Guest Reviews
- Michelle (10/5): A beautiful Balinese santuary away from home - The villa was like my own little sanctuary. A large comfortable bed, outdoor bath, roomy shower & plenty of room to spread out & relax. The staff are service here are next level, amazing! I ordered in-villa dining and the food was fresh, delicious and delivered with a smile. The location of The Pavillions is perfect, nestled away in manicured, tropical lushness from the busy main street in Sanur but literally a 3 -5 minutue walk to shops, restaurants and spa's. Everything you need is at your doorstep.
I enjoyed having my own private pool which was a treat to night swim under the stars and wash away the days heat. I enjoyed my stay so much .. I have booked to return next year! Everything was wonderful!
- Lindsey (9/5): Lovely accommodation and super friendly staff - The property is in a lovely setting with large rooms and the staff are so friendly and helpful. It's about a 10 minute walk through to the beach and the shopping strip but you are tucked away in a quiet enclave that's very peaceful.
- Amaya (10/5): Beautiful, relaxing and tranquil experience. Slice of heaven! - The privacy of the pool and space. We loved the upstairs bedroom and beautiful furniture throughout. Nothing, it was amazing!
- Paula (10/5): - Exceptionally clean and the villa was absolutely lovely and spacious. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was yummy. We had a villa with a pool and could not fault the Pavilions so highly recommend it Everything was wonderful

- Sophie (10/5): Loved every moment of our stay at The Pavilions. Location was fantastic! A short walk through the mall and youâre at the - The villa and pool were stunning, bed was comfortable, staff were fantastic. An air conditioner in the living area wouldâve made a huge difference. The bedroom ones donât filter out there very well so it was always quite warm even with the fans on. Everything else was fantastic

- Peter (8/5): A peaceful retreat in the heart of Sanur - This was our first time staying at The Pavilions Sanur. We loved the peaceful location away from the road but still close to the beach, shops and restaurants. We stayed in a garden villa next to the pool. We enjoyed the pool bar and cocktails. The restaurant area was lovely and the breakfast choices were good. All of the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, particularly with a couple of plumbing issues! Special mention to Nia, Vitri, Zul and Yundi and the friendly security staff who always welcomed us back with a smile and a wave. We hope to stay again! Nothing
- Ana (9/5): E a segunda vez que fico no Pavilions, isso diz tudo ! - Os funcionårios sao muito atenciosos, o serviço e mesmo muito bom. A localização Ê absolutamente fantåstica A carta do restaurante que e muito limitada
- Megan (9/5): Exceeded my expectations - Excellent location, beautiful staff, felt safe as a solo traveller, villa with private pool was perfection.

- kathleen (9/5): My Husband and myself fully enjoyed our stay at the Pavilion. - The property was well maintained and had a very high standard of care and amenities. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We had breakfast at the restaurant each morning. I couldnât fault the food and how it was prepared and presented. I would like to put a big thank you to the staff that served us each day. It was a pleasure to be there. Plus to all the staff at the pavilion. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. Nothing!
- Troy (7/5): Very quiet and tranquil, back off the street with no traffic noise. Great location with just a short walk to everything - Great location and the staff were excellent Bed were very hard
- Jeanie (10/5): Perfect getaway - Shaded pool in our villa was essential and perfect
Breakfasts were very nice
Location was awesome There was nothing I didn't like about our stay
- Emma (10/5): -
- Cloe (10/5): amazeballs - Amazballs we didnt stay longer
- gsharding (6/5): Disappointing Stay at the Pavilions Sanur - My wife and I have just finished a five night stay at the Pavillions. I will break this down into several parts as this is vervy much a several part review.
