rome, hotel was lovely, nice and intimate, has a real personal feel to it. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the lady who makes the coffee in the morning made the best Cappucino I have ever had! The room was immaculate, very clean and tidy. Shower and bathroom were spotless. Superb location for seeing the city, literally 5 mins from the Vatican museum, and only 10/15 minute walk from the train to get to the Colesseum. Will definitely be staying there again.
• Dale (10/5): Lovely relaxing Oasis in Rome centre - Hotel is a little gem, staff extremely helpful with excellent English language skills. Peacefull location yet within easy walking distance to tourist attractions and Metro station. Good sized room with great bathroom. Very clean, comfortable (room serviced daily) and quiet, breakfast was simple continental fare and of good quality. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay for 6 nights. Highly recommend. Probably not suitable for persons with disability due to steps.
• marion&bob (10/5): Boutique hotel close to Vatican wall - Very modern Italian decor in old manor house set in its own peaceful gardens. very quiet away from traffic noise.Approach to hotel is flight of tiring steps also up to entrance.very secure and safe.Unfortunately only Vatican fairly nearby.Taxi is best option or Metro to other attractions.Traffic is manic do not drive yourself.
• Ed (10/5): VIP experience - As a seasoned traveler I am always wary of the "too good to be true" hotel. this hotel is the real deal ! I felt like a VIP from the moment we came through the gate ! Luxury and attention to detail is the main concept at Realis clivo vaticano! The breakfast is a continuation of a dream and a beautiful start to the day! The bed is firm and luxurious. The tub !!!! Ah the tub ...the ultimate soak after a long day of walking romes streets . The staff is caring and constantly smiling . Knowledgeable and capable in the most friendly way !! And they made our stay a roman dream!!! GRATZI MIL!!!! . I will only stay here in Rome
• Verified traveler (8/5): Quiet relaxing refuge - Fantastic aircon which was much appreciated in temperatures mid 30s and higher, steps to the place weren't a problem if you're reasonably able bodied, gardens pretty, be careful coming down the spiral staircase inside the accommodation as they are rather narrow a good place to stay for 2-3 nights. Reception staff helpful and pointed us to a nearby trattoria for late food as we arrived at 10.30pm. Late check in required us to use the hotel taxi at extra cost of 79 euros each way we hadn't realised on booking but it is mentioned on the web site having said that we used again to return to the airport as it was comfortable stress free and easy.

• Riaan (10/5): Perfect location and great for relaxation! - Received a friendly and warm welcome from the staff. Went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay and was more than willing to assist us with any enquiries we had. Room was spacious and clean. Has a lovely garden, which is well maintained, where you can relax and a Jacuzzi if needed. Breakfast was a lovely light meal. Also situated close to Vatican and various other landmarks. Highly recommend this if you want to move away from the traditional hotel set-up, but also if you do not want a bed-and-breakfast. On departure we received a thank you letter from the manager, which was a lovely personal touch. Will definitely stay there again.
• Chris (6/5): Good Value - This stay is great value for money, places tend to be expensive in Rome. It is located close to the vatican and you can walk to a lot of tourist locations. There is not much in the area in terms of dining / socializing. The steps on entrance are a nightmare, we were travelling heavy and had to carry luggage up a huge flight of stairs, the entrance is up an alley so the taxi can only take you so far. Also on weekends the staff are not there which I found strange. On a plus note the breakfast was very good, the best we had provided while travelling.
• Monica (6/5): Good priced hotel - The hotel price was great. The location was a bit far from both Vatican City and even further from Rome, but we managed by walking or using public transport. The air condition in the room did not work at all and it was very hot at night. The room was good size. It wasn't the cleanest, there was an empty water bottle under the bed from the previous tenants and we stayed for 2 nights and the water bottle never was removed even after housekeeping came on the 2nd day. The price was great and the room size was good. The walls were very thing so we could hear the neighbors next door.
• Marlene (8/5): Safe and quiet - The climb to the house is hard with our heavy luggages And the spiral staircase to our room hard too. But the overall house is nice, staff is really helpful especially allesandra and Veronica whom we saw most of our 12 days stay. Veronica makes espresso all the time if you want. The rooms are refreshed every day. Breakfast room is also the lounge area for meeting with others. The lemon water waiting in the lounge after a bit long walk around is refreshing . lemon is from their tree ( staff said it)

• William (10/5): tranquill City Haven - My partner and l stayed at the Relais Clivo for 3 nights last week June 2016. We were very pleased with the correspondence prior to our visit regarding our late night arrival and that the hotel staff stayed to welcome us. The hotel is small but perfectly formed. Our room near reception was gorgeous with beautiful classy fittings and bathroom to die for plus a huge sumptuous bed. Outside a tranquil garden with hot tub which was lovely and unexpected in a city centre setting. Breakfast was adequate and served in a lovely sunny conservatory by a very friendly lady. It was our first visit to Rome and we were giving great advice on getting out and about. Only slight downside and unavoidable for hotel was partying neighbour one night and a barking dog plus you definitely need a certain level of fitness for the steps. Overall we can fully recommend the hotel and would to anyone. Lesley and Billy

