Guest Reviews
- John (6/5): - your living in the center of all the action which is cool but very noisy after a while.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - 予約をしていったのにも関わらず、予約がないと言われ、確認に手間がかかりました。ホテルの両替のレートも良くないし、シャワーも冷水。値段相応かなぁと。
- NARPAL SINGH (4/5): not reccomand to stay here - room is too small not as shown on picture the place where the hotel is located is in the area is not a good area as it is not a safe area for family or anyone but only advantage it is close to the train station and does not have hot water in the shower and shower too small to even sit in .the hallway where room is there is no light to see where we are going
- Oswald (8/5): - ニューデリー駅に近いきれいなホテル。喧騒の中でも安心して過ごせる。
- Ali (10/5): Very nice and comfortable Hotel - Excellent service, Enjoyed during my stay at this facility.
- AK (4/5): Dirty stinky towels and crampy room size. - There were no towels at the hotel. When asked for it, was provided with dirty and stinky towels. Room size was much smaller than description on Expedia. Booked executive room, but was given standard room. Will never stay there or recommend anyone to stay there.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent, easy stay, nice staff, room didn't have any window.
- scientist (4/5): A recent stay - The hotel is located in a very crowded and noisy street. The noise levels were very high even late in the night. The furniture in the room is old and door locks need replacement. We never got hot water. The rooftop restaurant is ok. However, food is not healthy with very limited choices. Overall, not a good hotel.
- Moody (6/5): Centrally Located Hotel - Delhi Railway Station - Enjoyed our stay here because of the location of the hotel in the market and near the metro to the airport and railway station. The place is relatively safe for men and couples, I would not recommend it for solo ladies travelers.
The check in staff was initially rude as they seemed to profile us before we checked in, then realized that we actually had a reservation and were nice. The porter was rather unprofessional, did not seem to understand the concept of personal space and seemed to linger much longer in our room even when we said clearly that we needed to get some rest and would contact him in case we had questions. The hotel has no down elevator, so you will need to carry your luggage downstairs when checking out, can be cumbersome depending on the # of floors.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Don't do it! - This horrible excuse for a "hotel" has taken the mantle as the worst place I have ever stayed in. My travel agent recommended it and I suspect she did so accidently because surely no self-respecting travel professional would subject anyone to this disgusting place. Expedia should really take it off its listing. It's only redeeming quality is that the Wi-Fi was great - probably because I was the only guest staying there and therefore using it.
- Andre (2/5): Do not stay at this hotel! - Location of the hotel is very bad, during night streets are desert and seems to be quite dangerous. Also very noisy during the night with dogs barking, cars honking and people talking very loud on the streets.
On the floor of my room there was a person sleeping in the corridor on a sleeping bag. Rooms was quite dirty with some small insects walking around the floor. Bed sheet also does not look to be pretty cleaned and also there were some holes on it. Towels that were supposed to be white were quite yellow.
Bath was quite dirty as well with the same similar insects walking around. On the sink there some camphor balls spread around, that I don't exactly for what. Soup and shampoo provided by the hotel had a very bad smell. Also important to mentioned that on the bathroom there is no separation from the shower and the rest of the bathroom. In a summary, would not suggest to stay on this hotel.
- RISHI (6/5): Close to Delhi Airport - we were 3 friends & booked the suite but there was no key to the room. also the breakfast didn't had much options. staff was friendly. hotel was close to airport.
- Erwin (8/5): Nice place to stay in Main Bazar Road - The hotel is located along Main Bazar Road which is really busy during day time due to a lot of stores along the street. Luckily, the hotel gota huge sign board so I didn't have a hard time finding it.
The reception area is clean and nice. The hotel personnel are friendly and very accommodating. The room is clean though it was a bit small. Got cable tv (english channels available) and free wifi. kitchen is open 24hrs which is a plus. you can order food anytime and i find the food okay. I wasn't able to dine at the rooftop restaurant as it was being renovated.
it was pretty close to the metro and NDLS. you have to cross the overpass over NDLS to reach the metro. tuktuks are also available at the end of the street. beware of "New Delhi Traffic".
Overall, i enjoyed my experience. I will consider this hotel again when i return in Delhi.
- Rohit (4/5): Good location, fast wifi. Good for backpackers. - good location, inside a busy market close to the main train station. wifi was fast. But the hotel needs to improve on the basic amenities they provide For Ex: had to ask for soap and toilet paper. Very basic rooms fit for the money paid.
- Daniel (6/5): Basic, clean, ideal - Basic but clean rooms in the heart of the Main Bazar. Currency exchange, taxi and tour/trip booking all available at reception.
With it being located in the Main Bazar it is very noisy all hours of the day and night. Short taxi or tuk tuk ride to main sights in Delhi. 2-3 days is more than plenty.
- Tia (4/5): I had mix feelings about this. Keep your eyes open - Upon arriving the lobby was filled with men who leered and were not immediately accommodating. The front desk staff was in the middle of eating lunch (which is fine) but unprofessional as they handled our money and passport between licking their fingers and half listening as they watched TV. However, we had a lovely young man show us to our room who was a very nice man throughout our stay.
Other frustrating includes the vague information on the “Free breakfast.” Please note drinks ARE NOT included. IN addition, keep track of what you spend because we were charged extra for items we did not request but the staff felt inclined to bring us. Luckily, I had all our meals tracked and written down.
Be wary when requesting a taxi. We had a ride arranged for us to the airport and a man in a very broken down (the inside was held together by duct tape) van picked us up. I saw the money extra between the hotel staff and driver but the man claimed we had to pay an airport fee once we arrived. ONE, he dropped us off and did not park, TWO this was an old ticket. But he insisted we pay and would not leave us alone until we did so. Plus, he picked up his “brother” in the middle of taking us to the airport. Therefore, two men arguing with two females in an enclosed space was not ideal.
My friend and I are very experienced travelers so we handled things. But my advice is to be careful and keep an eye out on everyone and everything.
- Verified traveler (6/5): small hotel big name - The location of hotel is near the entrance of main bazzar road, which is a crowded place full of food stalls, shops, hotels and restaurants. The place is full of foreign travelers and of course touts. So if you're backpackers, then this is the right place. It's close to New Delhi metro and railway and another metro station on the west.
The room is ok. Hot water, soap &shampoo (better bring your own 'coz the one they provide really suck). Many towels (with stains cannot be washed off, I guess), 2-person bed, a TV (many channels), a small refrigerator and AC. I spent most of my day outside traveling so I only need shower and a bed actually. For me it's quiet enough to sleep. The roof top cafe sucks. The day I had my breakfast there was only me. And it's very hot 'coz there's no shading.
- traveler (10/5): great value for money in a convenient location - close to railway station and in the busy Main Bazar Rd, but still not overly noisy with Windows facing to the road.
- William (8/5): - Great budget hotel one block from the train station. Check out the roof top restaurant for dinner. Located in the middle of the bazzar!
- Tajendra (2/5): Bad - Room size is not actual as appear in web site. Only one bad space available in room. Ac not working room service too bad.
Over all is to bad experience for me in future in think twice for booking any room through web site.