1) The good. We have stayed at the Pavilions Villas on a previous visit and had a great stay so it was easy to pick the Pavilions again when staying in Sanur. As always the staff are just fabulous. They are incredibly friendly and only want the best for your visit. My wife had an issue with a broken tooth which as luck would have it occurred as as we arrived at the airport for our departure. The staff arranged a dentist and cab pronto with an excellent result. Brekky while limited is plentiful and tasty. We had a plantation villa which is expansive. Brilliant pool but the spiral stairs can be problematic(donât wear socks transversing them ) Location once again is brilliant. Its only a five minute walk to the Icon shopping mall and restaurants are plentiful and good.
2) The Bad. We were in Villa 20. What we did not find out till we were be taken to our villa was the construction going on in the adjacent villas. The noise was terrible. We were advised that the noise would cease at 6pm. When sitting by the pool all we head was a wood planer, saw and hammers drills along with hammering. We went out the second day and missed a lot of the noise but on return the construction noise continued. At 8.30pm the construction was still occurring and at that point I contacted the front desk to voice my displeasure. The noise ceased a short time later. Breakfast was a bit later the next morning and as we ate the noise was totally unacceptable. We raised the issue with staff but were advised there was nothing really that could be done. After the five nights we were well and truly over the noise. Had we not paid in advance we would not have remained.
3) I understand and congratulate the Pavilions on trying to keep their villas and maintenance up to date BUT surely it is not to hard to advise you during the booking process of the ongoing noise from the maintenance. Despite much correspondence via emails no mention was ever made of any noise or construction. I found this very misleading. The fact that what was supposed to be a very restful and fun time turned into a holiday where we could not use the Villa Pool we had paid for due to the very loud and disturbing construction noise.
4) If you are intending on staying at the Pavilions just ask the question will your villa be the subject of construction noise.
The big question is would we return â yes but only after all the construction work is completed.
- 303Sharon66 (10/5): Amazing Stay at the Pavilions - Had an amazing experience for my 60th birthday at the Pavilions. Nothing was too much trouble even when torrential rain caused flooding of our villa. Staff were only concerned about guests experience and we were soon moved to a new villa with our affected clothes washed and dried. The complimentary Balinese massage was appreciated. The breakfasts served in our villa were amazing and we actually stopped ordering all that was on offer. Our butlers Mega and Yoga were fantastic and couldnât do enough for us. Every night when we returned to our villa after dinner, our bedding had been turned down, local Balinese present left on the bed, and candles lit in the bathroom. We ate a number of times in the restaurant which was always fantastic and had a good menu on offer. All in all a fantastic birthday stay, thank you!
- Georgia (10/5): Beautiful relaxing week spent here - It was private (1 bedroom villa) with lovely facilities & enough space to be able to relax & spread out. Nothing to report
- Nola (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our own pool and the polite staff. Heaven on Earth - The quietness, delicious food, polite staff very well maintained Found the bed a bit too firm
- 521nolap (10/5): Perfect example of Heaven on Earth - We found The Pavillion excellent value for money, service, delicious food and politeness of staff amazing and very accommodating

- Stephen (10/5): OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE 15/10 - I can't give The Pavilions enough praise . It should be 7*! IF I could award it!
From the moment we arrived everyone from the security, reception, gardeners to the in house Butlers were just totally amazing . Always a smile , nothing was too much trouble .
Our villa with a pool was perfect . Plenty of space and quiet .
Location perfect short walk to the beach and excellent shopping Mall .
Good restaurants nearby .
Breakfast was excellent with more than enough choice from the menu .
THEN ...
Our second week disaster struck torrential rain across Bali . Floods everywhere . With people stranded .
We were awakened by the thunder only to find we were under water .
The staff carried our cases to dry land at 5.00 in the morning . They had organised a taxi and dry accommodation at the Hyatt resort .
So professional was the relocation we couldn't have asked for better in anyway. The staff and manager were just concerned we were ok and happy at the Hyatt.
We returned to a new villa two days later .
To be greeted with smiling faces .
Thank you everyone at The pavilions for making a disaster outside your control as comfortable as possible .
