- maren (9/5): Gemütliche Unterkunft für entspannte Tage - Die Besitzerin, eine ältere Dame war super freundlich, ein und auschecken lief ohne Probleme, die Lage war sehr ruhig und alles zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen (zum einkaufen, zur Fähre oder Busterminal 10min zu Fuß). Zum Strand 2min. Die Ausstattung war ausreichend und auch sauber für 3 Personen. Es ist zu sagen dass Hunde erlaubt sind und dort auch ein Beagel wohnt, der ab und an mal bellt. Auf dem Balkon kann man gut sitzen, auch wenn sie alle direkt neben einander liegen. Die Betten waren bequem, die Dusche ließ sich gut einstellen und hatte auch genug Wasserdruck. Preis - Leistung im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften ist super!! Eigentlich nichts ;)

The room was clean & tidy, could use some updating, but was very cosy & had that homely feeling. The kitchen was great, had all you needed, the bathroom was nice & spacious. The aircon & fans were very welcoming. The beds were really comfortable. Quick 10 min stroll up to Paihia centre, location was perfect. Beach just up around the corner & across the road, loved our walks we went about 2 or 3 times a day. Parking a bit tight, but we ended up parking on the roadside just above & unit which we found was safe secure

Quiet , close to the beach could hear it but enough away from the main road not to hear all the partying and cars at night. easy walking distance to cafes, town, ferry, beach. Lovely vine covered balcony to enjoy the sunrise and breakfast in the morning sun. Lovely garden planting and planter pots. Making the place homely and inviting . Wendy and Peter were welcoming , friendly , responsive and communicative Plenty of off street parking The motel behind was noisy with guests but with all the doors and windows shut on that side ( which was just the kitchenette and bathroom it wasn't a problem .

Check the conditions before booking with Wotif. Rooms are priced for 2 people and $25 us charged for extra person which was not clear stated by Wotif while booking. otherwise wonderful experience of staying here.

- Rheese (9/5): Good Location and Pet Friendly - Great location. Our unit was quite spacious as well. Only about 2 mins walk from the beach and about 10 mins walk from the centre. Owners are very nice and friendly. They also welcome house trained pets which is a bonus so you can bring you fur babies with you. Nothing really. Units are a bit old but I'm sure the owners do their best to keep it well maintained.

- Rose (9/5): Lovely place to stay close to the beach and restaurants. - The room was lovely, spacious and light and felt very tropical sitting on the balcony being surrounded by foliage. Seems on the slightly more expensive side but I think that's the case across NZ, that accommodation is a bit overpriced in general. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and it was useful having the little kitchenette in the room. The TV didn't work properly, we were unable to change channels at all. Other than that everything was great.

It was well equipped with virtually everything we needed for our stay. The garden space was a bonus as was undercover parking. Spotlessly clean and rooms serviced daily. Had aircon Decor was a bit dated. A washing machine in the apartment would have been good.

Short walk into town was a surprise because it is literally just around the corner. The entrance to the property is a very steep hill and the parking is very tight, so if you can park and then walk everywhere, that’s a great option.

Wendy is a sweetheart. The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning quiet and needed. Sitting on the balcony in the early evening, catching the breeze was a lovely way to spend the early evening.

The host was a little aloof, not knowing much about our booking, needing to be shown our confirmation and payment emails, then complaining about having to retrieve the money

- Glenn (8/5): Very pleasant overall thank you - Location good, easy walk to the beach, great off road parking, friendly hosts. Noise of other residents early morning and late evening talking loudly, below us and next to us on verandah.
- Sean (10/5): Excellent motel with a lovely environment and friendly staff. - Comprehensive Kitchen with various appliances The shower is a bit old (at least in our room), however bathroom was clean.

- Jane (9/5): Everything we needed for a great stay in Paihia. - Very closer I the beach and town- quick and easy walking distance. Spacious garden to look out on. Friendly hosts. Being on the main road meant that we heard all the traffic, all day and night.

- Serina (7/5): Good - Good location, lovely host. Paihia beach lookout just a short walk across the road for a stunning sunrise Units old outdated little bit musty. Beds are very hard to sleep on. Parking is tight if you have a big vehicle.

- Pat (10/5): Excellent place to stay and although handy to the main beachfront it was quiet and relaxing. - We didn't have breakfast, but everything was working well and we enjoyed the space of the room, and cool balcony. Handy to walk around Paihia and to ferries, dining, etc.... No negatives .....Very happy with the Motel and the hosts ... helpful and friendly.

- Nanci (10/5): Exceptional - A cute motel, very close to the central area of Paihia. The owners were lovely and very accommodating. The room was comfortable, clean, and very well equipped. I would highly recommend this motel for anyone who wants great value when they are travelling to Paihia.
