- Roam68283843670 (10/5): Panic to Fantastic - I am a huge IHG fan. This property out did themselves! I booked our reservation wrong on an extremely busy weekend for Sidney. I called prepared for the worst but the lady I spoke to was like “no worries we can fix that” and she DID!! No extra charges no complications. Then one morning my vehicle wouldn’t start, no problem at all they took care of that too!! We will always stay here when in Sidney!

Everyone was so kind and the place was so comfy! - I travel a lot for work, and I have to say that this was one of the very best experiences I have ever had. When I arrived, I noticed I was placed on the 4th floor. I have a ton of stuff I have to drag in and out of the hotel room for work. Also, my older dog travels with me and the elevator for potty breaks is just a pain. Sometimes I don't bother to ask if they can switch rooms because the last few places have been so sour about changes rooms. The lady that checked me in, Beckie, saw my face when I saw the room number and when I asked if there was a possibility to be on the first floor, she took the time to do the work and move me to a first-floor room. She was incredibly kind to me and MY dog - giving him snacks and love. I called the front desk to thank her again - she didn't expect me to be so very grateful for her kindness but now a days people just aren't nice anymore. The room was spacious and clean, the ice maker in the freezer worked and the bed was soooo comfy. I wished my plans were to stay longer than 2 nights because I just loved it there so much and everyone was so kind. I can't say enough good things about the place. There were dvds you borrow and watch in your room too. I really appreciated the whole staff's attitude toward their guests. the manager told me that they see people as people, not credit cards. I just love that.

- F1888KIjulier (10/5): Sidney’s Best - The crew at the Candlewood Suites in Sidney, Montana are genuinely invested in their clients. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted and warmly welcomed. The property is well-maintained, a fantastic grocery store and other food/retail stores are within walking distance, and the coffee is delicious! Each interaction with staff members—from Derek, to Beckie, to Sam (and many others whose names I can’t recall!)—was collegial and kind. The hotel owners/management know their clientele’s needs—our puppy enjoyed hanging out with us at the gazebo out back; there are special washers for oilfield workers; and the Candlewood Cupboard was well stocked. This will be our preferred place to stay in Sidney going forward!

- 16susiek (10/5): Greeat stay in Sidney MT - We came to Sidney to pheasant hunt on opening weekend. The employees were so welcoming!!! They thought of everything we might need. They juggled our accommodations so we could have dinner in our one room together. We will be back next year!! Rooms are great, large with fridge and cook top. Clean and comfy is how I would describe the rooms, The people were the bet!!

Hotel cancelled on us. - After I had booking confirmation through a 3rd party the hotel called me directly and said that no I did not in fact have any reservations with them as they were full. They sent me a cancelation number but I have not received confirmation that the funds were put back into my account. We had to struggle to find other accommodations as there were many events in the area.

She asked if i booked online and i said yes. She said, "oh yes, i see you paid online too, well someone should have turned off the online booking because we don't have any more rooms. Thats why I always tell people never to use Expedia or any online services because this is what happens." For the record this has never happened to me before.
- U8712BUkatem (10/5): Comfort with a personal touch! - Great service with a personal touch! I’m here for an extended stay, and the bed is comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped with a full-size refrigerator, coffee pot, 2 burner cooktop, dishwasher, microwave and toaster. There’s a grocery store in the strip mall across the street, so shopping is easy. The room is comfortable and has a desk with adequate work space. There’s a laundry facility and gym if you need a workout. There’s also a little cantina for late night snacks, beverages, and sundry items. Special mention of Derek at the front desk. He’s been very helpful with any special requests, and never makes you feel like you’re imposing on his good nature. All in all, this is a great place to stay in Sidney!