We do hope you get your 8 villas out of action up and running soon . Nothing

- Jennifer (10/5): Very private and quiet villas so close the busy Sanur Beach and beach walk path. - The location is really good for proximity to the Icon shopping centre and Sanur beach. Great choice of bars and restaurants close by. Loved the Plantation villa. Really private pool and the villa has everything you could possibly need. Lovely staff and special touch to have your name at the entry of your villa. Loved everything
- Antony (10/5): A hidden Gem in the heart of Sanur - The Pavilions Bali did not dissapoint. It was clean, quiet and the staff are amazing and professional. Chandra at front office was helpful and very accomadating. When we checked into our villa there were Valentines flowers and flowers on the bath tub that made me feel special. (Hubby organised) we were celebrating my sisters bday and Chandra organised a beautiful cake for her plus they spoilt her by remembering her birthday. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The Balinese coffee plunger was well needed after nights of excess. No request was too hard.
Beds comfy and 2 air cons in room. Filtered water machine. Big fridge. Room maintained every morning. Pool in villa clean, private and quiet
a must. Sanur for us was just what we needed. Quiet location ICON MALL walking distance as were great restaurants and shops. Preferred the laid back vibe of Sanur.
- JudeV125 (10/5): Peaceful Pavilions - Another great stay at The Pavilions.
Staff are so welcoming and helpful. Always know who you are and what is happening with your stay.
1 bedroom pool villa was near the main pool, but still very quiet and peaceful.
Lovely food for breakfast each day at the restaurant but could be taken in villa if wanted.
Always nice to turn into the driveway off the main road, a feeling of calm comes over you!
Highly recommend and we will be back.
- P3477FUianf (10/5): Peaceful haven in Sanur. - Peaceful haven in Sanur. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. Huge rooms with private outdoor space, very tranquil. Good access to town/local mall and beach.

- callmemanpa (10/5): Wonderfull Stay and Staff â¤ď¸ - A memorable short gateaway at this place. Celebrate our honeymoon and wedding anniversary, it turns really amazing as we got a special treatment with an incredible plunge villa (with my name wrote on it), a flower setup on the bath tub, and a complimentary gift for our little daughter.
Special mentioned to Mba Pebi and Mba Ayu, also Villa Butler and the Security guy are really helpfull.
Couldnt asked for more. Thank you so much for the warm welcome â¤ď¸

- 156kristenk (10/5): Central location - I enjoyed my stay here. It is very centrally located, only moments from the Icon Bali shopping centre and a stones through from many dining and shopping options, but set far enough back off the road that I still felt relaxed and calm each time I turned down the driveway.
The little touches during my stay were unexpected and so lovely. The turndown service, lighting mosquito coils in the early evening, etc. all added to the overall experience.
I did see that someone asked wither the pool is heated. I'm told it isn't, but the temperature was perfect. I'm known to be a bit of a wimp when it comes to getting into a pool if it is too cold and this was absolutely perfect, I walked straight in every time.

- T5384EQdebbies (10/5): Beautiful Boutique Hotel with a HUGE heart. - Absolute Bliss, truly Heaven on Earth. We booked a two-week stay at the Pavilions Bali for Christmas 2025. From the outset, we had wonderful expectations, as from the website, Social Media content and other reviews, all we could feel and envision was being wrapped in tranquillity and a unique, authentic Balinese stay. We were not disappointed.
From the moment we arrived, we knew The Pavillions Bali was magical. Recognising we had just landed from a 19-hour flight, we were shown to our private Garden Villa, which has all the simple and understated luxuries you need, treated to the homemade special lemonade - so refreshing and booked in for our post-travel spa treatment for the following day. We were also greeted with a welcome gift to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We thought this was a one-off, but
The Garden Villa is simple luxury at its best with a HUGE lounge, a gorgeous queen bed in the bedroom, a massive marble bathroom and an outdoor shower. We also had a lovely Garden with a pond and our own fish, 3 of which we named - Derek, Colin and Margaret.
