• Lara (1/5): Bed bugs, No staff response & lacking security - It is a good location if staying in the west end. The property had bedbugs and I was bitten from head to toe after staying in the property. I accidently locked my bag in my room and despite calling the emergency number no-one responded for 4 hours, at which time I discovered they kept a key in the shared mailboxes so anyone could access it, at any time and get into any room. When I did manage to get back in people arriving late were left stranded at the door with no access and no-one answering the phone. I've had no response from the property about any of the issues. They took my money and didn't acknowledge any of the serious health and safety concerns. They couldn't be less interested.

• Debi (10/5): A very enjoyable stat! - I loved the location. Bus and trains a few minutes walk. Felt very safe walking day or night. Restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The staff ladies were friendly, welcoming and polite. The small flat we had was actually a very comfortable size! We had twin beds, couch and coffee table. The kitchen was a very spacious room on its own with enough dishes, pan’s utensils to cook like we did. Nice sized bathroom.. great water pressure! My criticism is as with any place I travel…. Carpeting! I highly recommend bare floors. Easier to clean, no lingering smells or odd stains. The reason I say this is because when going down to where our flat was the strong smell of cat urine was overwhelming to add to this , the rug pattern was very disorienting. I nearly fell down a couple of times. This place was very clean but in need of updating.
• Clemence (6/5): It was disappointing. - It was in a nice Neighbourhood The bed was utterly uncomfortable, the shower doors did not close, the mirror and its tablet were unstable and I didn’t feel like I was getting what I had paid for.
• Celia (7/5): Good location - The location is great, only two stops of the tram into the city and on the airport line. As we had booked the room for 3 people, the pull out bed, was very uncomfortable, the springs need to be replaced. The main bed was comfy.

• Patrick (5/5): Ok for a short stay - Handy for work and City centre. Shower was good and kitchenette was good too. The tap/facet in the kitchen was very loose. The bathroom was narrow and some of the fixtures were loose.

• Mark (4/5): Fine for a short stay but be prepared for a small room - Good location, close to Haymarket station. The staff were polite and helpful. The room had a kitchen but we didn't use it. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. I hadn't appreciated how small the rooms are. Compared to the impressive and big entrance and staircase, each room just about fits a double bed and the small kitchen.

• Cristina (10/5): - Muy buena ubicación, la habitación grande y espaciosa, muy limpia y la cama súper grande y cómoda, la cocina tenía utensilios de cocina y además tenía té, café y azúcar. El personal muy amable, pudimos hacer check in antes de la hora y después pudimos dejar las maletas en la recepción cuando hicimos check out. Definitivamente volvería a hospedarme ahí si vuelvo a edimburgo.

• Mira Sánchez (4/5): No era lo que esperaba - Era una zona tranquila. La cocina estaba bien, tenía todos los utensilios de cocina además de nevera, hervidor de agua y tostadora. Hay secador y plancha. Hay ventilador El apartamento no estaba especialmente limpio. Los utensilios de cocina estaban grasientos y había en general bastante polvo en el apartamento. Hacía muchísima calor en el apartamento. Dentro del baño hay un toallero calefactor que no se puede apagar y está a una temperatura muy alta, era incómodo. La temperatura en la habitación también era alta (con el ventilador mejoraba). Nuestra habitación daba a las escaleras principales del hotel y se escuchaba bastante ruido.

• Franco (5/5): - Muy buena ubicación. La habitación que nos toco a mi y mi pareja era espaciosa y silenciosa. Punto a favor que tiene una cocina separada de la habitación, la cual incluye un microondas, heladera, pava y tostadora. En muchas ocasiones no pudimos bañarnos con agua caliente. Decidimos bañarnos a la mañana dado que a la noche no salia el agua caliente y hacian mucho ruido las cañerias. Las puertas no cierran bien. Habia polillas y mosquitas y no se notaba la limpieza del personal. A partir de las 5/6 de la tarde, ya no hay mas presencia del personal en el hotel.

• Jessica (9/5): Tre giorni a Edimburgo - Posizione ottima, a 5 minuti a piedi dal Dean Village e a una ventina dalle altre attrazioni principali. Struttura facile da raggiungere dalla stazione grazie alla fermata del tram a 8 min a piedi. Camera spaziosa e dotata di tutti i comfort. Consiglio una tenda oscurante per la camera 4 che ha solo una tenda semitrasparente che affaccia su un’altra proprietà

Das Bett mit Stoffbezug war schon recht eckelig vom Sofa sprechen wir lieber gar nicht, gehört schon länger auf den Sperrmüll! 4. Stock ohne Aufzug muss man wissen falls zB größer Koffer!

La douche était cassée et en mauvais état. Les rideaux étaient inutiles , toute la lumiere passait dans la chambre.

Asciugamani piccoli a meno che non sei più piccolo di 160cm. Materasso mollo quasi sfondato. Abbiamo trovato il latte scaduto tra gli alimenti. Non c’è ascensore.

