• Jack (8/5): - It was a good hotel. Not great for a family of four, but we made it work. If you were traveling solo or with a smaller family, it would be much more comfortable.
• Boontarin (8/5): Very good - Everything is clean and tidy up to Japanese standard. There's Lawson on the ground floor below the hotel, so we can get everything easily. Think of normal Japanese chained hotel like APA, this one feels the same on the face of facilities and comfort, APA decorated nicer though. Hotel listed in Booking.com as they have "private parking" but no, they haven't. We have to go park in the public parking nearby.

We called front desk and they told us they will raise the temperature up for us but it never happened and we couldn't sleep because we were freezing for the both nights we stayed.

• PetsuraGao (10/5): My new go-to hotel - I recently stayed at Vessel Inn Yachiyo (Katsutadai Ekimae) for a total of 3 weeks and I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Keisei Katsutadai Station (south exit) and it's a quick train ride from Narita Airport and an easy train ride to Tokyo (Keisei line or Toyo line). There is a Lawson Convenience Store in the same building as the hotel, a 7-Eleven around the corner, a Livre Keisei Supermarket across the street and lots of decently priced places to eat within walking distance (Hidakaya, Torikizoku, Kushikatsu Tanaka, Chiyoda Sushi, Takakura Machi Coffee, etc). I reserved a deluxe double room for the first 2 weeks of my stay - I was concerned that the only available one was a smoking room. The room was located on the 7th floor and much to my surprise, I barely noticed any smell in the room (there was an air filter available, but I didn't need to use it). The room was much bigger than I had expected for a modestly priced Japanese hotel, it was very clean and had the usual amenities (PJs, slippers, shampoo/conditioner, body wash). I really liked the fact that you could ask for housekeeping service when you wanted it (the default was once per week) or you could leave your trash can and used towels outside of your door each morning and come back to an emptied trash can, fresh towels and a bottle of water. I ended up having to extend my stay and had to switch to the only room they had available for my final week - a single room which was also a smoking room. This room was on the 5th floor, which also housed the smoking area of the hotel. Unfortunately, the entire floor was filled with smoke. The hallway and the room were unbearably smokey and I had to have the air filter on full blast to tolerate the smoke. The room was clean, the bed was a little smaller, but not by much, the room was definitely smaller than the deluxe room, but still big enough to open my large suitcase. The staff here is a mix of Japanese and non-Japanese and while I only spoke to them in Japanese, I heard some of them speaking to other guests in decent English. Each staff member I interacted with was incredibly polite, helpful and knowledgeable. I especially appreciated the hotel staff who were there early in the morning to set up breakfast (5:30am to 9:30am). They were incredibly polite and attentive, constantly refreshing the buffet, cleaning tables and greeting guests. The breakfast buffet appeared very modest at first glance, but they had quite a variety of foods - rice, miso soup, curry sauce, grilled fish, sausages, cooked eggs, sashimi, raw eggs for rice, various Japanese side dishes (hijiki, kiriboshi daikon, konnyaku, mentaiko, natto, nori, steamed broccoli, salad, etc), as well as mini plain and chocolate croissants, toast, pancakes, yogurt, sweets and a variety of sodas, juices and coffee drinks. I'm mostly vegetarian but I felt there was enough variety for me to eat there each morning. Also, as part of their daily "Welcome Service" they offer free fountain drinks, juices and coffee drinks from 2pm to 11pm and ochazuke (rice with broth/tea) from 9pm to 11pm at the 5th floor lounge. They also allow non-hotel guests to enjoy the lounge during their "Welcome Service" hours for 500 yen/3 hours for unlimited drinks and the use of their wifi which I found convenient when a family member visited me at the hotel. I also appreciated the convenience of the washer/dryer during my 3 week stay. I've only ever stayed in big hotels in Tokyo before and never considered staying in the suburbs near where my parents reside. But the convenience of the location and the wonderful service at Vessel Inn has changed my perspective. I'm certain I'll be coming back to Vessel Inn again.
• Misako (10/5): - 駅のすぐ目の前という立地が最高。 徒歩5分圏内にコンビニやスーパー、お弁当屋など何でもあり便利です。 ホテルの部屋も広く、スタッフも皆さん親切でした。無料のドリンクバーや夜食にはお茶漬けが提供されるのが良かったです!
• Kreg (6/5): - this is a typical business hotel and i would have given it a higher rating, but the air conditioning system sucks. It had only off, low, medium, High. It was on High the whole time and barely blew out any air. The filter is totally clogged so I cleaned it and it made no difference. The biggest issue with this is that it had no way to control the temperature it was only a fan control. It was always too warm and very humid so I don't think any air conditioning was working at all . We were there end of May when the weather is perfect, so it was tolerable. I think it would be miserable in July or August unless the buildings air conditioning system gets fixed. I've stayed at many hotels in Japan and most of them have climate control in each room. I was very disappointed to find that this hotel, as nice as it is, does not provide this in each room.
• Masako (4/5): Not very pleasant - Elevator, hallways, everything was nasty. Carpet was stained and trash around corners. Rooms were so hot but air conditioners didn’t work. Front desk staff were nice, but unprofessional and didn’t understand what they were saying when we checked in. (They are learning Japanese.)
• Michael (8/5): A nice place to stay close to Narita Airport where we enjoyed a night there before leaving Japan - A convenient location relatively close to Narita Airport. The train to get here is not along the JR line, but the prices were still good. Close to some shopping, restaurants (we enjoyed some good food while there), and even a post office. The room was nice, too.

• EIZO (10/5): - 部屋が広く無料の夜食お茶漬けが良かった。朝食も内容が充実していた。

• Kee (8/5): Crampy toilet with big step in and out of its door. - Big step in and out of toilet is not friendly or very safe.
• Luis (8/5): - Very good stay.
• Miho (10/5): - アメニティーに入浴剤もあり、子連れで行ったので、子供が喜び嬉しかったです。