The whole hotel has the feel of a small private Balinese village, with all rooms being villas. Breakfast is served in your Villa each morning, a lovely treat and a great way to start the day. You can also take your evening meal in your Villa. We chose not to. The Pavillions Jahe Restaurant is lovely and set in a private garden. You can choose to sit in your own private pagoda or in the restaurant's main area. The food is clean and fresh, and you can choose from traditional Balinese dishes or western options, so there is something for everyone. You can also order from the Pool All Day menu as well. One evening, I was not hungry at all, and the team kindly offered to make a clear chicken soup for me; it was simply delicious.
The Pavilions Spa is wonderful. The Pavilion's Signature Massage and their Ultimate treatment, which includes a body scrub, a full-body massage, and a facial, are wonderful. You can also have amazing 121 Yoga classes, and the gym is small and perfectly equipped.
We also went on many trips around the island. We chose to work with the excursions offered in the hotel packages, and there were some unique offerings we had not seen on Get Your Guide or from independent booking as you walked through Sanur main street. We also had a bespoke day trip from the hotel, utilising their car and wonderful Driver, Eric. As well as a Balinese Cooking experience with the Pavilion's Chef, and a super special banquet on Christmas Day
Most of all, what makes the Pavillions Bali so special is the team that works there. Simona and her team have created a beautiful haven where relaxing, coming back to your senses, and connecting with yourself, your loved ones, and the team are at the essence of all they do. If you want a taste of Bali and wrap yourself in authentic, simple luxury, where you arrive as a stranger but definitely leave as a friend, then the Pavilions Bali is the place for you. But don't tell too many people, we want to keep it our little secret.
Would we go back? in a heartbeat and are already making plans to do so.
Matur Suksma Team Pavilions Bali, we loved staying with you, we miss you, and can't wait to return.
- Vicky (10/5): excellent stay, very comfortable - staff were amazing and the villas were very comfortable and well maintained. Location is very good and felt very private and exclusive with many cafes, restaurant's, shops & spas etc close by.
- Brett (10/5): Great place to stay. Staff were wonderful and the location was convenient. - Great location. Staff were fantastic. Pool was kept clean and villa was large and comfortable. Not right on the beach, but quieter which suited my wife and I. Cheap laundry place next door.
- Julie (6/5): pleasant - Villas were clean - pool in villa was lovely and clean. Breakfast was disappointing - we only had it twice - no taste - coffee was terrible. - no atmosphere - no music
We only ate at the restaurant once due to the poor meal - again no music - no atmosphere and they seemed very short of staff.
- DY_193 (10/5): A peaceful spa haven - As you walk through Sanur and come across the entrance, it immediately catches your eye with an inviting, magical charm that pulls you right in. Inside is a calm, green sanctuary hidden in the heart of the town. The spa was amazing. I loved the oils and scrubs with a pleasant scents that you really have to experience yourself. The therapists were warm and accommodating, and the quality fully justifies the price. Highly recommended!
- MissJaneAustralia (10/5): Serene and relaxing stay - Excellent service, quiet say , clean rooms ,
Spacious surrounds. Close to beach and restaurants. On site spa- fabulous. Breakfast fresh and varied
- RachieJLee (10/5): Fantastic stay, perfect location - Absolutely stunning! Loved our stay in Sanur at the Bali Pavilions. Our villa was spacious and perfect for our family. We enjoyed the outdoor space and private pool. Villa is within walking distance to Icon shopping centre, spas and fantastic restaurants. Highly recommended the cooking classes.
- Leah (10/5): Wonderful, relaxing and feeling pampered - The villas are wonderfully clean and spacious. Everything you desire is catered for. The staff are lovely and go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. A little bit of luxury in Bali.
- Anton (9/5): -
- Louis (10/5): Heaven in Sanur - It was a fantastic stay. Nice and secluded off the main strip. This property walkability score should be 100. Bars and massage places are 5 mins walk, along with supermarkets and the largest mall icon which sits on the beach. 5 star quality with the privacy of your own pool villa. Brekky was always fresh and doesn't slow you down as it wasn't heavy. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting an unwind or secured area for their kids it's about 5 x bigger than a hotel room which we found very helpful for travel with our kid. I feel there would be huge potential for an upgrade to the restaurant.. I..e raising the roof and doing some landscaping on the lawn to match the beautiful villas. At times it could feel dark. If this was modernised the property would also Attract a lot more outsiders.
