The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was cozy, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The location is excellent, close to shops, restaurants, yet still quiet and peaceful at night. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and the welcoming atmosphere. Everything exceeded our expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay!

• Cynthia (8/5): Lovely time and a good rest! - The breakfast was amazing! The location and staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful. My bed was super comfortable and I liked the bathroom amenities and products. The AC didn’t work so the room was hot all night. The hot tub was good, but there were no towels for the sauna/hot tub. It was Valentine’s weekend, so I understand to an extent, but it was much pricier than I was expecting.

• Bernadette (8/5): Very good stay. - Quiet place, big gym, lovely staff, fridge and microwave in room. Firm bed, low pillows available, responsive heating system. Sadly, I didn't have time for the sauna, which I really wanted to use. The breakfast was rudimentary, which dropped my rating to go from 9 to 8. Weird toilet pressure caused the toilet to "burp" and actually spit water drops out as it flushed sometimes.

• Lorraine (3/5): We managed, but we won’t be returning to stay again. - Convenient to where we needed to go. The bed was clean and comfortable. The room was warm but the hallway and other areas, the breakfast room, and exercise room for example were cold. The handicapped parking spots had not been cleaned and there was a big pile of snow to push the walker through, which was very hard. I had to lift it to try and get it on the sidewalk which was cleared of snow. The fridge in the room froze all our yogurt and it had to be thrown away. Also the lasagna we ordered in froze and had to be thrown away. When we complained the repair man came in and turned the fridge down, which we couldn’t do because the dial for the control was broken and not there. When we used the shower, the curtains didn’t come all the way to the floor, and the water flowed out all over the rest of the bathroom. We had a handicapped room as requested. There were handrails for the toilet, however the toilet itself was so low to the ground it was extremely hard to bend and sit on. Most handicapped places the toilet is a taller raised one. If I was in a wheelchair, it would have been unusable.

• Mackenzie (7/5): Good Stay for Small Town Blackfalds! - For a small property in a small town this place packs a punch! With a sauna and hot tub on property plus continental breakfast - you really can't go wrong. Close by to a few different restaurants, convenience stores, pizza places and a grocery store, you are able to grab whatever you need. The room was small and for a newer property did seem to have a lot of cosmetic damage. You can tell that the "small town hockey teams" frequent the hotel. While we were staying there was quite a ruckus in the lobby with a hockey team and parents drinking and being loud - but other than that, inside the room you can't hear them.

We did find the noise seemed to travel through the hotel a little more then what we are used to. We had requested a room close to the hot tub which they were able to accomodate. However be aware that it put the tim hortons drive through right outside our window with the loud trucks first thing in the morning. But overall we had a great stay.

• Lorne (8/5): - There is a funky bathroom mirror that can be adjusted in many ways. It protrudes out a from the glass and your head is against when you bend over to shave. The pillows were very hard. Give guests a choice. The toilet is low flush and does not use sufficient water. It was gross. The staff were amazing and helpful. The breakfast was good enough. We arrived at 3 PM and our room was just getting cleaned and we had a short wait. Late checkouts I think
