• Falco Valkenburg (10/5): Bijzonder aangenaam verblijf - Uitstekend ontbijt. De eigenaresse is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zij besteedt echt aandacht aan alle gasten. De eigenaresse bakt ook zelf het brood en dat was heerlijk. Ook bakt zij zelf taarten, waarvan bij het ontbijt genomen kon worden. Eigenlijk niets. Alles was prima. De locatiebeschrijving vooraf zou nog iets beter kunnen. Bijvoorbeeld vermelden dat de eerste trap/lift genomen moet worden en de B&B op de 1e verdieping is.

• Ashiqur Rahman (10/5): Strongly recommend! - The host prepared a delicious homemade breakfast for us and served it on the beautiful green terrace. The beds were clean and very comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Maria was incredibly helpful and even allowed us to check in earlier than our reserved time. Maria's breakfast was really welcoming for us. It would be very helpful to have clearer directions for finding the place. We had to ask others for guidance, which caused some confusion. If Maria could include a short set of directions on how to enter the location, it would make the process much smoother and avoid any uncertainty.

• Sabrina (9/5): Eine grossartige Unterkunft für Wochenendaufenthalte mit geplantem Shoppintrip durch Milano. - Das sehr zentral gelegene Bijoux (20min zu Fuss vom Bahnhof, in weiteren 20min ist man beim Duomo - entlang der Shoppingmeile), hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Entzückende Einrichtung im Shabby-Look, mit viel Liebe zum Detail, hausgemachtes Frühstück mit Selbstgebackenem, frischen Früchten und hervorragendem Kaffee. Perfekte Unterstützung durch die Gastgeberin und sogar das Zimmer durften wir über den Checkout hinaus benutzen. nichts Negatives.

She took great care to make sure we were comfortable and was very helpful explaining the area and arranging transportation to the airport. Our favorite part of the stay was the breakfast. Mariagrazia is a very good baker. The homemade bread and pastries were very good. It was a true joy to stay here. There is nothing we didn't like.

• Lauren (10/5): Perfect stay in charming city oasis - A gem that felt like an oasis near the heart of busy Milan. Wonderful breakfast prepared by the exceptional hostess, Mariagrazia. Would love to stay here again. Plenty close to restaurants, shopping and public transit.

During night there was a constant rumbling noise that we could hear from our room which made earplugs necessary to sleep for both of us. It didn't come from the roo, we think it's the restaurant under the rooms. This is the only reason we could not score this place higher, everything else was really really great!

Access to the apartment floor is special, not easy to find and definitely nothing for + 100kg people. Its more like a private house, no hotel infrastructure. Value for money is on the edge.

She was very helpful and caring and immediately on arrival she started to help us, finding the right routes to explore the place and helping us with other issues. She prepares a wonderful breakfast herself with fresh bread, pastries, fresh squeezed juices. The place is very cosy, lots of lovely details. Wonderful! Everything was great, no any complaints.

Next time if go to Milan we'll come back. and we'll tell my friends also about that. i forgot to take my tooth paste with me.
• Gregor (10/5): Great experience, highly reccomend! - Great location, close to the city center. Very nicely decorated apartments with cosy kitchen. We really appreciated the hospitality and the warm energy of the hostess Mariagrazia which made us feel like at home. The breakfast she made for us every morning was amazing! Apartments are a bit cold in the winter since it is quite an old building.
• Tabea (7/5): It is not the cheapest option, but definately a very nice stay with everything you might need for exploring the city! - It‘s very cute and welcoming. The rooms are carefully designed and the host is very nice! Also the location is amazing but you still don‘t hear anything from the trouble outside. I travelled alone and the way to get to the b&b is a bit hidden in a courtyard. I didn‘t felt too safe when coming home in the night.

• Maya (9/5): Fantastic guesthouse with the sweetest host! - The location is fantastic, the guesthouse is super clean and cosy, and the host is just amazing. Had a great time and will definitely come back to this place. We could really hear a lot of noise from the room, and the shower’s pressure was really low.

The light was coming through the windows early morning and it would have been good to have some blinds... or light blocking curtains...but I am not sure if we just did not see them.

She truly lives next door which makes the check-in procedures literally more convivial than in other B&Bs. the room is in located in the courtyard of a 'casa di ringhiera', a very typical Milanese building but increasingly rare in this part of town; the location of the structured is excellent, on a semi pedestrianized street next to Porta Venezia, so right into one the coolest corners in town and with easy access to all others. all this at a price beating any other hotel around; breakfast freshly made by Mariagrazia herself. a casa di gioia is more than recommanded nothing

It's right on a busy main street in Milan, but you go through the doors and you're in the most lovely green courtyard. There is a tiny elevator to get to the second floor. Our room was small but nicely furnished. The hostess was super sweet and welcoming, even though our flight got in pretty late. The air conditioning was wonderful and the shower was excellent. The location is in an area that is not very touristy, although 20 feet from a metro station, so everything was a quick trip. There are lots of affordable restaurants nearby. I'd definitely stay here again. Everything was wonderful.

• Ben (10/5): Exceptional - If you’re looking for an atmospheric, friendly place to stay in the heart of Milan, look no further than Gioia House. Tucked away behind a door on a bustling pedestrianised cobbled street, the property is found in a quiet corner of a plant lined courtyard. Our room was large, comfortable and beautifully decorated, with a range of L’occitane toiletries. A breakfast consisting of home made cakes, frittata, Parmesan and local cured meats was served outside on a terrace that felt like eating at Nonna’s. The most special thing about our experience was our wonderful host, Mariagrazia, who radiated warmth and charm and couldn’t do enough to make our stay feel special. Would go again in heartbeat - suggest you do too.

The location is great and the rooms and common areas are well designed. We would strongly consider going here again. The listing confused us a bit - when booking we thought that it was with private parking, but you have to park in one of the big parking houses and walk for a bit. Not a big problem and the host can guide you.
