Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Peacefully and many bars to reach small distance .i have been staying here at least 5 times now
- Philippe (8/5): - emplacement parfait
Soi7.SOI8にすぐ行けます。
- James (4/5): Disappointed Jimbo - Very old hotel,Staff at times, very uncooperative.nobody smiled, nobody seemed interested. The ladies cleaning the room were fine
- rudie1964 (8/5): Good hotel - Old hotel but clean rooms with balcony ,friendly staff, swimmingpool, free wifi in the rooms, television and frigerator. near to the beach 5minutes wslking ,and 10 minutes walking to central shoppingcenter
- gailc711 (2/5): Don't do it. - Hotel was worst I've ever stayed in. Internal bathroom door was rotten. Bare electrial wires in bathroon. Tiles on the balcony were broken and the rails were loose. Room was not clean. Booked and paid for 5 nights stayed for 1.
- Hasnayen (8/5): Good Condition - Room was big size. Bathroom facility was good but no hhot water. Building was old but room and other area cleaning was average. Location was fantastic. Its near to beach road. Many food restaurant was near the hotel.
- Gail (2/5): Don't stay there! - Reception was clean and staff were friendly that's where it ended. The room was in need of repair and modernisation. It was not a hotel for families or genuine couples. The area was smelly and full of unattractive tourism from Westerners. Booked for 3 nights and left after 12 hours.
- James (6/5): The restaurant around the corner had better Wi Fi - Hotel was a little shabby but I guess you get what you pay for. The pool was nice and hotel was in a good area. They advertise free Wi-Fi but it was all but nonexistent.
- timmy (2/5): Very nasty place - After check in, I discovered the towels in room had yellow stains. I requested new ones from the housekeeper who was on the floor and she offered even dirtier ones. Entire room was filthy and bathroom condition was horrible. We checked out immediately even though payment was non refunded. This hotel needs maintenance. It needs to be shut down by public health authorities. Sorry but it’s true! The only good thing about this place is that it’s close to beach road which has a lot of activities.
- Martin (2/5): Good Location But..... - The only good thing about this hotel is the location - on Centre Road literally 2 mins from the front/beach.
Extremely old hotel and very run-down. Never worth the price they charge which isn't a lot.
Doors & Balcony Sliders do not shut/lock properly.
Linen, Towels etc very old, broken etc.
Bed, carpet & Room furniture many decades old and very worn.
Dodgy Electrics. Dirty Fridge.
Obviously no attempt made at modernisation at all & simply a cash-cow.
AVOID..... In 2018 it's easy to find far better hotels at the same price or a little more.
- RichmondMartin (6/5): Tired looking bar and reception - Called in here for a drink as we were walking around the area. Our drinks were fine, and the prices reasonable.
The hotel at the front has a very open plan layout, with what appears to be the reception in the middle. It was still stuck in its original decor, which could have suited 20-30 years ago. Lots of broken light fittings around the pillars, and the tables and chairs had been painted once, and needed to be done again.
It was nice to be able to relax and take the weight off our feet, with a cool breeze blowing up the street.
Would use this place for a rest again, if i were passing
- hoosainnarker (8/5): Decent Clean Hotel nearly on beachfront - Decent clean hotel, a bit on the old side, but with friendly and helpful staff and spacious interior makes up for any shortcomings. Extremely cheap and excellent location - 2 minutes from the beach and within walking distance to several major malls.
It has a nice pool and a small outdoor gym on the ground floor. Rooms have either 2 single beds or a double. They also offer discounted rates for long stays.
- Brendan (8/5): Good place - Old place but good & good value
- Steohan (10/5): Nice staff - I enjoyed my stay there. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
- 665barrieb (8/5): Nice hotel at a reasonable price. - The hotel is in walking distance to the beach. It has a nice restaurant, a swimming pool and weight machines. There is a lift which is good for older people. If you don't like noise at night ask for a room on the pool side. You can't go wrong at the Queen Pattaya.
- Thomas (8/5): Great location - Good value for the money
- Thomas (6/5): Good location - Near the beach and good night life.
