• Julian (9/5): Just what we needed! - Booked at the last minute, delighted with our choice. Clean and comfortable, plenty of free parking available. We requested a room with a bathtub in the ensuite, which was much appreciated. Movies were available to rent from the front desk which was a nice touch. We used the self service laundry facilities and the very clean communal kitchen which were very useful to have (there was a good-sized private fridge in our hotel room to store groceries). More hotels should be like this one!

Niet heel warm welkom geheten door receptioniste. Receptionisten zijn eerder ‘conciërges’. Hotel is alleen om te slapen. Geen restaurant, geen ontbijtzaal. Ontbijten moet je in naastgelegen ‘hippe’ gelegenheid, waar het koud is en waar alle tafels bezet zijn door niet-hotelgasten.

My room looked out on a pretty garden. The location is superb! And I loved the restaurant! Nothing really, it's an older building so all the nips and knobs are not shiny but they are fine.

The room felt a bit outdated, and I could hear footsteps and creaking noises from the upstairs, which made it hard to sleep properly. I also think the room should have enough chairs to match the number of guests.

So definitely good for a drink for dinner XD. The staff was super nice and welcoming. The parking spot is free and spacious. The room was very clean, even though it was not the most modernized design, but the view was stunning. They have courtyards for each room on the first floor, facing a beautiful grassland. Highly recommend this hotel for families and friends. Not the most modernized hotel, but still clean and tidy.

• Megan (8/5): Budget stay in town centre. - Good location with cafes, shops and retaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Great price for a short stay between towns. There were issues with the phone lines in the hotel, and this was never disclosed upon check in. When we spoke to reception staff about this they seemed to not care that we were unable to contact reception or make any calls, and one receptionist didnt offer any appology or solutions to the issue. Disapointing customer service. The sound proofing was poor and could hear people talking and yelling in the hallways.

We appreciated the cupboard with kettle etc. No windows to open at night - only a sliding door - we were on the ground floor and didn’t know if it was safe to leave this open. The room was very stuffy.