- 325lyndaj (10/5): Stop looking, this is the best place to stay in Sidney Montana - This is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in, and I travel a lot. I have also worked in a hotel and I am very picky about cleanliness, and this is the cleanest hotel that I have seen. I stayed in 3 other hotels before this one and none met my standards. I am working from April to August here so I need a clean comfortable place to stay. The rooms are large. They have a dishwasher, burners to cook, a full-size refrigerator , a kitchen sink, and fully loaded with cooking utensils, Pots pans, dishes cups, everything you need to cook yourself a meal. They have a small store in the hotel where you can purchase, frozen dinners, ice cream, soda, bottled water, playing cards, anything you need, and the prices are reasonable. The coffee is free anytime and it actually tastes good. The patio on the premises with the gas grills cooked up some delicious hamburgers, and the hotel manager, Derek Fitzsimmons, went out of his way to make sure the grill was clean and I had all the proper utensils to make my meal comfortably. It didn't matter day or night if I needed something Drerk got it for me as quickly as possible. If you are planning a stay in Sidney Montana, I would have to suggest the Candlewood suites for a comfortable stay. during the time that I stayed here, I don't think that I had even one staff member treat me rude, and everybody was always accommodating. Laundry is free, and the gym facility kept me in shape while I was here, and that too, was very clean at all times. They also provide you with laundry soap if you don't have any of your own as well as free movie rentals at the front desk, books to borrow, and other cooking items if you want to make something special. I sat here thinking about maybe one negative thing about this hotel, and the only thing that I can think of, was that I had to be away from my family while I was working, but aside from that I have absolutely no complaints. There is no swimming pool, but this was a great place to stay. It had a great staff and I felt like I was as close to being at home as I could be, and that is very hard to do in a hotel when you're traveling, but they made that happen. I will always stay here whenever I travel to this area.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Clean and tidy but bring earplugs! - The room itself was great! Nice little well-equipped kitchenette, roomy bathroom and comfortable bed. The free coffee station in the lobby was well stocked and there were plenty of food options for purchase. The problem was the soundproofing! It was non-existent! This hotel definitely caters to longer term workers as we noted by the vehicles in the parking lot. I guess the person next door was worried about sleeping in because he had his alarm clock set for multiple times during the early morning starting around 2am. We could hear it better than he could because he was very slow to hit "snooze". Unfortunately, he also had a cough which we heard all night long. Not a very restful stay for us.
- Craig (4/5): Not again - Have stayed here many times. Very disappointed this time. Usually a quieter place away from the highway. It sounded like a hot rod festival in the parking lot. Would like to have at least some form of breakfast in the morning. All for sale now. No maid service but the prices don't seem to fluctuate. Will probably not stay here again. Other places to stay in Sidney.
- Joebaba (8/5): Good stay - We had a one bedroom suite overnight before returning to Canada the next day. The staff were friendly - room was large and bed was huge and comfortable. The property is getting a little tired, but not too bad. Lots of free parking. Room has a full kitchen - full fridge and stove and microwave. There's no free breakfast, like most hotels have these days. Room was very quiet. TV in the main room and bedroom. Rate was very reasonable. Close to a mall and some restaurants. Lots of free parking. WiFi worked well. All in all a good stay.

- cookier569 (10/5): Safe harbor in a Blizzard - Candlewood Suites in Sidney MT is my go-to place whenever I am in that area. In December 2023 I planned to stay one night but the weather turned bad and it was necessary to extend my stay. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. Rather than being stressful , my stay became a mini-vaca! I was able to complete work assignments and also get some much needed rest. THANK YOU to this very special group of people.

- Tom (10/5): Good experience! - Manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and clean. Parking was good, halls were clean, AC and heat worked good. The hotel had pots, pans and all sorts of appliances available. The out side patio had two gas grills that worked. Some of the guests left messes outside for the Hotel staff to clean up which I consider to be disrespectful for the staff and other guests. Overall, it's a great property and I will stay there again! Hotel guests need to be considerate of others. This is not the Hotel staffs problem. Suggestion: the Hotel should put signs out on the patio telling guests to be respectful of others and please clean up your messes, Also, share the facilities with other guests.

- Kelli (10/5): - The staff were super helpful and pleasant to work with. The room was exceptionally clean and fresh. They even installed a boot brush outside the front door to help keep the lobby clean from the oil workers' boots. Knowing there were lots of oil workers staying there, they designated a certain area for them to clean their work clothes separately from the other washers and driers, which kept the area super tidy. Nice and quiet in the hotel, just local workers coming home after work to clean up and socialize a little bit before bed. They were nice neighbors!

- Sandy (8/5): Nice - Our room was great just what we wanted, but there were a few things that could have been improved upon. First off we had a walk-in shower and there was no place to put ur shower accessories (soap, shampoo,etc) . Second, there was no phone book and for someone from out of the area hard to look in yellow pages for area stores and attractions. And lastly there were no Kleenex , most hotels have at least one box available for the guests, paper towels are a little hard on the noses, so had to buy our own. While I realize that all these things cost money, some of the little things are what make a hotel really stand out.

- carolanneliseb (10/5): Worth the drive off hwy 2 - Traveling highway 2 and planning to stay around Williston, when we were surprised by a very busy town. All hotels filled by local workers and very overpriced. Found this Candlewood after a quick internet search and booked based on price and availability. It was a perfect stay! We were greeted with open arms, room was spacious, exceptionally clean and had all the amenities you could need. The front desk gave us a tip on the local diary queen for an evening snack and complementary popcorn. Traveling with a tween, we usually seek out free breakfast and a pool. This hotel had neither and we didn’t miss it at all! Highly recommend the drive off 2!

The mud room and locker rooms are perfect to store your muddy boots,wash your greasy clothes and shower up, which really helps to keep your room clean
- Runninragged (8/5): Under heightened security?? - The motel itself was fine. Very clean. Nice Room. When I arrived the main doors were locked. A staff member shouted through the door asking if I had a reservation. I shouted back "Yes" He would not unlock the door until I showed him my id and he went back to the computer to verify. Only then did he unlock the door and let me in. It has been a very strange visit. This is a little town of less than 7,000 people...what in the world?? Made me feel like I should be packing a pistol. Very unprofessional for a IHG hotel.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - My wife and I were not impressed with our stay here. Upon arrival we were told the TV server was fried and acted like it was no big deal and no discount was offered. After calling it a night ,we were kept up all night by what sounded like a hamster wheel spinning in the wall by the AC/Heat unit . I brought this up when we checked out and no discount was offered either. They told us that they have never had that complaint before. Definitely wont be staying there again.