- Michael (9/5): Relaxing, private, secluded and comfortable - Pool All good
- ashleygK5209GV (10/5): Great couples getaway in a great location - My husband and I went without the kids for a relaxing week away and we were so relaxed coming back home. The hospitality was amazing and all staff were so lovely and helpful. The reception staff went out of their way to order in more perfume that I loved in the reception store and was able to reorder for me before I checked out. Anything we asked for was not a problem. Location is great, right across from The Icon shopping mall. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
- andyhH2914OE (8/5): Outstanding Staff and Cuisine beware of the noise and beds - We stayed at the Pavilions for 5 nights. All staff were quite outstanding and could not have been more helpful or efficient. We had a fabulous New Year function with excellent cuisine and entertainment. We also did both the cookery course and the Dinner of the Gods which were exceptional.
It would be wrong not to point out a few issues. The soundproofing in our villa was non existent and we had cause to report noise issues to staff on several occasions, this issue certainly detracted from our stay as did the bed and pillows. We travel very extensively and the bed and pillows are by far the worst that we have ever encountered and again they detracted from our stay.
- Sandy (6/5): Staff and villa were very nice - The bed we had was very hard both had back pain by 3rd night
- Sheyda (9/5): -
- Nigel (10/5): The accommodation provides a quiet oasis from the hustle and bustle of Sanur. - The seclusion and tranquillity of the villas. Breakfasts served in the villa were excellent and the location great. The staff are attentive and helpful. Difficult to fault this accommodation.
- twobirdfamily (10/5): It really is heaven on earth. - Everything you could wish for! The Pavilions is the best accommodation option in Sanur. Seamless pick up and check in experience, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff is absolutely top notch, they really do look after you, the Balinese are experts at friendly customer service but the Pavilions team are unsurpassed. Our two bedroom villa was gorgeous and everything including the private pool was spotlessly clean. There were a lot of small flourishes and thoughtful details that made the accommodation. truly comfortable and special. The in villa breakfasts were sumptuous and delicious and we enjoyed a lovely meal on arrival at the in house Jahe restaurant. I cannot recommend The Pavilions highly enough, we loved our stay!
- Ollie (9/5): -
- Emma (9/5): Perfect getaway in a central convenient location - Beautiful setting, helpful and friendly staff. Perfect for our family holiday Nil
- Rebecca (8/5): Beautiful ambiance, great location - The room was beautiful, private pool fab, and staff excellent. The only negative was the constant building works, jack hammering, going on. Once that is completed Iâd rate it 10/10.
- Karen (6/5): The hotel doesnât manage clients expectations and needs to sort out its onsite restaurant - Friendly staff. The rooms internally were well decorated and comfortable. Itâs a quiet place to return to after the bars and traffic of Sanur.
Of the two rooms seen, Iâd recommend the smaller bungalows, the pool area is nicer. We paid for the top price pavilion room with private pool. At no stage before we arrived at the property or while checking in did anyone tell us they were building another apartment opposite us and we would hear loud banging from 9-5pm. Only after we complained did we get moved to another room. We did receive a rebate to reflect the downgraded room. The restaurant is poorly run. Main course took almost 2 hours to arrive after we ordered it. I suspect because the kitchen was servicing the in room diners.
- Kelsey (9/5): -
- JT (9/5): excellent stay & great location - location, room and spa were excellent the noise from the villa next door, when the doorbell rang it was like it was yours and with breakfast being delivered every morning it was annoying if you were having a lie in
- Fearless18339837818 (10/5): Totally relaxing place to stay. - The staff and the location really make The Pavilions a special place to visit. Our butler Yoga and tour driver/guide Eddie were totally fantastic, thank you. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our villa was fantastic we had such a relaxing holiday. The food is amazing, we really enjoyed our in villa breakfast. I am not sure how many staff there are working at the Pavilions, but it felt like 4 members of staff for every guest.
