- Dennis (3/5): - Locations was great Room was dirty ask the staff about it and was told no cleaning person show up
- Nora (10/5): - We spent two nights & had no issues during our stay. The staff was friendly & helpful. The breakfast had several food options & the coffee never ran out. Our room was clean & quiet. We stayed at six other motels/inns during our road trip but this Comfort Inn was our favorite stay!
- kathy (4/5): - Not much . The cleaner made the smell worse
- Williams (9/5): Awesome - Everything from the time I checked in till the time I left.i haven't slept that good in a very long time. Na
- Pamela (10/5): - Great breakfast
- James (10/5): - Clerk was very friendly and check in was quick
- Robert (10/5): - We were greeted by a very polite and friendly young man and were offered a complimentary bottle of water while we waited. We were also informed that the hotel had a complimentary meal of orange chicken and rice available. Our room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. We met the manager several times and every time he asked us if there was any thing that we needed. It was our first time staying at this property and will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area.
- Jeff (10/5): - Very friendly and clean.
- William (8/5): -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The room was clean and spacious. The lobby and elevator had a strange odor however. It was a little awkward to turn into the road that the hotel was on, but the road outside the hotel was quiet once you got there. The breakfast was good with both hot and cold options. The one morning there were cheese omelets that were good. The next day was scrambled eggs. Both mornings had potatoes and bacon.
- Lester (8/5): Fine - It was fine, Standard stuff. Nothing I can think of.
- Mary (10/5): Watford City hotel - This is the first time that I have stayed in this hotel in WC. I was impressed at how nice it was!!!
- Jeanine (8/5): -
- Jeff (10/5): Good option for visitors to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. - Convenient location for visitors to Roosevelt National Park. The location and hotel are both very quiet.
- Oksana (8/5): - Чистота, смачний сніданок Не привітний персонал
- Todd (5/5): Room was clean and everything worked inside. Staff were all friendly - Things were all good except for check out The wrong price they charged at check out
- Mellal (4/5): Room is clean and comfortable, staff is kind of lost. - The property is clean and in a decent location. They offer breakfast and dinner (weekdays.) There are signs saying they clean rooms after three nights and they didn’t. I booked through Booking.com and they insisted I hadn’t prepaid - even though I showed them I had. They charged my card, emptying my account for the first days of our trip, leaving us without money for necessities. When my paycheck hit my account, I moved my money to another account. Which was good because they repeatedly tried to charge me again. Then on our last day they entered the room without warning, saying that we were scheduled to check out that day (we weren’t). They cancelled our keys while we went out for lunch.
THEN when we checked out they told me I owed a balance of over $400!!
The manager offered discounted rates for our drive home as compensation, which was better than nothing, but all in all this place needs a serious policy and procedure review.
- Jeff (10/5): - Clean and comfortable, easy to get to.
- James (10/5): - This was a nice property with friendly staff. There is a bbq and outdoor area that is used frequently. Breakfast was good and surprisingly very quiet.

- Edward (10/5): - Nice and clean,quietroom
- Grant (5/5): Passable - The breakfast was not very good at all. The ham was shriveled and the omelets had pepper chunks and not everyone likes pepper chunks.
Also, the hotels is VERY, VERY difficult to find, even with GPS!!!!
- Stephen (10/5): - All good

- Larry (10/5): Would stay again - Gre a t breakfast
- Steve (10/5): - Updated and clean
- lauren (4/5): - So clean and comfy beds. I had problems at check in, the front desk employee was rude, didn’t explain anything, told me my payment was declined but gave no explanation, I showed her that the payment came out of my account & she just shrugged her shoulders. Went to my room & my key cards didn’t work, three separate times I had to go ask for a new key card.
- Catherine (10/5): Nice lower priced hotel. Good value. - Very clean and very quiet. Breakfast was a good selection. The breakfast room bright and very clean.
A bit hard to get into the hotel off the Main Street but will improve once construction done.
Staff very friendly.
- LeAnn (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay! The property was very clean, room was a comfortable size and checkin was pleasant and easy!
- Erik (8/5): - Great value
- Loretta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelley (8/5): - no room safe. No fruit offered with breakfast. dirt and gravel bumpy road leading to and from hotel.
- Kori (7/5): Good -
- Marilyn (2/5): - I have stayed at a lot of Comfort Inns and this motel was the worst.
- Holly (10/5): - Disappointing that there wasn’t a pool, my daughter was frustrated. Room was spacious, clean. My daughter enjoyed the pull out couch. Breakfast was great, loved that they had lemon water at all times. Check in was fine, receptionist wasn’t able to change the credit card we had on file and was supposed to have someone call us which never happened, but were able to get it fixed at check out.
- James (10/5): - Great again
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great hotel, great staff. Extra touches: boot covers for muddy boots; cookies, candy too, oh my!
- Edna (10/5): - Very clean and pleasant welcome when registering.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Staff`was welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast area was very clean with the staff constantly cleaning and replenishing items.
- Wambli (8/5): Very good -
- Kristie (10/5): - It was a nice motel for what we needed. Staff was very polite and they were very professional. Check in was prompt.
- Grant (1/5): It was the worst hotel experience that we have had in years and it was GROSSLY over-priced!!! - The breakfast was fine.
The location of the hotel is VERY difficult to fine, hard to locate even on GPS, and there was no signage to help direct to the hotel. Location. Difficult to fine.
There was no shower curtain. The only way to get the TV to work was with two remotes that did different things. The thermostat was difficult to figure out. There was also no tissues.
- Lewis (8/5): It was good for one night. No major complaints. - Clean, comfortable. No sounds from hallway, etc. Shower head wouldn’t adjust to different spray. One check-in person was flustered and rude when asked a question. The male was great! Too bad the road in front is not paved.
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandra (10/5): - It was hard to get to because of road construction. But great location close to the TRNP. Very nice room and breakfast.
- Ching-chong (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (10/5): - Staff were very friendly and room was excellent

