- Sherice (10/5): Awesome and relaxing!! Very quiet and rooms smell amazing and comfortable - The rooms were clean and very comfortable beds. The room smells so refreshing and relaxing. The shower was excellent and all the staff during my stay was phenomenal Just didn’t like that the area to sit out and smoke was not covered and it rained during my stay.

The key code machine was down so the staff was required to walk you to your room to let you in. The staff was very accommodating so no complaints about them just a little bit of an inconvenience when you wanted to leave for any reason.

The hot water really wasn't that hot. The bath mat looked really old. The hotel should spen a few extra bucks to get a new bath mat.

- Kristyn (10/5): Good choice - Came in town for a concert and Brandon Ampitheatre. The hotel is only a 10 minute drive from the venue. Several restaurants nearby. Hotel was very clean and the staff were all friendly. Definitely would stay here again if I’m in the area.

If they had been even a little understanding or apologetic it would have been a totally different experience. Had to scramble to find another hotel with a crib near by which took a while.

She patiently helped me through the issues I had in my room and had a great customer service demeanor. Issues in my room: hard to change the A/C temp by the buttons on the room’s thermostat and the tv channels were not initially working until the hospitality manager worked on it.

- Max (4/5): More Lost than Found - Overall this hotel is fine. Clean, comfortable, seemed to be well maintained. Our poor review relates to the lack of response we received on locating items we accidentally left in our room. Specifically 6 items of hanging clothes (valued at $400 to $500) that we mistakenly left in the closet when we departed. We called the hotel as soon as we discovered our mistake...5 hours later when we reached our next hotel in Florida. The front desk checked the room and lost and found and said they weren't there. Subsequently over the next 5 days we called repeatedly asking to get some help from the hotel manager. The manager said they would check into it and would get back in touch with us. They never did despite us calling each day asking for assistance. Their voicemail was full and so we couldn't leave a message that way. Very poor customer service in my humble opinion and it doesn't reflect very well on the Marriott or Courtyard brand. I've accidentally left things in a hotel room before and have always been able to retrieve them. We for sure will not be staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Jackson Airport/Pearl on any future trips to Jackson. This whole experience has been quite a bummer.

The two in-room glass drinking glasses provided had lipstick stains. Hotel and room scents while clean and pleasant, were over-powering.

I had to go down and report the issue - they sent a person to change the batteries in the thermostat after anothe hour with the temperture climbing they finally moved me to another room. However it was a handicap room which had a good air conditioner it was inconvenient for me. They property was not close to being full so I beleive it was the staffs way to annoy me.

- 119christym (10/5): Pleasantly surprised! - This is the best Marriott Courtyard type of hotel that I've ever stayed in. I've stayed in Ritz, Four Seasons, etc - obviously not the same category. But this was MUCH nicer than I expected. Friendly staff, very new / renovated rooms, large, very comfy beds, nice bar and restaurant in the lobby with elevated options, etc. VERY quiet (and I had a room on the side of the interstate). So much better than I ever would have expected. If you need a hotel in the area, I would HIGHLY recommend.

Check-in was a breeze, it is close to multiple restaurants and easy access of interstate I 20. I always get a suite and the room is well appointed and spotless. I highly recommend this hotel.