- Z9812YCvanessah (10/5): Sanur Pavillions - Beautiful pool villas in gorgeous surrounds. The staff are amazing, as was the food and spa treatments so will definitely be back.
- CAMILLE (10/5): -
- Pradeep (10/5): Excellent property, the breakfast served in the room is a game changer recommended for all - Everything was excellent
- R1364LQkatherinej (10/5): Beautiful Villas! - Great location close to everything we needed. Lovely and quiet as it is set back from the main road. The villas are beautiful and the staff couldnât do enough for us to make sure we enjoyed our stay.
- Christian Guenter (10/5): -
- stevedS1981EV (10/5): our lovely stay at The Pavilions Bali - The Pavilions Bali stay was a highlight for our 6 nightâs trip. The place is beautiful very green, very nature & quiet, even the drive into the villa was gorgeous with bamboo lining both sides; the villa is spacious, comfortable with a nice size fridge and utensils, kettle. All the staff is courteous and helpful with whatever we need or ask for. I would love to come back and stay here again, best of all the Balinese spa treatment was amazing. (I booked for 3 days and would love to have more if not for conflict with tour schedules). Special thanks to front desk for letting us late check out on our last day so we can book another massage and still have time for shower and finish packing.
- Rylie (10/5): -
- Collette (9/5): Holiday stay for a milestone birthday - Fabulous location, within walking distance to beach and restaurants. Staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble x

We enjoyed walking across the road, through the new shopping mall to the ocean. There are many restaurants and cafes along a wide path that meanders along the ocean front. I canât think of anything I didnât like
- Kvetoslava (10/5): - NĂĄdhernĂŠ vilky s vlastnĂm bazĂŠnem. Na odpoÄinek super
- Kgarvie67 (10/5): Just perfect! - We spent 6 nights at The Pavilions (22nd to 28th Oct) staying in Villa 5. In our view, everything about The Pavilions was 'perfect' and we could not fault our stay.
- A stunning villa with a pool
- Exceptional staff
- Beautifully maintained resort
- Fantastic food in a beautiful restaurant
Note to Management: ALL the staff we had the privilege to encounter during our stay (butler service, pool and villa maintenance staff, housekeeping, restaurant staff, main pool snack bar staff, reception and security) were professional, curtious and helpful, always with a smile đ
Thank you for a memorable stay
- Nadine (9/5): Had a great trip loved the staff esp at pool bar - breakfast and location were amazing nothing
- Lynn (9/5): Beautiful retreat from the bustle of Sanur - Very quiet and peaceful away from the surrounding busy spots, yet handy enough to walk to them.
The villa pool was bigger than expected surrounded by beautiful Frangipani blossoms.
The restaurant was not expensive and the cocktails well-made.
The staff were very attentive. Mosquitoes in the rooms but the staff provided room and skin sprays and plug-in repellent.
- F4084KBlisab (10/5): A hidden gem - We stayed for 5 nights at the end of a 2 month tour of Australia, and it was the perfect end to our trip. The Pavilions is a quiet oasis in a busy town full of lovely bars and restaurants giving the traveller the best of all worlds. We were looked after SO well by the staff at the Pavilions from the moment we got there. Super efficient reception who have whatâs app and respond to all requests immediately. We were shown to the most stunning, spacious, private villa with pool with beautiful decor. Breakfast is ordered on the app delivered straight to the villa with a big variety to choose from. The spa was outstanding and as good as any I have been to all over the world. Try the signature massage! We had a private yoga lesson and also did the Balinese cookery class, great fun and very professional. All the staff are really friendly and work so hard to make sure the guests have a wonderful time which we did. If I could give the Pavilions 6 stars I would!

