Guest Reviews
- Faye (5/5): It was a very beautiful hotel but it just wasn’t clean. It wasn’t fully staffed. It was too cold. I couldn’t get towels - Why it was so cold inside the building 02 it just wasn’t clean our room had a hair on the bed and had a dirty rag in the shower. It just wasn’t clean. You couldn’t get extra towels. I’ve just wouldn’t recommend staying there. The only nice thing about it was that it was right there at the convention center. I like that it was right next to the convention center, and then we got free breakfast because we were part of the convention center
- Millikan (1/5): - The pool. It was overpriced for the quality of the room. We checked in and the room was dirty and a housekeeper had to come recreate it. Then that evening we went to take showers and the water never got hot. It was a miserable stay and they never even tried to give a discount so I would not recommend the hotel or will we stay again.
- Kacey (4/5): - Front desk in evening was very polite. They keep pool open till 11. First I booked and paid ahead of time online but when I got there I about panicked because they couldn't find reservation or name even when I gave them a confirmation number on my receipt. So it took 5 times going back an forth to car to call an figure out situation. Next room was decently clean their is several different small spots around the rooms on walls an such of dark substances looks like flinging chocolate or soda, bathroom shower has a softball size Cracking and chips in ceiling right above toilet from water damage or leak ,their was a big brown spill of something that was already in floor honestly it looked like someone's pet had been their and shit on floor it was by the bed closest to window. None of the 3 tvs worked it just would show a discombobulated picture only 2 channels worked news and state capital crap that was the most irritating of them all is no service an be stuck somewhere overnight and nothing to do bc we're traveling an the tvs wouldnt work. Also leave your breakfast at 6 am people still get up early on weekends but bc we had too leave by 645 am we had to skip breakfast that technically i paid for included in with room and be hungry the entire day bc we were stuck stuck at our event. Also I think I might have/dropped left my small camera next day I looked threw every bag/thing i own bc I needed it to record but couldn't find it so im wondering if it might have got knocked of bed in back room an fell under bed and I didnt know.

- O8090JBmarys (4/5): Good for shuttle to airport - Friendly check-in late on Labor Day weekend. That’s where the good ends. We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite, which is so nice for families, but when we entered the room, it smelled like wet dog. It was horrible. That smell lasted the full two nights we were there. The room was “clean”, but how clean when it smells like dog?
This is a hotel in much need of tlc and a little etiquette reminders for the staff. We checked out before dawn on a Sunday and caught the shuttle to the airport. Driver was professional and safe. But the clerk at the front desk apparently thought her phone conversation was more important than asking how our stay was or even thanking us for staying.
I’d stay here again only if I needed an airport shuttle the next day, as that was convenient.
- Loung (10/5): - Anything so good
- Nguyen (9/5): -
- Kaye (8/5): -
- Ruben (5/5): -
- cheryl (8/5): - The hotel itself was very nice, my only issue was that it was loud. We could hear everything that was being said outside our riom, or the room next door.
While it was a Saturday night, it was loud, like a party outside of our room.
Someone set off a car alarm, just loud until after 12 am.
- Christopher (8/5): Nice hotel - We stayed here as part of a longer trip. It was a nice hotel, quick check-in, quiet, and spacious for the 4 of us. We would definitely stay here again.
- Deepal (8/5): - It was great would have been even better if the bathrooms had vent/fan / exhaust.
- Philip (8/5): - Rooms was great and location was superb. Only thing was the beds are FIRM and when I say firm. The only thing the comes close to the hardness of said beds is a concrete slab.
- Mervin (10/5): - Wonderful!
- Inez (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashley (8/5): Pretty good stay - Front desk super friendly and helpful. Pool is as clean and helped entertain my kids. Breakfast was “okay” with coffee, juices, water and hot and cold options. Room is spacious. Some spots where not clean (dirty spot on walls, hair in shower, etc.) but overall fairly clean. Mini kitchen we nice with basic kitchen items.
