- Glenn (1/5): Avoid like the plague - Not a thing. The staff was rude and condescending. I made a simple mistake by handling my wife the signed credit card receipt. The guy about crapped his pants. I told him it was just a simple mistake. Even after he got the right receipt he keep telling me why he needed the signed one until I told him that I understand how it works and to drop it. The room was rundown and dirty. Dead bugs on the floor and one live wasp in one of the beds. Bedding had burn holes. The towels were stained, one looked like pee stains, another one had makeup stains. Everything had a thick layer of dust and grime. This room hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. If your smart you'll stay away like the plague. A dirty filthy place.

- SPapandrea (10/5): Adventures with my grandson - This place is a gem!! Right off 101 and couldn't hear, but a few vehicles passed by when we were inside!!! Super quiet, as in I never heard other guests next door either. Check-in was a "breeze", friendly and knowledgeable, and had suggestions since I had my 2yr old grandson with me, which were great Clean, comfy and everything we needed for our stay. We will be coming back on our next trip to the coast. Thank you, we were completely blessed I didn't dislike anything. I guess if I had to dislike anything...hmm, maybe a bigger coffee pot (I do love my coffee, lol)

- James (8/5): Nice little property for the price. Would stay again if budget was a concern. - Spacious room, and very good value for the price. Property is close to downtown Florence, but definitely not walking distance. The smoke shop across the highway may or may not be a benefit depending on your needs. The lady at the front desk on arrival advised me that booking.com doesn't always show the lowest price. Not their fault, and i was still able to get a room on very short notice for an affordable price, but I wound up in an ADA room which I would have avoided if I had known, and wound up paying a bit more than I had to. Again, this miscommunication is not on the motel staff, just be aware that if you book here, look on multiple sites. Also located just off 101 so not the quietest location, and not exactly walkable.

- Ronald (2/5): - DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL! We were unable to stay in the room assigned us on Sept 29, 2025 due to the same, VERY strong deodorizer smell as reported by other guests. See reviews dated Aug 23, 2025 and July 22, 2025. Those reviews stated "The room had very potent deodorizer smell and didn't lessen with (the) window open." "Reeked of room deodorizer". "'The bathroom has a musty urine smell." After opening the door and also experiencing this VERY strong deodorizer smell, we immediately returned the key to the office and to sum it up were told were told no refund. I could understand their policy if our cancellation caused them to loose the revenue from this room for the date of our reservation, but they did not. Please don't make the mistake we made and review the negative comments others have made about this property. I recommend you to stay at another property in Florence as we did if you don't want to stay at an old property with the problems that come with it as found by us and several other guests. Sorry to have to post this very negative review, but my intent is to prevent others from having to not be able to stay at this motel due to the very bad smells reported and not get a refund as we experienced.

Our vehicle broke down the next day and I called to see if we could rent the same room and the gentleman on the phone wasn't friendly at all. We went somewhere else. Which is too bad because the place is lovely.

The walls were paper thin, the brown towels were disconcerting (how can you tell if they're really clean?!), and the lack of communication is incredibly unprofessional. We were charged a pet fee (totally acceptable) but then upon departure we were charged $80 for sheet damage with no photographic evidence. No communication, and zero response.

The motel is small, but quiet, clean, with all the basic amenities and a comfortable bed. We look forward to staying again, when we are in that area. No issues.

- Cliff (8/5): Comfortable and clean - Older style one-floor motel right on HWY 101. The rooms have been updated and are very well kept. We had a pleasant 2-night stay. Our only negative comment is that we were in room #2, which has adjoining room doors. We could hear our neighbors too easily and clearly, even though they weren't being loud at all.

- Karen (10/5): Delightful! - What a delightful motel! The landscaping and exterior were trimmed and looked to be recently painted. Check in was smooth and friendly. The room was cozy, clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities as described online -- plus everything was spotless. The bed was great, the room had plenty of outlets, plenty of TV options and the wifi worked perfectly for all our devices. The rooms are set back from the highway so road noise isn't an issue. Plenty of lighting in the parking lot, which felt super safe. There is a small grocery store across the road, handy for restocking snacks. And just a few minutes from Florence for shopping, restaurants and beach access. We were here for just one night, but will return again. No suggestions for improvement.

The gal that met us was borderline rude, the room had an over bearing cleaning/chemical smell, the floors were dangerously slippery, the shower didn’t work, the toilet needs to be bolted to the floor and overall a run down room.
