- Dave (10/5): Een ware parel, waar luxe en gastvrijheid hoogtij vieren. - De service en gastvrijheid is ronduit fantastisch. Een warm welkom met een drankje met korte uitleg. De kamers zijn geweldig, ruim, heerlijke badkamer, het straalt luxe uit. Tot in de kleine details merk je dat hier voor je gezorgd wordt en dat je gewaardeerd wordt als klant. Er is werkelijk niets wat op te merken is aan deze accommodatie.

The impeccably clean, luxurious, and spacious bedroom and bathroom truly stand out. The creative breakfast basket was a delightful and unique touch—something I’ve never experienced before. The beautifully landscaped gardens, filled with a variety of plants and flowers, add to the charm. The host was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, even when I accidentally misplaced my room key and had to wake him at dawn to open the gate. A truly memorable stay! Located in a residential neighborhood, the property offers limited opportunities for walking or outdoor activities on-site. Additionally, the pool is situated directly in front of the rooms, which may not be ideal for those seeking more privacy.

Bequeme Betten, perfekt sauber, grosses Bad, sehr gute Lage in schönem und ruhigem Quartier. Gut gelegen um viele Orte in der Kapregion zu besuchen. Richard hat viele gute Tips, was zu besuchen und wo zu essen und bemüht sich sehr um seine Gäste. Der Pool ist perfekt sauber und das Frühstück im Garten ist wunderbar.

The rooms are beautifully decorated. The glass house where we worked and had breakfast was so quaint and comfortable. The views from there are lovely. Richard and Bart, our hosts, made the stay very memorable and special. They are so professional and welcoming and do everything with excellence. Cape Vermeer will definitely be our go-to place when we stay in that part of the Cape.

He took a personal interest in our enjoyment and satisfaction at the property. The breakfast was outstanding in every respect, with care and attention to the provision of fresh ingredients and freshly cooked dishes. The bed comfort is superior with mattresses that provided excellent support and comfort. Finally, the setting is wonderful with views over False Bay and the Heldeberg Mountain. What more could you ask for.....! We have visited Somerset West for over 20 years and this is by far the best accomodation experience we have enjoyed. We will certainly return. Nothing!

- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional - The room was absolutely gorgeous and had everything you could possibly need. Richard and all of the team are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best we've ever had - freshly cooked and baked goodies every morning and kindly adapted to suit any dietary requirements. The pool area is lovely and we often had it to ourselves during the day. There's some great wine estates within a short drive as well.

Starting with the beautiful location in serene surroundings and luxurious and comfortable room (with attention to every detail). Furthermore, Richard was an amazing host; very customer friendly and helpful, really top notch! But his staff was also very friendly, with Blessing standing out the most. What a hardworking and cheerful man, he put a smile on your face every time. And last but not least the super tasty breakfast, with lots of fresh products and delicious egg dishes, made by Richard himself. In short, an absolute must! Do not hesitate but do it! Nothing.

The owners, Richard and Bart, could not do enough for us and were always available to attend to any issues we had, however small. Not that there were many. All in all it was one of the best stays we have experienced for years. We shall return!

- Susanne (10/5): Neues Apartment mit Traumblick - Cape Vermeer hat modern eingerichtete Apartments mit einem Traumblick auf die False Bay. Die Räume sind modern und mit allem technischen Komfort ausgestattet. Klimanlage, TV, Kaffeemaschine sowie eine wunderbare Dusche tragen zum Wohlgefühl bei. Der Garten ist top gepflegt und man kann dort wunderbar sitzen und den Ausblick genießen. Die Betreuung durch den Besitzer und Carine ist sehr persönlich und angenehm. Das Haus steht in einer sehr guten Wohngegend von Somerset West. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort Urlaub machen.
- Maria (10/5): Very cosy, amazing views! - This place is amazing! The views are spectacular, the interior is great, the bed was super comfortable and the staff were very friendly. We had our own mini kitchen, which was perfect for the one night that we didn't want to go to a restaurant. The stay also included vouchers for breakfast at a restaurant nearby, and that place was awesome as well, serving delicious eggs Benedict. The only downside of Cape Vermeer is that you need your own car (which we had), because nothing will be within walking distance. It is a perfect location for driving to Cape Town, Gordon's Bay or Stellenbosch. We highly recommend staying at Cape Vermeer!