• Jancee (8/5): Lovely place to stay - Lovely little place to stay, nice clean room which had air conditioning and was refreshed every day. The staff left notes regarding information needed to make our stay pleasant and gave us a map which helped loads. They were very helpful on providing information we needed about the area, Breakfast was lovely even though we had it only once as we had two early morning starts before 8am and breakfast is served between 8-10am. Steps to the hotel are a little daunting but once there it is worth it.
• kate (8/5): Lots of steps! - The rooms were very nice but be prepared to take lots of steps to get to it. They should provide instructions on the location from the taxi drop off point at the bank. We had to walk through an alley and the facility was not well marked. The entrance buzzer was not reliable and we had to wait for someone to let us in for about 5 minutes. The staff was very nice and the room very well decorated.
• Maria (10/5): Gorgeous B&B - We were upgraded to a suite and it was completely beautiful. The room was so spacious and we had a cute balcony and big bathroom with a tub. The decor is really simple and clean. The B&B building itself is enclosed with a grassy lawn, bench, and windchimes. Breakfast room also fantastic with glass walls to look out over the garden. Only a few blocks from the metro station and 10 minutes walk from Vatican Museums.
• RegVaticanVisit (8/5): Nice but not as close to Vatican as it sounds - This is a converted house with a pleasant garden - 5-6 rooms. Modern renovation and bed was comfortable if a touch firm. The dining area is surrounded by glass and is a good place to work quietly during the day. Breakfast is good Italian standard. The room was larger (with a proper bathroom!) than one normally gets in Rome for this price. Staff are helpful - but are not onsite in the evenings. The hotel is one-third the way up a set of steep stairs that go up the Vatican hill. At the top of the hill one is confronted with the rear wall of Vatican city. Taxi access is not as difficult as the web site of the hotel makes out - but they do drop you normally at the top of the stairs. (There is road access to the bottom of the stairs). Either way, luggage has to be carried, normally by you. To get to the Vatican one can walk up the stairs and around the wall, via the Vatican railway entrance, or down the stairs and around via the Borgo. Either way it is a 20-30 minute walk (not 15 as the the staff will say). There are a few restaurants around, but the area is generally suburban. (at least full of apartments). If you are wanting to fully participate in the Vatican experience - or have business there - I think the hotels of Borgo Pio and surrounds are more conducive, even if the rooms will be smaller.
• Antonio (8/5): Review by seasoned traveler... - Well presented and welcoming. The property is very well kept, with a crisp modern feel. Not many rooms thus expect a quite relaxing stay with the added feel of privacy. The staff will truly go beyond the call of duty to ensure your stay is a pleasant one, providing local information, maps and even checking your flight status for you, although will respect your privacy and not pester you unnecessarily. In the evening the reception will close and guest left with unrestricted privacy to enjoy the facilities, soft toned lighting and soothing low music in the lounge overlooking (Glass walls) a dimmed well kept garden. I would recommend the villa to anyone looking for that hideaway from hectic schedules and close vicinity to the Vatican City. Local transport is excellent, 5 minutes walk to rail station and 7 minutes to Metro station which will take you straight to the heart of Rome to such attractions as the Colosseum, Forum etc.
• Dominik (10/5): Great hotel right next to the Vatican museum - The staff was extremely polite and had us check-in by sitting down and serving some drink rather than waiting in front of a reception desk, much more pleasant than in an ordinary hotel. The hotel feels more like a private house, making the experience very similar to airbnb. The internet was fast when it worked but both me and my girlfriend had a lot of dropped connections. There is a cheap supermarket and a very authentic restaurant right a very short walk from the hotel.

• Terry (8/5): Wonderful B & B - What a beautiful location this hotel was in and only a 20 min walk to the Vatican. The management was more than willing to accommodate any reasonable request. The room had just been completely redone and was very comfortable. A nice breakfast was included with your stay and beautiful linens adorned the bed. My only drawback was that the taxi could not bring you to the front door. I had injured my leg and had a difficult time walking. There were a large number of steps to climb to reach the gate and with heavy luggage it presented quite a dilemma. Once settled in, though, all was good. Would stay there again, barring no injuries.
• Lisa (10/5): Gorgeous little boutique hotel! - It's the little things that count, and this place had it down to a T. With a great location, well placed to walk to the Vatican area, or jump on the metro for further afield. A few decent restaurants just minutes away. The room was immaculate, very stylish, towels changed daily, hairdryer with diffuser and nozzle (!) maybe not a big deal to some but it's a rarity in even the nicer hotels! The continental Breakfast was also perfect to set you up for the day. Would highly recommend!
• Michelle (10/5): Best boutique B&B EVER - Perfectly situated away from the crowds, but close enough for an easy walk to many of the sights, especially the Vatican and a very quick walk to the metro. A lovely local trattoria is situated nearby as well as a green grocer and a store. Quiet, comfortable, with beautiful room finishes and fantastic staff, we'll definitely go back there when we next visit Rome! If you don't like walking or stairs, this is not the place for you. Not suitable for families with children, or older people who aren't fit and sprightly.

Lots of loving care and attention has been paid to the decor giving a 5 star feel without the price. Great welcome with a glass of lemonade made with trees on the property . The hotel is within an easy 5 mins walk of the subway and therefor within easy reach of all sights.

Hotel located in residential area(hear neighbors and barking dogs). Room was unshaded from orange street lights, dry/cold breakfast(anything else is available at additional cost), no ice available. Hotel was described as adjacent to Vatican. Adjacent to Vatican wall.. . . . ................... .Nearest entrance 1-2 walking miles (Vatican museum entrance lacks the accessibility of St. Peters).