- Ricky (10/5): Nix Get-a-way - Booked this hotel for a last minute weekend get a way trip with the family for spring break. Love the area and close to shopping and eating places
- Daqurie (8/5): Very good - Nice clean rooms, good location, good breakfast . Pool was very cold, staff was rude when called to ask if pool was open . We also suspected we may have left luggage in our room and when we contacted hotel to confirm they told us to call back the next day. .
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- MICHAEL (10/5): - This hotel is not fancy, however, it is absolutely perfect. We stayed in a two bedroom suite. It is an honest two separate bedrooms, a large combined, living area and a complete separate kitchen. It was absolutely perfect for our situation.
- Alison (9/5): Superb -
- Gorinda (10/5): - It was a great stay!
- Eldon (10/5): Home away from home - Home away from home the room was so peaceful and quite
- Raquel (10/5): One night family trip - Stayed one night as a part of a family trip and we were really pleased over all with the stay. The room was very big and had many options as far as kitchen amenities that we took advantage. The price for the room was highly reasonable and the room was in really good clean condition. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here in the future.
- Sosha (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (3/5): Unpleasant - Bedding was clean The room was disgusting. There were fingerprints on the wall. Soda spilled on the back wall by the bed , stains on the ceiling the curtain was filthy and the hair conditioner was empty in the shower dispenser, stains on the basket in the closet. Room needed a serious deep cleaning and refurbishing. The parking lot smelled like marajuana.
- Skylar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (4/5): Would not recommend - The hotel is off of I-40 enough that you don't hear traffic. Our first suite had blood on the couch in several places. The second suite had issues with the drains draining in the shower and sink. The second bedrooms's bedding was stained and the mattress cover was shredded. No remote to the TV in the first bedroom and the nightstand drawers would not stay shut in either room.
- WorldTravelerSoCal (8/5): Towneplace Suites OKC Airport very nice - Had a spacious suite at this hotel for an overnight stay. I liked the extra room, great selection of TV channels, and the mini-kitchen. The bathroom was a bit small and I would have liked a bigger one. We had the included breakfast which was ok but not as good as some extra cost restaurants in the area. Lots of places to eat in the area. Another thing, everything in the room seemed new.
- robertmZ2005BX (2/5): do not recommend. rude staff. - RUDE STAFF. especially lady with green fingernails and older lady. We arrived July 25th to a room with a broken AC. Then assigned to another room that we did not book. We booked. 2 queen suite with sofa. They said they never offered it. They started shouting at us. ALWAYS saying not their problem. I asked for a refund to go elsewhere. They said no and called security. These people need to take a course in hospitality. As other reviews stated this is a big drug area. Police were there early morning of July 26 detaining drug dealers.
Just be safe and stay somewhere else. Their website page does not reflect their property. You will not get what you reserved.
we did not use points but are Elite Bonvoy members. they could have upgraded us but they chose to be difficult.
- Ivona (7/5): Good - Great
- 908sandig (2/5): Beware. Look Elsewhere. - Fromt desk clerks on the evening of 7/25/24 were extremely rude. They should not be working in hospitality. I have reported them along with video to corporate.
They did not place us in the room we reserved.
All they kept repeating was it was not their problem. Instead of just trying to fix the issue or provide a refund.
This would have been resolved quickly if the had let us see the room first.
There is a heavy homeless and drug use issue in the area. Police came but twice to detain or arrest lurkers outside the hotel.
The area is definitely not family friendly.
- Kendra (4/5): Disappointing - The bed was comfortable There was no water and no one notified me. We could not shower or brush our teeth. The front desk girl the day of checkout was so confused and took a while to check us in. The lady at the desk for the no running water was acting like it was no concern. There was hair all in the tub when we got there. It has so much noise early in the morning. It wasn't the best stay for sure. I was very upset.
- Patricia (10/5): Great for longer stay and family. - The suite is quite nice. Although I was only here overnight, I would certainly recommend a longer stay as comfortable.
- JohnTLH (10/5): TownePlace Suites OKC Airport - I stayed here one night in June. Management was most cordial and assisted me with some television difficulties. Breakfast was average TownePlace Suites menu. Room was very clean and bathroom shower was quite nice. I would stay here again!