- Verified traveler (8/5): Pleasant - Pleasant
- Cheng (10/5): very pleasant - clean and comfortable
- Jazmyn (10/5): Exceptional - I was on the first floor right near the parking lot so I had a lot of headlights coming into the window in the dark.
- Anonymous (5/5): good but deff wish that wouldn’t have happened - clean and nice the door died and my husband was locked out at 3am and nobody even management couldn’t e
- Kenneth (10/5): - Beautiful hotel with great amenities.
- Steven (10/5): - The staff is very professional and that reflects in the motel. The motel was spotless the rooms were clean and well kept. The beds were extremely comfortable, the towels were the softest I ever had in a motel. The breakfasts had a very nice variety to choose from. I would highly recommend this motel and will not hesitate to stay there again.
- Kathy (10/5): - Very clean, great breakfast nice rooms
- Val (10/5): - Hotel was great. Breakfast was a bit week.
- Marcus (10/5): - A good value.
- Terry (6/5): - Property clean. Took for ever to get checked in.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall nice place to stop after a day at the park. Room was clean but very fragrant. Free breakfast in the morning, however wasn't really maintained (i.e. only spoons (no forks or knifes), no syrup for waffles, maybe there was supposed to be hot food? heating tray with nothing in it. Nobody tended to the area the entire time i was there. I guess to be expected with free breakfast :)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very helpful & friendly staff. Very comfortable place after a long & tiring ride(motorcyle) in the rain.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Modern, clean, friendly staff. Coffee bar was nice but even the bold coffee was weak. We left too early both day due to plans so can’t review the meal but I was told they do have hot breakfast (post covid)
- Dyana (8/5): Paper thin Walls or LOUD neighbors. - Other than the rooms are not sound proof and we had to call the front desk at 1 AM to have the get our neighbor to turn off his LOUD tv....our only other complaint would be that housekeeping comes around early.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The attendant was nice chatty young lady even at the later hour of arrival and the room was clean quiet and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff was fantastic. Friendly and attentive. Always available.
- Melinda (8/5): - Great place to stay
- Karla (10/5): - Very clean. Friendly staff. Great breakfast with many options
- Scott (10/5): Excellent - Nice, clean, comfortable and brakfast host was very friendly and personable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We were really impressed with our room very comfortable and cooking and eating utensils included for convenience to prepare our own meals 👍👍👍
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was amazing. The staff was great the room was clean and comfy. They did an amazing job during this covid thing to keep guests comfortable. Very happy and I would stay here again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Elevator broke at least the moves is to first floor during trip!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amenities were great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast selection was very good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Hard to get to hotel. - Room was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Hotel is difficult to find on a side road with limited access.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Would have liked to had a hot tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Facility was well maintained.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Super friendly staff, helpful and great to visit with. Very easy going and nice, food people.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The night person refused to confront a noisy person at 10:30 and 11:00 p.m. I therefore did not get sleep as had hoped.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean, comfy beds, quiet and very nice staff.
- Jacob (4/5): Not the absolute worst choice in Watford - upper floors smell heavily of cigarettes, and I don't mean intermittently..
cream cheese stored off temperature and was somehow hot to the touch 2 fine mornings in a row (bagel size spread packets)..
staff is generally friendly, but at least one can't handle questions about vacancy, like somehow we can know, and also this one doesn't like the natural follow up question about being placed on a list (they don't do that and you are supposed to be familiar with their unique policy)...
welders actively weld various projects in the parking lot which honestly makes me smile, these are real people and they cook outside and drink and get along ...
I haven't tried the free soup happy hour but only because I eat low carb, I spied a chili made there (smelled amazing btw) and I could tell that no local made it so it could be some of the best food in town and likely 10 times safer for your gut
- Verified traveler (6/5): Clean and friendly, but... - Staff is friendly and room as clean, however the guest in the adjoining room as smoking in the stairwell, hallway and his room. Front desk did nothing, and we were left to smell cigarette smoke all evening. Additionally, having to have the keycard reprogrammed everyday was annoying.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good Stay - Room was clean and comfortable and all staff was friendly.
- Greg (10/5): Nice place. - Everything was good including price for what you got. Will book there again when visiting family.
- Jordon (8/5): - Stairways and halls were a little dirty but that’s to be expected in a Bakken hotel in the muddy season, they do provide boot covers to try to prevent excess mud. Otherwise it was very clean
- Verified traveler (6/5): - They stopped serving hot breakfast 1.5 hours before the end of breakfast time