- MAVI3558 (10/5): nice hotel - hotel central pattaya road,25meters from pattaya memorial hospital,100 metre from beach,at door step bhat bus....clean hotel, clean rooms....free wifi at reception adjoining area, small nice pool and nice unused gim machinery, were there from 11june till 17june 2016
- 517heril (8/5): Good hotel with fair price - I stay at this hotel for 2 nights when i visit pattaya. Its good hotel with nice staff who can help you. This hotel just a little far from the fampus pattaya walking street but for me its not a big deal since i enjoying walking and sigh seeing. Highly recommended for you who wants to find 2 stars hotel at pattaya :)
- Vikrambhanot61 (10/5): Value for Money place - We really enjoyed our stay in this place the staff is helpful & non intrusive .
Yes its a guest free hotel but still dose not reek of cheap establishments.
We found this place when the hotel we had booked did not give us the rooms we had booked at night 3am the staff here assured us rooms immediately the looms were clean and attached bathrooms were with hot and cold water cleaned daily we stayed here for six days and really did not face any problem
- Jakir_Jahamjed (2/5): Very Bad! Don't do It!! Try to Avoid!!! - Pathetic ambience, outdated and dirty rooms with below the level furniture, disgusted and sad-looking staff. The staff are very unhelpful and rude, there English is minimal even the staff on the reception, worst hotel I've stated at.
Everything is Bad, Noisy Environment & Smelly Rooms.
- tjkp283 (6/5): Good hotel Value for money - It is Guest free hotel that means you can bring any guest anytime they don"t charge anything for it . It is average hotel with okay staff best part is location very near to beach and market too .Please don't have anything at restaurants hotel is only good for stay , only negative point is that they don"'t provide free Wi-FI at your room it only available at reception area . Good for Bachelors, family people avoid can get better options
- vibgyor84 (2/5): Is this really a Pattaya hotel?? - Well, such a disgrace!
I was feeling as if staff is forced to work here. Pathetic ambience, outdated and dirty rooms with below the level furniture, disgusted and sad-looking staff, I wonder why I even booked it by seeing photos online. Over the top, they should start paying the tourists to stay here, let alone their price for lack of amenities. All in all, a complete package of dump to spoil your stay at a beautiful place I.e. Pattaya.
Pros: 1) you can see the beach from outside of hotel, i.e. from the road, but you can't live there. So, there hotel comes handy.
2) you have an elevator to reach your floor.
Cons: 1) Staff is bored, disgusted and doesn't care if you are here or not. But, they are too serious for their paper formalities, if that's called professionalism.
2) the lobby to the rooms is scary, unattractive and is like taking you to your cell instead of room.
3) rooms are seldom attractive, lacks good furniture, safety locker and above all, cleanliness.
4) WiFi is free only in the reception area, no WiFi in rooms at all.
5) they have safety lockers on ground floor, like ones as in GoGo bars girls changing room...my foot!
6) Restaurant is rudimentary but food is just palatable.
Guys, I don't like to mention other hotel names here but I have stayed in far posh and good hotels in Pattaya in almost same or lesser price.
Go search other hotel, you will not regret it.
- Ggraylaw (2/5): Worse Hotel in Pattaya - The rooms are marginal and the loud music and voices from soi 7 echo in your room until 3 a m. The staff are nice. But every chance the management has to rip you off, they will. Horrible place to stay if any problem arises. Do not stay here it rewards greedy, dishonest management.
- rikk_rikk (8/5): Good Hotel - I have been there twice, nice neat & clean budgeted hotel, located near to beach (2 minutes walking). Quiet far from walking street (approx 700 mtr), but you can get sharing Taxi (Tuk-Tuk) easily.
If you wish to take ferry for Coral Island, you need to walk towards walking street.
- graniis (6/5): I hav stayed here 10-15 times over the years and have allways had a pleasent stay. - Nice staff, Big rooms. A bit worn out but very good value for money.
You can eat breakfast a cross the street at tops.
I always stay here when visiting pattaya.
can be a bit noisy from the surrounding bar areas.
- Hamxa321 (6/5): Decent location normal hotel - If you want to stay in budget hotel with basic necessities then this hotel is perfect for you. The location is a plus point. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. I would definitely stay here again if I cannot afford anything luxury.