- Victor (10/5): - We had a slight problem at check in but the property was amazing. Our rooms were spacious, breakfast was good, and the parking was great!! I definitely would recommend this place to all my family and friends.
- Lori (10/5): - Great suite! Very comfy and clean!
- Kzarzuela (9/5): Great 2 days at TownePlace - Location very close to the bike paths. Room was big and clean. No funky smells. Bedding was white and spotless. Bed itself was firm but comfortable. Bathroom clean and shower area was very clean. I like that the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner was in pump bottles and mounted on the wall. Breakfast was passable. I don't like the sausage patties but I do like the bacon and scrambled eggs. The pastries were packaged. I much prefer cinnamon rolls baked from the oven. Coffee was very good and 24 hours too!!
- Haskell (4/5): - The dishes in the room looked lke they hadnt been washed. Room smelled weird
- Stevens (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonathan (10/5): - Convenient and clean
- Felicia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (6/5): - Felt old and ran down. Bathroom has seen better days. Maybe if there was vents the walls wouldn’t be peeling and looking moldy.
- 293rodh (2/5): Bad Customer Service. - I book my room early last week for my daughter's volleyball tournament. I normally book Hilton 95% of the time. I went with Marriott only to try something new . After canceling my room at the embassy suites last week. The TownePlace called me today and told me the room I book was no longer available and they couldn't accommodate me with the same type of room no where else. Never again. I will stay loyal to the Hilton Brand. Typing from my phone excuse the bad grammar or misspells.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - room not properly cleaned and fridge had horrible odor. Pool could've been a little warmer
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- 573jenellc (10/5): Enjoyed my stay the second night - We enjoyed our trip overall. The first night, only to realize that that person at the counter cancelled our reservations and put us in another room that my husband and I slept in different bedrooms within the room. The second night we were accommodated with the room of our choice.
- Leon (7/5): Good -
- Cheanni (7/5): Good -
- _tomnguyen001 (6/5): Solid hotel for its class. Noisy - Solid hotel for the class. Convenient to airport. Noisy though. Shower stall was stained throughout. Had to change to another room as the first one AC did not work. Check-in was efficient and the check-in staff was friendly
- Heidi (8/5): Very good - I loved how the staff accommodated us and got our entire group 4 rooms on the same floor. We really appreciated that.
- T4980ZDmike (2/5): Roaches!!!! Stay Away!!! - Arrived to the hotel late at night after 12 hours of driving. Upon entering the room and turning on the light, roaches scattered everywhere on the countertops. Going back to the front desk, management put me in another room. This second room seemed fine at first except for an odd musty smell (I’ll take this over roaches), but after I took my shoes off I realized the carpet was SOAKING WET!!!! My feet and socks got full of nasty water. Having to complain yet again, I was put in a third room that was above the original roach infested room. The room did not even seem like it was cleaned beforehand. There was crumbs on the carpet, the cabinets were open, and the overall state of the room was in disarray. The fridge contained spoiled yogurt and bananas that were hard as a rock. After settling in and entering the bathroom, I saw yet another roach in the bathroom. However, at this point since it was past midnight, I accepted defeat and laid down in my roach motel bed. The layout of the room was the only redeeming aspect of this hotel, since there are individual bedrooms. However, I advise to STAY AWAY!!!!! I will be checking my suitcase when I get home to make sure there are no roaches in it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Family Time - Spur of the moment family trip since my husband has to work on Father’s Day.
- Jacqueline (4/5): Not that great for the price - It said the lobby was being renovated but it seems like the rooms need some TLC as well. Our shower handle was about to fall off, cabinets stuck and doors were crooked, ceiling paint was peeling in our room. We liked the fact we could get 2 BR but otherwise I probably wiuld not book here again.
- SailorHarry (4/5): Dirty and Worn Out - My first red flag was the hotel had an armed guard in the lobby. I Was only here for one night but wont be back. My room was filthy and had black mold in the bathroom. Garbage was overflowing in the hallways, this place badly needs to be renovated its not up to marriott standards.
- AmyCO1985 (2/5): Unclean, poor maintenance, nightmare stay - I would like to start off by saying the staff were kind because it's very important to have kindness, especially with the experience I had otherwise.
