Guest Reviews
- Guenter (5/5): -
- Ragnar (6/5): Nur für 1 Nacht - Für eine Nacht OK, Zimmer extrem klein
- Mazen (10/5): -
- Faramie (9/5): - I like the location. It has easy access to food.
I like the price of the room, too. The light switch wasn't working when I stayed there.
I tend to always get a room in the 5th floor even after requesting to get a room in the lower floors.
- Chareal (5/5): Passable -
- Terence (8/5): Nice and comfortable - No breakfast, location excellent
- gizelle (10/5): - Gustoko yung staff very acomodating but i dont like yung bed nila
- Teddyboy (7/5): Good -
- Kevin (1/5): Bad - Nothing No elevator, no hot water in shower after paying extra for hot water. No internet in room. I would never stay there again and feel that booking.com should not be connected with this kind of hotel.
- Violeta (2/5): - Worst vacation there was no water and aircon not functioning well
- Pony (3/5): Poor - Pros: The room was clean and tidy and the aurcon was fairly quiet and efficient.
Cons: No kettle and no hot water to make coffee. I had to fight the traffic to run across to macdonalds.
The light did not work in the bedroom.
No hot water in the bathroom.
Very bad reception on the TV.
One chair for two guests....
The room I was initially given was on the 5th floor, no elevator. When I pointed out I was 70 years old, the gave me an "upgrade" to the second floor, charging another 350 for the same type of room!
The room was small and pokey, with just enough room to move on one side of the bed with the other against the wall.
No soap provided, but on sale in reception at inflated prices.
I would recommend this hotel for a stay of one night only.
- Genesis (1/5): It was a bad experience - I don’t have anything to like Everything in the hotel
- Ms.rachel (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (2/5): I do not recommend this place. broken toilet never fixed dirty walls and floors. No Wi-Fi at all. - free waters each day. staff was nice. The toilet in my room never worked the whole time I was there. I had to leave several times to use the bathroom although I complain each right day. they never fixed it after telling me each day they would be there at 11 no one ever knocked on the door. I ended up leaving 4 days early. the room look like it had not been cleaned in weeks, when you put your hands on the wall, you could wipe the dust and dirt off. Even the floor made my clothes, dirty.also no wifi at all
- Sheldon (2/5): - Finding something to like is very difficult. No potable water. Toilet didn't flush. Cold shower (when the water was running). No wifi. Inexplicably noisy. Few but broken clothes hangers. The list goes on. But, staff were friendly.
- Sue (8/5): Very good - the staff is very friendly
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was Satisfactory and comfortable to stay in only there at night to sleep out rest of the time.
- d (8/5): - Clean hotel. Staff is very nice. Many places to eat and shop.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible - Do not book this hotel on your first trip to Cebu. It is away from tourist destinations.
It is a 1 star hotel not 3. Maybe, it was a 3 out of 5 rating on Expedia and I was just confused and assumed it was a 3 star hotel.
We got a room in the 5th floor. There is no elevator!!!!!!
Room is small and dirty.
We immediately looked for a better hotel. The hotel didn't allow us to request for refund or cancel our reservation for the succeeding nights. Expedia allows refund if hotel will agree but this hotel doesn't care about anything.
- Shaun (4/5): good location. not the cleanest - cheap hotel not the cleanest. room full of mosquitos and a few cockroaches. location was good for shopping and transport though
- Peter (10/5): The bungalows are not near the beach - The bungalows are not near the beach so if beach is imporant to you then ask for a beach room
- PHILLIP (8/5): GOOD FOR THE PRICE - AFFORDABLE. - IT WAS VERY AFFORDABLE - LOCATION GOOD. STAFF NICE.
- patrick (2/5): Our worst experience: an hotel to avoid - We have my wife and I just spent 3 nigths in this hotel we selected because we had some meeting in Talisay. We have experience of many hotels all over Philippines and GV hotel is our worst experience. The room was dirty, they made no cleaning for the 3 nigths we spend there. We asked the lady at the reception for a wake up call but she forgot. In addition the hotel management is not honest. They took advantage that we were in rush to catch a flight to claim 300 pesos because of some blue color traces on a towel while this is due to color substance on the floor of the room . Since we could not take risk to miss our flight we had to pay. We strongly recommend to avoid to stay in this GV hotel.
- owen (4/5): would not recommend - i wouldnt recommend this hotel. we arrived into masnila late at night, our paid for booking could not be found eventually they sorted things out but we were forced into paying extra money., .. the room had a double bed but the size of the room only shoul have single bed. no room to move. would not go back,,,