- Karen (10/5): A beautiful and relaxing 'home' in Bali - The Pavilions Bali was a fantastic place to relax and enjoy Bali hospitality! Having been on an intensive trip in other parts of Indonesia, this was a perfect place to recover and relax. It was exactly what we'd hoped for. Everything was great!
- cherylhO1615JM (10/5): Beautiful, quiet hidden oasis - great location - The Pavilion has an excellent location in Sanur Beach, close to Icon shopping centre and beach. We had a one-bedroom pool villa which was great in size, very private and quiet. The food at the restaurant was great and all the staff were friendly...would definitely stay again
- Quest560884 (10/5): Beautiful quiet hidden oasis - We loved our stay at Pavilions Bali, it was a hidden oasis in a grate location close to restaurants and the beach.
The staff were always friendly and helpful.
It was so nice coming into the villas down the long shady driveway arched with tall bamboo then the beautiful gardens with tall trees, so peaceful.
- SANDRA (10/5): Very relaxing - A hidden oasis in a great locations, all the staff were friendly and helpful we loved our stay at Pavilions Bali
- Carolyn (8/5): - We were given a villa with our own private plunge pool and indoor and outdoor shower which exceeded our expectations. The villa was very spacious and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, one of the best during our stay in Indonesia. The hotel was very quiet in a very convenient location close to everything. We were especially grateful to the security team who helped us get an alternative taxi to the airport at 0400 when the one we'd ordered didn't turn up! Nothing
- Steopold_Bloom (10/5): Wow. Amazing stay at The Pavillions - Wow. Nicer than our honeymoon in Mauritius ! Five star all the way, from the welcome at check in to check out, we ( 2 adults 2 children) were looked after like royalty . Very kindly allowed us to store our considerable luggage while elsewhere for a few days, booked and organised taxis, ferries, tickets, trips on our behalf. The nicest receptionists Iâve ever dealt with our very lovely guide and driver Yante helped make a fabulous stay even better
- freofanx5 (6/5): Disappointing - Decided to start our holiday somewhere special, unfortunately this didnât live up to expectations or reviews!
Pros- good location near beach and icon
- price was good on Agoda, much better than hotel website BUT as we found out- not booking directly meant staff treated you different to others- we wonât return due to this!
Cons- our villa was dark and nothing like images.
- no turn down or mosquito spray provided at night.
- hotel pool area is a lot older than images
- no where near a 5 star service, 3 stars at best.
- Trip01274857849 (10/5): Amazing villas - My partner and I stayed at the Pavillions for 4 nights and had an amazing time. Location, food and staff were all amazing. Will definitely be back.
- Oliver (9/5): Beautiful jewel at busy Sanur - Amazing Villas in the middle but off Sanurs busy vibes. Sanur is no place too stay longer for me âŚ
- Kelly (8/5): -
- Sophie (10/5): - Had an amazing stay here! My partner and I were here for 4 nights and canât think of a single thing to complain about. Villa, staff and food were all amazing, will definitely be back

- cd98 (10/5): Good stay - Stayed at villa #8 for 5 nights. Overall experience is great. Our butler Mega is awesome. Spa treatments are excellent with very reasonable price.
Couple minor inconveniences
Requested a villa away from construction noise and even though I understand itâs based on availability, but they put us in a villa next to #7 which has renovation going on. Cannot be worse than that
Requested mosquito treatment every evening and I put down mosquito net down the first night. Thinking they would do it the next night. No turndown service ever did mosquito net for us.
Will stay again
- T4328JRrobc (10/5): How's the serenity. Bali paradise. - Highly recommend this peaceful venue.
The Balinese villa layout makes it feel like your own piece of paradise.
Staff & amenities are excellent.
Central location is useful.
More than likely to book another stay when we return.
- Sante (9/5): Perfect stay & start to our 1st experience of Bali - The Balinese styling of the villa and complex.
