We were picked up free of charge from the Whoosh station and were granted early check-in as well as a one-hour late check-out (subject to availability). They even provided a complimentary cake for my mother’s birthday and wrote a birthday note on the mirror despite the short notice. The facilities for kids were excellent and all complimentary, including one hour of bicycle rental. The breakfast was also excellent, offering a wide variety of dishes, including local favorites such as batagor, cilok, and cuanki. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Mason Pine.

Note: The property consists of two wings: Pine Wing – the newer building, offering standard rooms (Pine Deluxe, etc.). Mason Wing – the older building, but fully renovated, with upgraded rooms such as Mason Executive. 👉 Suggestion: choose Mason Wing for comfort, or Pine Wing for a more economical option. The Pine lobby tends to be busier during check-in/out. 🌳 Location & Atmosphere The hotel sits right in the middle of Kota Baru Parahyangan (KBP), the largest modern township in Padalarang. The surroundings are green, peaceful, and family-friendly. Access is convenient, especially being close to Padalarang Whoosh Station. ✅ Positives Strategic location within KBP, near Whoosh Station. Refreshing green views and mountain scenery (request “mountain view” when booking, subject to availability). Large swimming pool, very kid-friendly. Cleanliness & staff hospitality are excellent. Outdoor green field for morning/evening sports and fun activities (mini soccer, giant volleyball, archery, kites, traditional games). On special holidays, indoor games are also provided in the ballroom. Afternoon teatime with snacks, enjoyable in the calm evening atmosphere. Breakfast is delicious, with wide variety and managed in three batches to avoid crowding. Parking slots are plentiful (outdoor only). Smooth check-in/out process, staff are efficient and warm. Executive King bedroom is spacious, with a large comfortable bed, modern bathroom, and complete amenities. Free-flow drinking water is a nice touch. ⚠️ Points to Consider No basement parking, so cars can get hot under the sun or inconvenient during rain. More suitable for staycation than city exploration, as it’s far from Bandung’s downtown cafes/entertainment. If coinciding with large events (weddings, corporate outings), the hotel can feel crowded and noisy. 🎯 Conclusion Hotel Mason Pine is definitely worth trying, and you’ll likely want to return—especially during school holidays. The variety of physical activities helps children disconnect from gadgets/TV, creating joyful moments for both kids and parents.

- bhimar2017 (10/5): Best Family retreat near Bandung - West Java - This hotel close to Bandung city is a very good hotel for family with children. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, clean and well maintained. Each room has a balcony overlooking the beautiful swimming pool, kid activities area as well as the mountainous area of Bandung. Breakfast was excellent, so many choices and they even had a special area for kids too pick their favorite breakfast meals. Kids pool was heated, very convenient to play the water slides while the pool for adults is probably Olympic size but with a resort vibe. Indoor playground was a real treat for the kids to play. If you want to try restaurants outside the hotel, just cross the road and you can find so many nice restaurants to choose from. We had a very great time and will come back one day !

- Ullman (9/5): It was short and brief I booked later at night - I do like this hotel however the hotel lobby was quite large, larger than any hotels I’ve stayed and the location of the room from the lobby was quite distant and to be honest I had problem finding the elevator to my room because it was quite far from the lobby I had to ask staff a few times how to locate it I would love to see signs to indicate where the elevator to the room is

On the final night we asked at the help desk for a 6am alarm call and transport to the Whoosh station. The staff assured it would be sorted but in the morning there was no alarm call and a taxi had to be organised at the last minute.

- YukoRD (10/5): Mason Pine the Best family hotel - I need to tell everyone how sweet and lovely this hotel. We spent time in the peak time. December. The hotel was fully booked, but since check in to checking out I did't get any unpleasant experience. We spent 3 days, 2 nights. With big family. The room : big, clean, complete amenities. I'm staying at Pine Deluxe Twin room. When we arrived the staff gave my children Mason Pine dolls, 2 dolls for every kid. And we experienced very special Tendon Service every night, this is turn down time service to make up yout bed before sleep. We never get this experience even at five stars hotel before. Very good service from the housekeeping team. Especially Mr. Budi & Mr. Hasan. The Facility : Because we stay during school holiday, the hotel offering many facilities. A big playground hall, delman, becak, movie and game room, face painting and many more. And of course we all love the swimming pool. Maybe the best kids pool hotel in Bandung. Also, they have jacuzzi in the locker room. Very nice. The Service : there's time. My daughter fall down in the trampoline and I rushed to my room to treat her. And then the staff from the playground come to my room and bring medicine, offering go to hospital nearby. And after few time, and the day after. The Receptionist Ms.Endah still checking out about my daughter conditions. That's a very proactive care and thoughtful service that's I never experienced in other hotel. Great Overall, Mason Pine is one of the best family hotel in Indonesia. And I highly recommend to come.

- CahyadiPakeh (10/5): Memorable Family staycation - The hotel design and interior decoration are warm and welcoming. Employee grooming was consistent at the front office and FB outlets. They were smiling and able to recognise me throughout our staycation. Rooms were clean and well maintained and child friendly, no sharp furniture. Bathroom was clean and had strong shower pressure, not to mention the classy bath amenities. Our family enjoyed the playground and swimming pool so much. I missed to ride bicycle around the complex. My suggestion would be on additional items for afternoon tea.

- Marscha (9/5): - Het hotel is erg fijn en ondanks de grootschaligheid ervan toch rustig. Wij hebben in 2 verschillende kamers gezeten. De Mason kamers vonden wij top! De Pine kamers waren ietsje minder (vooral erg gehoorig), maar opzich prima. Het zwembad is ook top! Het personeel super vriendelijk en het restaurant ook heel goed. Ik heb een glutenallergie. En het hotel ging hier super mee om! Genoeg mogelijkheden en ook keken ze met me mee wat ik wel en niet kon eten en pastte ze de gerechten voor me aan. Echt super! Het Pine gedeelte is erg gehorig. Verder niks op aan te merken.

- Fearless20984317062 (10/5): one of our memorable stay - Stayed for one night to get out of the city’s hustle and bustle, it was our first time staying here and it was great! the room is clean, tidy, and comfortable. for the breakfast everything tastes great. i really love the pool and bikes guests can use, its so much fun! i really appreciate mr. Reynaldi from the front office staff he provide us lot of information to enjoy the hotel’s facility while helping us with our luggage. and special thanks to ms. elsa from in room dining she was very attentive to what we need also mr. zihad who sent us the food, they really provide us a very good service. overall we had a very pleasant stay, thank you mason pine, keep it up!