I am moving across the country with two cats and arrived in Oklahoma City two hours later than expected and exhausted.
I arrived at the hotel for a two-night stay. Check-in went smoothly. The girl at the front desk was very nice to me and very professional. Not wearing a mask despite Marriott's commitment to guests that areas of high outbreak will require masking for all. Something is wrong with the elevator and it took four attempts for the door to close. This was never repaired during my stay at the hotel.
I got into my room and found via a cat that there was no front bottom piece to the sink vanity station and when I knelt down to stuff something down there so the cat wouldn't get under there, I saw two dirty socks under it. Ewww. There was also a q-tip under the sheets in the bed; I tried so hard to just not think about it and told myself that it came off the cart. I fell asleep at 9:30pm only to be awakened around 10pm by what sounded like an airplane taking off in the room. It was the fan on the freezer, which I could not unplug because there were medications in the refrigerator. My cats freaked out. I freaked out. I hoped it would turn off in the next 20 minutes and I could call maintenance in the morning. No such luck. At 11:05pm, I texted the front desk in the app. No response. At about 11:20pm, I went down to the front desk and asked if they could schedule maintenance. The new girl at the front desk was very polite and apologetic. Also not wearing a mask. I went back to the room but it appeared to have gotten louder so I called down and had the front desk listen and asked to be switched to another room. I was told I would have to wait for a manager, who would be in around 11:30pm. At 11:50pm, I had heard nothing so I called the front desk. The manager said I could move and could come down and get a key. I go down and it takes about 10 minutes to get the key. Manager was very polite and nice. Also not wearing a mask. No offer to help me move to the new room despite the fact it was the middle of the night and I was in my pajamas and had two upset felines. It took me thirty minutes to get packed up (cats are hard to pack) onto a VERY LOUD luggage cart (which probably pissed off all the other guests). I get to the room and my key DOES NOT WORK. So I had to abandon my two cats and all of my belongings in the hallway of the fourth floor to go downstairs and get help with the key. Another 10 minutes.
I finally get up and into the room. It is a two bedroom suite (unnecessary for me but okay). The carpet trim was coming away from the wall in the living room. The heating vent in one of the bedrooms was broken in the ON position so the entire place was too warm and I had to turn on the air conditioning in the other room and sleep in there. The one room had someone's leftover Cheezits under the bed, which I discovered when I heard one of my cats chewing on them. The room I was in had a moldy old cup of ice cream and dirty spoons under the bed. The floor of the shower was reddish and greyish, like mold and dirt had never been properly cleaned off. The top hinge of the shower door was broken away from the wall and all four screws were no longer attached to anything. I didn't say anything about these things because frankly, I was exhausted and really didn't want to have to move again. It took me until after 4am to get the cats settled down and calm and finally fall asleep.
Around 10am, despite the fact I had the DND sign on the door, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to find housekeeping. I told her I did not need anything. I went and climbed back into bed. Less than 10 minutes later, ANOTHER knock at the door, and this time it was a man from the front desk telling me I was not registered to this room. Neither housekeeping nor this man were wearing masks. I explained the situation and reminded him to have someone look at the fridge in the other room.
I then became concerned about whether I would be able to even leave my room anymore and I called Bonvoy Elite Member Services to get help dealing with the situation. They kept me on the phone for over and hour and I was very upset. So much so that I once told the woman on the phone that perhaps they should just find me a different hotel to stay in.
When I finally checked out the same manager who had moved my room was there and she was very apologetic and asked if I was able to get some sleep finally. I said yes and didn't tell her about the rude awakening I had had.
I'm shocked that a Marriott hotel, no matter what kind, could have these types of errors and cleanliness issues, and in multiple rooms. I had just come from a Towneplace in another state on my way across the country and did not have a single issue at the first one. I would really like for Marriott to figure this out.