The individual family name plaque on the entrance was a nice touch
- 888Reik (10/5): Beautiful Bali - Sadly, we are coming to the end of a ten night stay in the Plantation Villa - it is a lovely comfortable, quiet and spacious villa. Excellent location just across the road from the Icon Mall - so just a short walk to shops restaurants and Sanur Beach. The staff and service here is truly first class. Two highlights for us (among so many) was the in-villa seafood bbq⌠chef cooked everything to perfectionâŚand a curated tour (monkey forest/rice and coffee plantations/Ubud waterfalls/Batuan Temple) that we took today guided by the wonderful Yande (the best tour guide in Bali!!) His command of English and his knowledge of Bali and its culture was superb. Itâs a long journey from the UK but one weâd love to make again - and when we do, weâll definitely choose to return to Pavilions
- 6330Albany (10/5): A hidden paradise - Love love love this place. We had a pool villa which is almost as big as our house!
The location is spot on....a few minutes walk to the Icon then through to the beach.
The restaurant is OK, however we found some great restaurants down the beach.
Breakfast is nice and can be served to you in the villa or in the restaurant.
We enjoyed having it after a dip in our pool.
Highly recommend this property đ
- Tripsb25 (10/5): Little Heaven on Earth - Wow! What a little gem. Set down a quiet little bamboo lined entrance this spot is a tranquil relief from the busy streets elsewhere. Close to shops, the icon mall, the beach and lots of amazing Warungs this has it all. We have spent just over a week here now and itâll be difficult to leave! The staff are amazing, so friendly and you always receive a warm hello. From the second we checked in the reception team have been spot on and the team that serves our breakfast (to your own room everyday) are a joy to see each morning. The security team always greet you each time you enter or leave with such warmth.
The gardens and pool area are immaculately clean and well tended. Credit to the kitchen staff too as the food is always beautifully presented and flavourful.
A huge thank you to the guys who turn down the rooms in the evening, they leave us a little gift that really rounds off your perfect day. We will truly be sad to leave and head home!
- JoannaB150 (10/5): Absolutely perfect - Everything about this hotel is just perfect. I love the tropical gardens, the shaded bamboo entrance way, the space, the privacy. I could go on. Service was attentive and quick via an app or a telephone, we were greeted by staff everywhere we went, the villas were so spacious.
Normally we do not use resort spas but this one was the exception, we took advantage of one of their specials and whilst it was twice the price of going out on the street, we tried that too and found that it was well worth it for the quality of the massage and the cleanliness.
One of my favourite aspects was the 10 L drinking water coolerin our room so we did not have to keep on chugging through plastic bottles. We also were able to enjoy breakfast salad confidently, (breakfast is included) and all up, it was a fantastic stay.
- johnhp2601 (10/5): Oasis of Calm in Sanur - Stayed for seven nights and really enjoyed our time at the Pavilions. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious. Pool is lovely and well maintained. Hotel is an oasis of calm close to the bustling Center of Sanur. Warmly recommended.
- beverleygarner1960 (10/5): GREAT PLACE GREAT PEOPLE - On Arrival we were shown to our Villa, first impression was you didnât know you were off a main road and was very quite. The rooms inside were spacious and having air-con helped with the humidity. The Pool was kept clean and we used it almost everyday. Our villa attendants Mega and Yoga who bought our breakfast every morning was always friendly and have a big smile.
We celebrated my husbands birthday with a speciality dining Seafood BBQ that came with a chef to cook at the villa. The food was excellent and there were all types of seafood. We also had another Speciality dining experience Heaven on Earth they decorated the pool and set a beautiful table outside and served a 3 course meal.
We did 3 days were we were on a all-day private tour by car the Drivers name was Erik he was an excellent driver and guide. We insisted we had him every time he was so good.
We also ate at the Jade Restaurant on other evenings were Tina took the best possible care of us and served us some lovely food, nothing was too much trouble.
Because we had the Chef cook us some amazing food I did want to bring home :0
Pebi in Reception helped me so much in sorting out a present for my husbands birthday and made sure that everything was in order for our lovely evening.