• Indira (6/5): QUARTO BEM EQUIPADO. LIMPEZA DEFICIENTE. - Não vou atribuir nota mais baixa, pois sempre sou justa nas minhas avaliações e tento descrever bem a acomodação. A localização é ótima, o quarto amplo e bem equipado. Banheiro e minicozinha bem amplos e confortáveis. Tinha tudo o que precisei no quarto, desde secador, a ferro para passar roupas, além de copos, talheres, microondas e frigobar. Tudo estava muito bom. Infelizmente tive um problema, que sequer foi dada atenção pelo estabelecimento. Não tem escadas e a portaria não é 24 h. Se ouve o barulho dos carros na rua. Recomendo um tapa ouvidos. Quanto à informação que vou reportar, só vou inserir aqui, pois não obtive qualquer resposta do alerta que fiz ao deixar a acomodação. Fui picada por percevejos (bed bugs), minhas mãos, rosto e ombros ficaram acabados de picadas deste inseto. Então, quando reservar, se ainda assim prosseguir, observem se eles fazem dedetização no ambiente e questionem quando foi a última. Quase destrói minha viagem. Minha "sorte" que já estava no final e estou com a pele cheia de marquinhas que ainda não saíram. Não escolho um estabelecimento 4 estrelas para ser picada por percevejo. Então isso foi um absurdo e a falta de atenção do hotel realmente me fez não retornar nem indicar a estadia.

• Livio (6/5): - Ambienti puliti. Ottima posizione per gli spostamenti. Si trova in una zona molto tranquilla e silenziosa. Il personale è sempre gentile e disponibile Arredo da rinnovare. La porta di ingresso ha fessure su tutti i lati che lasciano passare la luce esterna e l'aria. Tende alle finestre sono rotte, da cambiare. Per una questione igienica la moquette andrebbe sostituita con pavimento NON in tessuto.

• Elizabeth (8/5): Clean & convenient in a good location - Location was an easy walk to train station and bus transport, it was a good neighbourhood with restaurants and shops close by and it felt safe. Very quiet with double glazed windows keeping out all but the loudest of the morning traffic. Liked the kitchenette so we could make normal light meals not eat out all the time. The bed was very firm & pillows not great. Shower/bathroom is very small, so are the towels. Only just enough room for two people in the kitchen. Stingy amount of plates, cops etc. just two of each, bedroom curtains were old and worn like the carpet which had an iron mark on it. Doors squeak , need WD40.

• Santiago Omar (4/5): No volvería. - Habitación grande. El personal amable y resolutivo pero limitado al horario de 10 a 18hs. La ubicación no está buena. Lejos de todo. Tenes que caminar mucho para todo y a la noche con el frio y el viento o la lluvia no esta tan bueno eso. Instalaciones medio pelo. No hay recepción 24hs, asi que si tenes un problema no hay inmediatez. El personal amable igualmente. No hay desayuno ni ascensor, a tener en cuenta si viaja gente mayor. Yo estuve toda una noche sin luz en la habitación y a la mañana cuando fui a buscar algo para desayunar habia una rata muerta en la entrada. El wifi deja mucho que desear.

Trying to lug a suitcase up all those floors was awful the settee bed was awful. So uncomfortable and really thin mattress so near impossible to sleep on. Joinery skills poor as doors hardly stayed closed and shelves wonky

There were rats scurrying around through the night, one fell through the ceiling in the kitchenette, one scurried out of the bathroom at 5:30am, they ate and tore up the carpet at the doorway... The day clerk was almost disinterested, have me number to call... No phone reception so messaged through Booking.com... This place is a health hazard and although we received an apology from the operators, the place should be shut down until it is cleaned and rodent proofed...

• Ludivine (6/5): - L'emplacement Nous n'avions pas reçu les directives pour une arrivée tardive. Nous avons dû appeler et patienter pour obtenir les codes. Puis la carte pour ouvrir la porte n avait pas été activée. À nouveau il a fallu attendre après plusieurs coups de téléphone qu une dame descende pour faire le nécessaire. Une fois entrés dans la chambre il y faisait une chaleur atroce. Quasi 30 degrés! Même fenêtres ouvertes c'etait étouffant. Le radiateur dans la chambre brûlait et il était impossible de l'éteindre ou de le baisser, la tête thermostatique tournait dans le vide. Nous avons étouffé tout le séjour, la réceptionniste nous a dit être au courant mais qu'ils ne pouvaient rien faire... il a fallu dormir les fenêtres ouvertes sachant qu à l'extérieur il y avait des gens qui parlaient et s amusaient jusque tard dans la nuit. Très peu reposant donc. Le robinet dans la cuisine ne tenait plus, des enduits de rebouchages n'ont pas été repeint..cela gâche la décoration...

• Gary (4/5): Edinburgh - The location was perfect for us. Just out of town but walkable. We were disappointed that our room was not the one advertised. Also even though the radiators were cold in the room, the heat of the room was unbearably hot all the time. Sleeping was hard as the heat was the temp was not comfortable. We had to leave the window open and even as the temp outside was only in single figures, the temp in the room was in the high 20's. We would have reported this to reception but didn't see anybody there until the day we left.