- 712trentm (2/5): Dirty! - The bed had hair in it and so did the shower. We were able to change rooms. Checked and one of those beds had hair and stains on sheets. There was a chunk of food on the wall. Rooms smelled bad, we sprayed cologne trying to make smell better.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nothing was nice about this place, its way over priced. The front counter had a can of raid on the floor. The pool was disgusting murky water with some kind of film on it. On top of that I found a scorpion of all things on the wall at the pool. So needless to say I did not sleep well. This place is outdated and dirty. $70 is the most you should pay at a place like this. I do not recommend staying here.
- C3918YJemilyh (2/5): Stay anywhere else!!! - I’ve never left a review before but this is the worst Marriott property I’ve ever experienced!! They honored none of the requests on my reservation. Booked a sofa bed room for 3 with a tub and got a room with no sofa bed, shower stall and enough bathroom towels for one person!! We are allergy sufferers so I stay with Marriott so we can have foam pillows. All of the pillows were feathered. The toilet ran all of the time, the fridge had a broken door handle and sounded like a train and the shower leaked all over the floor. Just a terrible property
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The freezer in the room was so loud we couldn't sleep through it. Front desk person said ok and nothing else when we told her about it. She was also on the phone the whole time I tried to speak with her about it and seemed not interested.
- Tamara (10/5): - Great stay
- juanp197 (4/5): filthy and no maintainance - we stayed here for 2 nights, staff was regular non caring... the room was too cold a pair of dirty boots were left at the guardrobe, the blankets smell of dust was unberable. I thin covid tells you to take care of few aspects but is never a reason to be lazy
- LISA (10/5): Excellent Hotel!!! - We were thoroughly impressed with our room & the hotel.
Very comfortable, roomy & exceeded every expectation. The kitchenette was wonderful. The bed was super comfy & the shower was huge!
The staff was friendly & informative. Hotel was quiet & located far enough away from the highway that you didn't hear any noise at all.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It’s was clean but ac thermostats was broken, tv remote was missing in one bedroom, and beds were a little hard
- Punkybeliever (6/5): Filthy room and difficult door - We reserved two rooms for our family. In one room, we found that the shower was dirty, food crumbs were on the floor, and a child's dirty handprints were all over the tv screen. I usually let minor things go, even though you want an immaculate room when paying. This was the dirtiest room in an otherwise nice hotel I have ever seen.
The other room's door was so difficult to open that an elderly or physically challenged person might not have been able to exit during an emergency.
- FELIX (10/5): A good getaway - The accommodations were excellent the person that checked us in cared enough to check on the room cleanliness before we were books or signed to that room
- Ron L. (10/5): Very Nice Place - The room was clean and we got a nice upgrade to a small suite. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were excellent.
- Emily (8/5): Home away from home - The place was very nice and clean. Stafff was friendly and very informative
- Sarah (4/5): - The people were friendly, but the room was poorly stocked, the breakfast was lame compared to other places I’ve stayed. The laundry had no way to purchase detergent or even get change for the machines. They missed the housekeeping service once. Big disappointment for a Marriott hotel. In fact I was shocked at the poor condition. It’s evident that this property is in trouble.
- sarahnL3148IY (4/5): Usually towneplace is awesome - So I stayed for a week. The employees were all really nice! However, it is apparent that there are problems at this property. I really appreciate breakfast that is included with the room. The breakfast here was LAME! All they had was three kinds of dry cereal, granola bars, bananas, milk and yoghurt. I was expecting at least a bit more. All of the machines for waffles and other hot breakfast foods were there, but no food. The room was okay, but it was poorly stocked-no cup for coffee, one plate, no washcloths. They did not service the room one day. Big disappointment from the Marriott brand
- Laurie (2/5): RODENT INFESTATION! BEWARE! - Checked in early which was great, front desk women are super kind and helpful but first room had no AC, Sunday check in and no maintenance people on duty, moved to 2nd room toilet was backed up, 3rd room was infested with rats...truthfully apparently the whole hotel is! They were EVERYWHERE! One even crawled on to the sofa in our room while we were sitting on it! Running through the hallways and in our rooms DISGUSTING! Board of health has been notified!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Each person in our group had a negative experience. They ranged from leaky showers and toilets to rodents and bedbugs in rooms, and soiled adult diapers piled in the hallway.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The young lady that checked us in was awesome! Great customer service. She was helpful in getting us checked in and moving us to a cleaner room immediately! She even offered to clean the room herself!
