When I arrived, the pool and hot tub were closed and had been closed for what seemed like awhile. I just wanted to leave a review in case anyone else takes amenities into account. The front desk was really nice and let me cancel my reservation. They didn’t give me a hassle at all and were understanding.

Im very insatisfied.

Then to see that the bins under the dish counter was not emptied. I spent 12 days there and during that time my room was cleaned once with request and once without request. Both times after cleaning I had to request additional wash cloths, there was no dish cloths and it was unbelievable that the room attendants didn’t wash the dishes after they so called cleaned the room. How can a room be cleaned with the dishes being washed? Additionally the sofa mattress is dirty and soiled it needs changing. It is not suitable for human beings to lay on.

Thomas (8/5): - I ask for a room change because the roof top air conditioner was noisy and banging so loud. They accommodated me. The fire alarm kept going off. Neither of these things could be helped by the staff. The mechanical things need attention. Other than that it was a good stay.
Marilou (8/5): Pleasantly surprised - I had low expectations just because it's a budget chain for which I'd seen mixed reviews. But it was actually pretty good for a bare bones kind of place. The bed, pillows, and bedding were all good quality--better than I've experienced in some upscale hotels--making for a comfortable sleep. The place was quiet and clean (though the scent of disinfectant was kind of unpleasant in hallways) and having a kitchen and full size refrigerator is definitely a bonus. The room was very spacious. Very reasonable dog fee of $25. Actually had a pleasant view of a green field. The one down side was that the hotel had no record of my reservation despite receiving repeated emails from Hotels.com saying my reservation was guaranteed, etc etc. Fortunately they had a room, the same that I'd reserved. But I'd love to know how the reservation was lost.The room suffered from wear and tear in spots and the bathroom is just "eh." But all that is what I expect from budget chains. Location couldn't be more convenient.

Verified traveler (8/5): - Well we go there to swim in the pool. Which was open , but you had to sign in to swim, no more than 10 people. Just a covid thing.
Heather (10/5): - Hotel was clean. Friendly staff. Had a king suite w kitchen. Looks like a great place to stay if you are in town for a while on business. Large desk to work at.
Wendy (8/5): For a Candlewood Suites, it was good not great. - We stay exclusively at Candlewood Suites all across the country, this one is good, not great. It was certainly clean enough (although the previous guest had smoked in the room) but the facility needed updating and repairs. The carpeting was stained and worn in spots. The furniture and curtains were both tired and out-dated. Bed and linens comfortable as usual.
Mike (10/5): - Got a suite to have a date night with the wife, so we could be a little loud without worrying about kids on both sides of our bedroom like at home. Would definitely stay here on vacation with the whole family, the room was big and spacious, kitchen fully stocked and very modern. We normally stay at embassy suites or residence inn so we can have separate bedrooms, candlewood is an equal to those. If they had breakfast on site I’d probably rank it above the other two I mentioned.
