The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, making it perfect for both short and long stays. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit, always ready to assist with any requests. The location is strategic, with easy access to restaurants and main roads. Facilities such as the swimming pool and gym were also well kept. - Nasrin (4/5): Not worth the money spent..Able to stay for those 3 nites merely because we just accepted its condition. But we will not - Cozy environment; spacious apartment; friendly staff both at reception and restaurant Stayed in 3 bedroom apartment. 1. Apartment is not well kept- furniture fittings looks old and outdated.. a) the airconds are very old and not well maintain..noticed that living room aircond got water dripping and the remote control is not functioning well too ( can only switch on/off) b) shower in bathroom is also quite old .. not thoroughly clean..likewise with toilet. In the master bedroom’s bathroom, there’s stagnant water on the floor.. could not drained out properly! c) Towels are provided but are also quite “ old”.. the colour is no longer white 🤭🥴 2) No carpets in bedrooms. Not that comfortable especially when we want to place our praying mat for solat… 😢 3) Kitchen equipment also looks like it has been there for many2 years.. don’t think we could use it.. had to clean the hanger first before we could use it! Very dirty! 4. This apartment unit really need to be thoroughly clean..especially the middle bedroom! Had reported those issues at the front office which they promply acted on it.. ie.. got the cleaner to clean the apartment properly. However the issues on stagnant water, old towels, airconds remained. Hotel owner need to really look into these matters ASAP..

- Hiroshi (8/5): - 部屋の窓にカギ（ロック）が無く完全に閉める事が出来ないので外の騒音が入って来る。 風が強いと窓を閉めてあっても隙間が大きくなり外の騒音がかなりの音で聞こえて早朝のお祈りの音で起こされた。ロックはちゃんと着けて欲しい。 あと自分は固定のシャワーが嫌いなのでそれはちょっと困る。 スタッフ等 この2点以外は特に問題有りません。

The bathroom and the toilet are dated. Could use major renovations . The are of the hotel is ok, with a lot of restaurants and good food around. Overall, Would need to improve its services and be better hospitality

- David (2/5): Poor facilities in isolated location - Helpful, friendly staff who agreed to refund the remainder of my stay after I decided to move out early because hotel was so disappointing. Comfortable room with TV accessible for HDMI. Lukewarm water in bathtub, the reason I booked in the first place. Property is miles from the nearest convenience store and restaurants, and most nights the restaurant in the hotel was closed, so you can only eat food on a low table in the smoke-filled bar. There is no shop in the hotel, so even drinking water must be delivered by taxi.

- The_Bored_Traveler (8/5): A nice hotel in Surabaya. - We stayed here, because my brother in law chose it, and it was a good choice. The staff was friendly and professional, the rooms looked great, the bathroom was clean, however, a few pieces of the ceramic tiles were loose, and the shower system could use some repairs. Only the rooms and hallway had a bit of an odd smell, the same as entering the hall of the hotel. During breakfast, you have a lot of choices with food and drinks. The bar: the 3D foam on the cappucino really looks nice. The swimming pool: nice and clean. Next time when I visit Surabaya I will certainly choose this hotel, even with its minor flaws.

Verwood hotel located in the very strategic area which near to toll, restaurant, public facility, etc. Guest only need to walk less than 5 mins to reach many restaurant around there : Warung Sederhana (Padang Restaurant), Ayam Bakar Prima Rasa, Boncafe, etc. This hotel divided into hotel and apartment. I stayed in the hotel because it already been renovated. Room Spacious enough and covered by carpet. Completed by sofa, desk, and chair, and also other amenities : mini refrigerator, TV, coffee/tea maker. This room looks like already being renovated. Bathroom Bathtub and shower is not separated. Need to pay more attention on the cleanness. Amenities was complete Pool I was asking for swim towel to reception, but they said that I can use towel in my room and they could change it if I want. No staff on the pool. Breakfast Standard variant menu for 4 star hotel : Indonesian menu, omelette, noodle, salad, dessert. We were waiting for several minutes to have fried rice while being refilled. Only less staff standby on the restaurant. Overall this is a good hotel because of their location. But, because this is not a new hotel, they need to have good maintenance to ensure that all facilities in a good condition.

We got the chance to relax and enjoy the times though that time was still on Covid-19 situation we didn't go anywhere. Especially my husband enjoyed the whole lazy day. The room is clean, bedroom is comfy, housewares are complete, bathroom is ok. Breakfast was fine though not much meal variations to take. Hopefully I can stay there again another time.

- winerhays (2/5): Just the worst - I’m not sure why people give 5 rate for this hotel. We specifically asked for a non-smoking room, but they sent us to a smoking floor with smoking room. Despite the cigarette strong smell, and the ashtray on the table, the bellboy argued that it was a non-smoking room. We demanded to change room, which was not an easy breezy. The bellboy asked the front desk and said that there were no other rooms available, and still arguing that it was a non-smoking room. We called the front desk and said that we want our money back if they couldn’t give us a non-smoking room. And it turned out there was a room available, magically. It was not a good experience for our first impression. The next day, we went out to get brunch in the city, and returned after a couple of hours, and the ‘Please Make up Room’ indicator light was still on. And yes, they haven’t made up the room. So we called the housekeeping to clean our room. We then went to the swimming pool to get chill, under the assumption that the room was being cleaned. After 2 hours we went back to the room. And yes, they haven’t made up the room. This is only the first day, we still have tomorrow.

It is better if we make reservation earlier, because I saw there were plenty of tour group staying at this hotel. Verwood has rooms with beautiful view, all rooms facing to the sun rise, therefore, every morning when we wake up, we will see the beauty of sun rise. We do not need to go the Bromo mountain to find the beautiful sun rise, just stay at this hotel, and we will get everything.