The hotel seemed fairly new but already worn out and dirty. The furniture was stained and things all over the room were broken. For the price I would definitely choose one of the other hotels in the surrounding area.
- Tramaine (10/5): Owner - Been great
Location very nice
- Ashley (10/5): TownePlace Suites - The room was nice and the staff was very friendly.
- Bryson (8/5): Towneplace - Customer service was great. Room was clean, staff was courteous and friendly.
- Mike (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Late check out was a plus
- Karen (10/5): - The stay here was amazing. Just be sure to check your statements my room was charged twice and I’m currently dealing with that now.
- LeCrasasa (10/5): I’m picky pleaser - I could complain. Customer Service was pleasing. Room was quite and breakfast was appropriate. Had the 2bedroom suite. Nice room. Enjoyed the stay Only pool no jacuzzi. Will book again. Lady at front desk Kay and Alice at night wonderful customer service.
- Terri (10/5): I’d stay again - We had a great experience here. The hotel was clean and the staff were very nice.
- JonnyBlaze777 (6/5): Lousy Room Cleaning, Room Falling Apart - The hotel offers a free shuttle and arrived 13 minutes after I called. The ride back took about 12 minutes. The hotel is close to a bunch of others as well as some restaurants.
ROOM (#114)
The room was cleaned horribly. It still appeared dirty. There were hairs on the sink, toilet, and shower. The toilet flush handle fell off and you would have to put it back in a hold it in the correct potion to flush it. The toilet paper holder kept falling off the vanity. I opened the microwave and there was a waffle inside with a of syrup and peanut butter. There were cups and silverware left in the dishwasher that were never cleaned. The whole room showed much wear and use.
The room had a king bed with 2 night stands/dresser drawers, pullout sofa with ottoman and table, desk and chair, TV, clock, multiple storage cabinets, full fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, stovetop, sink, dishes/cups/silverware/pots/pans, coffee maker, toaster, large closet with hangers and shelves, and an iron and board. There was NO SAFE for valuables. There were no USB outlets, but had about 16 regular outlets. The HVAC was okay.
BATHROOM
As stated above the bathroom was not clean and was falling apart. There was a toilet, sink, bathtub/shower combination, hairdryer, and 2 outlets for electronics.
BREAKFAST
For breakfast, they had pre-made cheese omelets, fried eggs, sausage, cereals, yogurts, breads/bagels/muffins, oatmeal, and make your own waffle.

The shuttle is free and efficient and the breakfast was free and tasty. The room is another story. That was the probably the dirtiest and dilapidated room I’ve been at in terms of Marriott properties (and I stay a lot as I have Ambassador status with Marriott). I stayed here years ago and it was nothing like this. I’m still giving it 3 stars because the front desk lady was nice, and they have a free shuttle and a decent free breakfast. I would like to stay here again in the future but I would have to weigh my options and know some changes have been made.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This hotel was the worst I’ve ever stayed. The room was not even cleaned. They never changed out the bedding as there was literally pubic hairs and body fluid all over the sheets. The soaps were not changed out, never was vacuumed and tables, sofas and countertops were dirty. There excuse was they were so busy and understaffed. This hotel should be shut down by the health department as it was absolutely discusting!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Decent Stay - Guy at front desk was nice, was well received. Room was Ok, but smelled like a dogs room and the sheets were wrinkled. but was only there for one night passing through so its a decent stay. Breakfast was good on the way out. Would recommend.
- TamiekoB (8/5): Only issue; internet - Nice hotel. The improvements are forthcoming. Great customer service from Anthony. I had a 2 bedroom suite and this was perfect for 3 single adults. The internet was horrible but outside of the internet it was a good experience. Location was awesome, close to everything. The halls were quiet and I was there Christmas Eve & day.
I foresee the internet being fixed so I highly recommend this hotel
- Amanda (8/5): Great Hotel! - Got there on a cold night and the welcome was very warm! The first person I met was very polite! Room was clean and comfortable! Looking forward to staying here again!