- DKJ_1971 (6/5): my rate 6/10 - This is a hotel you want to put your arms around and give it a big hug to as it needs some TLC. Pattaya Klang or Central is bang in the center of Pattaya so this hotel is prime location for everything including public transport and a 2 minute walk to the sea front, at low season you get a room for 700bht per night which is a bargain (no breakfast) room is clean and tidy and for me in R308 I had a very comfortable bed, the rooms have a mini bar which IMO is a waste of time as there is a 7 ELEVEN next to the hotel selling everything you need and more, however....... once high season prices of 1250bht per night kick in then the mood changes, the hotel lobby including restaurant are open to the road so you get the heat and the fumes and the noise from passing traffic, this area needs to be glassed in and air conditioned, the tv reception in the bedrooms is via cable HD and the picture quality is screaming out for an LED 42" which would be a perfect size for the room but unfortunately all rooms have an old fashioned style 21" box tv which no uses anymore and at 44yrs old I struggled to even see it and with the heat in Thailand you will probably spend quite a bit of your holiday in your room, there is no safety box in the room and no plugs to charge your devices unless you unplug the tv or fridge or you buy an extension lead and use the socket in the wash room but then you can't close the door and there no kettle for tea or coffee, the air con in R308 was dated and the remote was attached to the wall and I either had it freezing cold or sticky hot as the thermostat must have been broken but I was told all rooms are the same and if you want wifi in the bedroom then you'll be charged an extra 135bht per day which is a disgrace as nearly all hotels now offer free wifi.
If I was a millionaire I'd buy this hotel and just add a few modern features and given it's location it would be even more popular. Would I stay again, Yes maybe in low season for the value but certainly not in high season.
- 160chrisc160 (8/5): Great place - A cheap very clean hotel in the heart of pattaya thailand
Staff are fantastic
Even better now the Russians aren't around pattaya town and not staying in this hotel with there penny pinching rude and arrogant attitude
Well recommend hotel
- Verified traveler (8/5): Location is central to all amenities - It was okay. Nothing spectacular. Centrally located- yes.
- 527cyds (8/5): Good basic hotel in central location - It's great for Pattaya as it's away from all the bustle yet minutes walk to bars, beach, etc. Friendly staff and good, clean rooms which incidentally are massive. It has been renovated but still has that old hotel feel about it. Extremely cheap. No problem bringing visitors back at night. Handy, too for shops and cafes just across the road.
I have stayed here more that 10 times.
- HangzhouJack (8/5): Non stop air condition makes you feel great! - I stayed here solo for around 1 week. The staff was great. Always smiling. They speak average English. The hotel is close to the beach, on the main road. Easy to get tuktuk, taxi or whatever you need. Just outside there is a 7/11 store which is a life saver.
The hotel is old so the rooms are big, not like the new concept hotels in Pattaya which have really small rooms. I paid 750 baht for one night (no breakfast), which is a good deal. If you are looking for a cheap hotel, check the one beside this place, low season the price was 600 baht but that place is not good for long stay.
Now the advantages and bad sides of the hotel....
* really huge rooms. have balcony (probably all rooms)
* they change towels everyday, always cleaning the room
* they have new air conditions (not public used), and it works really well
* they don't have these electro magnetic door keys so it means you can turn on everything and leave and when you come back, you find a room with 25 degrees and it is great when you come back from outside's hot weather
* close to beach and there is one 7/11 just beside the hotel
disadvantages
* if you are coming with a lot of money, computers, laptops, ipads etc, maybe you will need a safebox. it is not because the hotel is not safe, it is because it is an old hotel so the doors can't be locked, just close the door and leave system.
* the beds were not very comfortable (i changed two rooms during my one week stay), and the pillows were not that great
* if you choose a room facing the bar street, you will have sleeping problems for sure
i stayed on july, solo travel. satisfied with the service. paid 750 baht
- rod (6/5): Bad plumbing the room just did not smell clean - The room was alright just smell of the bad drainage the hotel is old the pool is great close to beach the noise from soi6 got abit much stops around 200am.for the price I paid it was alright. Find somewhere else next time. Only picked this place for location and the pool.the last time I stayed in pattayta I had walk along way and no pool. This was a bit better.
