Andrea (7/5): Good option in the Mount - Location was great - close to restaurants and beach; there was lots of room to spread out; there was a deck, but the view was of another building being constructed. The unit was clean and felt safe. The bed was uncomfortable and the unit is showing wear - the kitchen area counters were badly chipped.

Bradley (5/5): Overall, a good time at the Mount. - Very clean facilities, and good walking distance to the beach. I was going to bring this up with reception upon checkout but I was never asked about my stay. They just collected my key card and said thanks. I was disappointed that I was not informed by the staff prior to my arrival about the significant construction taking place at the apartment complex next door. The noise from the machinery began around 7:30am and was very disruptive. I couldn’t have my window or ranch slider open due to the noise. And my blinds were shut the whole time as the construction workers would have been able to look right in. As a shift worker, I had chosen this accommodation for rest and relaxation, which unfortunately was not possible under these circumstances. The ongoing noise made it difficult to remain in the apartment during the day. Just a courtesy email from the staff would have been nice.

It was next to a building site which started early and I had to have the blinds down as the builders could see straight in. I didn’t know there was building works when I booked. Check in was an odd, the receptionist called to us from another room, she eventually came out and greeted me. There were signs everywhere about being quiet, no guests, no vaping etc which made it feel as though it’s a party place. Many apartments seemed to be lived in and not holidays lets which changed the atmosphere of a place. I received a great email prior to arriving, advising of cafes, walks, spas etc so was expecting the atmosphere to be much better

bernadette (3/5): Not great! 😫 - Walk to beach Living with owners’ “stuff” , it was ridiculously stuffed with everything a beach house could have. No real bathroom, kitchen had a washing machine in it , tons and tons of household items in every corner, floor was dangerously uneven in most places and carpet was old and had holes, sofa was patched with duct tape, tv button was missing to start it, and batteries in remote were rusty so worked off and on. In all the years we’ve used Booking .com needless to say, I am very disappointed in this selection.

Andy Town (3/5): - Our room had no view and we were looking directly at a construction site just metres away. Consequently there was no privacy and construction guys looked directly into our room.
