The location is on a hill in the woods and has the perfect ambiance. It’s a 40-minute drive from Yellowstone’s West Entrance, so a little far, but the cabin more than makes up for it. Very clean.

We stayed in the little cabin and it has a great view. The bed was a little uncomfortable but not terrible.
• Shawnee (10/5): Peaceful get away, will definitely be back! - It was off the main road several miles. There were no ATV’s allowed so it was very peaceful. They had a swimming pond with a trampoline in the pond and paddle boards to use. There was also a fishing pond and horseback riding. Nice, quiet, secluded area. My only complaint would be the chlorine level in the hot tub, it was a bit strong, other than that it was an amazing stay. We will be back!

• Manuela (8/5): Very good - Location is remote but that is what we liked! We visited Yellowstone while we were there (40 minutes drive to West gate) and enjoyed the quietness of the ranch after the bustle at the park every day. Loved the hot tub!
• Verified traveler (10/5): Beyond expectations! - The cabin was way bigger and better equipped than we expected, and the hot tub, grill and private firepit just made the whole experience a luxury (to us campers). At check-in, everything was explained in the envelope with the key. We all LOVED the lake with paddleboats, canoes, paddleboards and even the great "rope" swing! Life vests were already available, chairs were abundant, shade was provided, and it was a blast. Having the horseback rides available on site was a huge benefit, and they were wonderful. We only wish we would've seen on the website that certain activities (like archery) wouldn't be available on Sunday, and we could've made other plans. (we found out from a note on the office door.) But no matter - The location is an outdoor-lover's dream, and the visits by deer, fawn, and elk were such a sweet bonus! I reluctantly recommend E.R.R. even though it's AMAZING... I'm afraid it will become too crowded when word spreads!

• Steve (10/5): It was great! It was perfect for our family. - The cabins were clean, the hot tub warm, the lake had lots of options and the fishing lake had large fish. The staff was friendly and we did every activity available. Horseback riding, archery, fishing, swimming, row boat, canoe It was hard to breath while in the hot tub. The chemicals put off a gas that don't smell, but made me cough and a little hard to breath.

• Lindsay (10/5): - I won’t lie, I booked a cabin and then went back to look at reviews and was slightly nervous. We were greatly with a warm smile from Susan and her daughter or granddaughter at the main office. She explained things thoroughly and as we were driving to our cabin- we contemplated adding on a day. There’s tons to do —fish, horseback ride, swim (slide and trampoline), paddle boats, archery and so much more. We will definitely be back. There’s a living room, an eat-in kitchen, a stovetop, mini fridge, full sink, in the kitchen so I recommend bringing food. There’s not much around food wise. There’s a hot tub and propane grill on the porch. The hot tub was clean and so warm for these summer days that cool off quickly. It’s glorious.

There is a hot tub & barbecue on the deck which adds to the view because you can enjoy dinner there (there is a supermarket about 15-20 min drive) Cabin is cozy, clean and it has all the amenities you need However the cherry on top and the main reason this works so well are the hosts! We stayed in Family Cabin #1, which was the ideal retreat for our getaway. Nestled away from the bustling crowds of Yellowstone, the property felt like our own personal oasis—a true mini-vacation. We visited during the second weekend in October, and it was purely delightful, surpassing all our expectations. The cherry on top was having our own hot tub right on the porch; it was absolutely fantastic! We took full advantage of it, soaking under the stars and enjoying the crisp evening air. The serene surroundings and cozy ambiance were just what we needed to unwind. We are already looking forward to returning and are eager to explore all that this beautiful property has to offer! While the heater in the cabin was appreciated, my son had never been around that type of heater and felt like he was having a headache from that.

Room was equipped with all necessities, hot tub was great to relax after a long day at the Yellowstone park. Privacy and relaxation pure. I can highly recommend!

• Kris (10/5): The ranch's cozy cabin, peaceful setting, friendly owner, and convenient location near Yellowstone made for a relaxi - We stayed in the Little Cabin: - Charming and Cozy Cabin: The cabin was comfortable, well-maintained, and had a warm, rustic charm perfect for a relaxing getaway. - Friendly and Helpful Owner:The owner was incredibly welcoming, offering helpful tips and always available to assist with any needs or questions. - Peaceful and Quiet:The location provided a serene and tranquil environment, ideal for disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of daily life. - Reliable Wi-Fi: Despite being in a remote area, the cabin had reliable Wi-Fi, which was a pleasant surprise for staying connected. - Beautiful Natural Setting:Surrounded by nature, the ranch offered scenic views and outdoor activities, making it a perfect retreat for nature lovers. - Excellent Hospitality:The personal attention and care from the owner made the stay feel warm and inviting. - Perfect for Relaxation:Whether enjoying the peaceful surroundings or sitting by the cabin, the ranch was a wonderful place to unwind and recharge. - Perfect location: 40min from Yellowstone or just get to know the locals at the local bars. Everything you need is within 15min max
• Annette (7/5): Okay- needed more planning on our part I guess- more like an Air B&B - The personal hot tub, being in the woods, the shower was good, WiFi was strong, good Roku TV I booked with 2 beds one twin and one queen but didn’t realize the twin was a roll away as that wasn’t clear from photos it was super uncomfortable. The hot tub didn’t get hot enough. The neighbor left their porch light on all night so we couldn’t really enjoy the dark skies and stars but that’s not anything the place could control. Also this is more like an Air B&B and we didn’t have shampoo with us because we have been in hotels and it ran out so we had to use some bar soap We had with us from the last hotel for everything in the shower.
