The hotel is very basic, but was clean. We did not see an elevator so using stairs on the ends of the hallways was our only option.

When we questioned why it was suddenly shut down they said it was unsafe and then started raising their voices at us for questioning them. Blamed it being unsafe on the “ph” level. • Brad (1/5): Sucked - Location was nice. The extras paid for with booking.com were not honored and caused contention at check-in. They went so far as to request a refund from booking.com and stay somewhere else. The hotel needs to be updated. Rooms are run down and I was booked into a connecting room. The noise kept me up most of the night. The breakfast was worth taking the risk of illness. No place to sit at breakfast. Staff had all the seats. AmeriVU has a pattern of holding your deposit for several days after checkout.

I had to uprooted my room due to hotel wouldn't stand behind their policy of not leaving dogs unattended. Will never stay there again. Rules are to be followed. Cleaning personal also noted on this.

• Kate (8/5): - AmeriVu is a great little place to stay for an overnight! From the outside, it kind of looks like a rough place to stay, but it's really not bad at all. The staff was friendly and helpful, it was clean, and the price was perfect. It overlooks the UMC athletic fields, so it was fun to wake up and look out over the baseball team warming up. The beds aren't the comfiest - they're kinda bouncy so if you have a bed partner, you're going to feel their every move. I'll solve that by getting two queen beds when we stay there again. ;) Otherwise it was a good stay.

• Keziah (5/5): - We stayed here three times and every time were greeted with a heartwarming presence named Joey. We really appreciated how he always made us feel welcome and valued. The room was also quite clean and comfortable after being on the road so long. The breakfast tended to be the same and could be bland at times. The last time out of the three stays I had unfortunately found a carpet beetle under my clothes that happened to be on the floor. This was the only experience that tainted our stay.

Several breakfast options when we stayed: waffles, eggs, sausage, hash browns, biscuits & gravy, pastries, breads, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, juice. (Also offered Gluten-free bread and 2 cold cereals) If you’re looking, there are a few things that need some TLC, but none affecting security or health. For the price, an amazing stay! Would definitely stay again if we’re in the area.
