• Alexander (3/5): - Gut, dass es wenigstens ein Dach hatte und man direkt vor der Tür parken konnte. Es war im gesamten Zimmer und Bad sehr dreckig. Wirklich überall lagen Haare rum und Sand war in den Räumen verteilt. Das Bett reicht maximal für eine Person und im Zimmer ist nicht genug Platz um einen Koffer zu öffnen. Die Wände sind sehr dünn, der laute Kühlschrank direkt neben dem Bett und die Nähe zur Hauptstraße machen die Geräuschkulisse komplett. Wer hier eine gute Bewertung gibt hat noch nie in einem normalen Hotel geschlafen.

• Lukas (10/5): - In overpriced Tofino, this Motel is a hidden gem for everyone who doesn't mind a little bit of rust here and there. Great for solo and couples, 5 mins beach access.

• Darla (7/5): Great little motel. Very friendly staff - very clean and comfortable. - Room was great - it was like a little cabin- kitchen had everything we needed and it was very clean. Very close to Chesterman Beach (5min walk). Slight musty smell when we first got to the room. This aired out in no time.
• Malia (1/5): - It has bed bugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT STAY THERE. I should have left after my feet were black after walking around for 20 min. The floors hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Then I started getting what I thought were mosquito bites. But then they started showing up in places mosquitos can’t get to. This place will give you bed bugs. Do not stay there.

• Sarah (8/5): In an area where prices are through the roof, the Dolphin is your reasonable and practical choice. - The place was clean and well organised. It was equipped with everything we needed, just right. A lot of motels nowadays miss common sense items like bedside lamps, but the Dolphin had it all: the lamps even had built in charging ports. Smart! The kitchen was beautifully stocked with everything needed for basic cooking. The beds were clean with adequate blankets and extra pillows. The host family were very friendly and warm. I feel like they’ve been there for a long time. There is a grocery store a few minutes away on foot. We recommend the Dolphin!! It’s a highway side motel. Don’t expect a great view. However it’s surprisingly quiet considering. Also it’s old. It’s not modern and sleek. Expect that and you won’t be disappointed.

• Ken (4/5): Would not stay there again - The location is good. It's only 5 min to town. Room was very hard to find, no signs to tell you where to find the hidden 2nd building. No staff to call if you arrive after 9pm. Price is good, but the rest of it is not so. Bed is very uncomfortable, place is very very old and smells very musty. It was better than sleeping in a tent, but not much better.

• Doris (3/5): Würde ich nicht empfehlen - Es war nett, dass wir eine Suite erhalten haben zum gleichen Preis wie ein Doppelzimmer. Ich möchte ja nicht wissen, wie das Zimmer ausgesehen hätte, welches wir gebucht hatten. Das Zimmer bzw. die Wohnung/Bungalow richte müffelig. Geschirr mussten wir abwaschen sonst hätte man 20 Dollar bezahlt. Im Wohnzimmer war ein Zustellbett. Alles Alt und die Türen der Schränke waren schief. Für eine Nacht ging das ja, aber sicher nicht mehr. In der Wohnung war es kalt.

• Elke (5/5): best priced accommodation in Tofino - Our unit was very tiny and basic, best used as a “sleep and go” as the manager said. For the price, we couldn’t complain. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using the table at the front door. It could use a few basic improvements such as replacing old baseboards, the beat up dresser, the rusted heat vents, the creaky bed.

• lüber (3/5): - Haben nur geschlafen und gingen immer weg am Morgen. Das Zimmer war nicht sauber, der Boden war schmutzig. Wenn du barfuss herum läufst bekamst du ganz schwarze Füsse.

Wir haben 150 CHF bezahlt, was immer noch der helle Wahnsinn ist, aber es war wenigstens sauber. Es ist extrem alt und hässlich und dennoch nicht wirklich schlimm.

• Lehmann (7/5): Wir waren für zwei Nächte jetzt dort, und wir hatten eine echt gute Zeit. Es war alles wirklich sauber. Bei unsere Ankun - Sehr super nettes älteres Paar was die Unterkunft leitet. Sehr sauber. Man hat eigentlich alles was man brauch in der Küche. Nur ca. 5min Fußweg zum Strand. Tolle Umgebung man braucht nicht zu lange bis Tofino. Nah am Highway (Hatten dadurch keine Lärm Belastung). Der Lüfter im Bad war sehr sehr laut. Auf den ersten Eindruck kam ein alles sehr sehr merkwürdig vor man hat gebraucht um an zu kommen. Die Gebäude an sich sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen. In den Gebäuden hat man den klassischen alten Holzgeruch. Es wurde schnell zu kalt oder zu warm in der Unterkunft.

Great location, clean room and washroom, they even provided towels, an electric kettle, coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. No, it’s not a luxury hotel and it’s perfect if you’re going to enjoy nature and beaches. Mattresses were super comfortable. Walls are a bit thin and noise so bring earplugs, it’s close to the road so you can hear the traffic. I will definitely go back there again! It can be a bit noisy due to being close to the road

Could use a small nightlight for the bathroom. Bedroom and bathroom doors were tight when closed and made a lot of noise when opening in the night.