- VernessaCarr (10/5): - Jason was very kind and courteous very professional
- Dale D. (10/5): Neat and lean9 - Could have you some more utensils if you plan on cooking. No sharp knives and large metal spoons would be nice.
- Staci (2/5): Incompetent front desk - We wanted to take our kids to six flags which was closing af 11 pm so we went and checked in first before going to the theme park. Check in went like normal but when we got back after six flags closed our room keys had been deactivated. I went back to the front desk and they said that my card didn't go through. I informed the lady that we paid for the room weeks before and at check in the card had went through for the $50 hold. She said, "well, I will be at your room at 7 and we will figure it out then." The next morning I logged into my back account and went to the front counter. My card had been ran three times (twice without my knowledge). Instead of a $50 hold the total for the "holds" were $160. So one night at this hotel ended up costing us $335. (Still waiting on the $160 to be refunded)
- Steven (2/5): Security up your ass - Absolutely unprofessional security guards on premises.
- stanrock01 (4/5): Poor Maintenance -- Not worthy of Marriott Brand - I liked the look of this hotel and decided to stay here for my 2 week stay. Overall the rooms are nicely laid out and the beds are reasonably comfortable.
The lack of maintenance what soured me on the place. The kitchen disposal didn't work and I have called twice to get it fixed without anyone showing up. Because the disposal is out, the sink doesn't drain and other people's food was in there rotting smelling like dirty socks.
The sink in the bathroom had low water pressure. Maintenance took two days to fix and just removed the aerator, which caused water to spray everywhere..and that was their final fix.
Housekeeping did a good job and the place was clean. The front desk people were not friendly...something is going on between management and staff.
Don't recommend.
- Kamabuki (6/5): Disapponted - My stay here was just OK. I was hoping since it was a new hotel it would have been better. Several lights in my room were burned out. The 32" television in the living room was just as small as the bedroom TV. One of the drawers in the vanity in the bathroom was broken. No daily paper provided in lobby even though their web site states there are "newspaper in lobby". Called early on the day of arrival and requested as a "Platinum Plus Member" a room on the top floor. Upon arrival I was given a room on a mid floor. Will look elsewhere on my next return business trip.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We stayed in the two bedroom suite. The kitchen was lovely the stove even had an oven. Everything you needed to cook a meal. The beds were comfortable our viewers of the river it was nice. The only stuff that we encountered was the front desk. Both girls were absolutely wonderful. Very friendly I would recommend this place to anyone.
- benjamin (10/5): - Great stay , definitely will consider again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - New and spacious, parking area was secure and very well lit
- brandys530 (6/5): I will NEVER stay here again nor will any of my friends or family - I am a frequent Marriott hotel guest. I have 3 children that are all in sports and we travel out of time almost every weekend. My sister is a general manager at a Marriott property and we get a special rate. I print out a form each time we stay at a different hotel and have NEVER had any issues until We met the general manger at this property. 1st at check in - he didn't even ask me for the form but I gave it to him anyways because I know that is protocol, he immediately looked at it and told me my form was not valid. He said it didn't have a GM signature on it below(1st time I ever heard that) then he said he had to call the property to ensure my form was valid. We had been traveling with 3 kids and I was furious but still polite. After going to the back for less than 5 seconds he comes back and tells me to calm down that the form is valid but he had to check because people have been using these forms(which you can only get from an employee) and destroying and stealing stuff from the room. Like he couldn't clearly see my daughter dressed in Soccer gear! He also made a copy of my drivers license which has never been done before and as we walked off he actually took out his phone and took a picture of the copy he made with his phone. I felt so belittled and humiliated in front of my kids that he took me thru all this hassle for no apparent reason. I don't like to use the word racially profiled but I was defiantly stereo typed due to the fact that we were a black family. What was the need to take a picture of my license or even make a copy of it. What was the need to immediately reject my special form and give me some BS reasoning for it. The room was clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable. We frequent Oklahoma city very often and this hotel has a lot to offer but due to the general manger at this hotel I will never stay at this hotel again.
