Guest Reviews
- Hetti Arachchige (10/5): - Nice view, plenty of restaurants nearby, friendly staff, and lots of space with all the necessary facilities. It’s an amazing place to stay. We needed to extend our checkout by one hour, and the team was very accommodating and supportive. The receptionist was especially helpful. We would definitely visit and stay here again. Nothing to complaint about.
- Nan (9/5): Amazing location - Worth for staying and very easy to access The curtains fabric should have a thicker fabric or duo system blackout with sheer fabric
- Rachel (10/5): -
- Angela (8/5): great value for money - very comfortable bed

- Borghild (8/5): Gerne wieder - Direkt am Meer- schönes komfortables Motel
- Jennifer (10/5): Good Value for Money + Sea Views - Overlooks the beach, as advertised. It was a shame that we only arrived in Napier in the evening so we couldn't enjoy the accommodation as much as we hoped, but the staff were very helpful in accommodating us with a self-check-in, and we enjoyed the views in the morning.
Good sized living room & bedrooms to comfortably put down our luggage as a family of five.
TV was working well, and there was a guidebook on the table for nearby restaurants (plus their respective menus) within walking distance, although a bit pricey. N/A

- Tim (9/5): - Location
- IOANNIS (10/5): Great stay - Best location in Napier with fantastic rooms Nothing negative to say
- Amy (10/5): Best location - Location; room size; good size kitchenette; free use of laundry facilities
- Pascale (7/5): - Nice size room and bathroom. Great view. Easy access to the boardwalk. Easy check-in and checkout. Body wash and conditioner were provided, but not shampoo. The top light bulb above sink didn't work. And, worse of all, a horrible smell came from the bathroom - I had a shower before going out - when I came back close to 10pm.. a smell of rot and mould.. an obvious issue in the grey water system (clogged up?). I left the bathroom top window open at all times (studio 3).
It is my second stay and I am.disappointed.
- Jay (10/5): -
- Arriane Joy (8/5): Good experience with family - Nice place and location. I hope that there is a bath tub in the toilet.

- Michael (10/5): -
- Maurice (10/5): -
- Helena (8/5): - Location Bed wasn't the best and sheets were plasticky
- Derek (8/5): - Good location, sunny room. Value for money. Bed was comfortable. All the kitchen facilities you would expect. Excellent view of the shore & the beach. Handy to stroll to nearby places to get breakfast or dinner. Heating was good (heaters not air con) - we unfortunately visited Napier during a cold snap. Bed was comfortable. More spacious than a standard hotel room. The room we had was a little dated, but fairly well maintained. Sky was available on Tv but there was no ability to stream to tv, or use sky on demand.
- Len (8/5): - Been here a few times, nice spot to see the sunrise, very quiet and relaxing Nothing of note, I'm guessing the current owners are new, they stopped supplying the cookies with the coffee, room 32 isn't much chop, it's right beside the next door hotel carpark where car door slamming seems to be a trend 🙄
- nigel (10/5): -

- Colin (9/5): Relaxing and a quiet peaceful base to explore Napier from - My wife and I have stayed here many times and all the rooms have been excellent. Overlooking a safe swimming beach and near some lovely cafes and restaurants it is an ideal place to relax. Quiet and ideal for couples or families.
- KristinaMarie86 (9/5): Overall, i would stay again. Very nice people, nice town, standard room with amenities. - The view was really good, nice and quiet and i even asked if i could check in an hour earlier than normal and they were happy to accommodate. Staff were friendly. I didnt like the pillows but that has nothing to do with the venue. I also didnt like the shower, was very hard to turn up to a hotter level and had to move it with some strength to ensure you didnt move it to far or you would get burned.
- Nicholas (5/5): -
- Ann (9/5): -
- Marikit (8/5): Recommended for groups. - View, close to sea. Spacious room. Old facilities, need an upgrade. No aircon.
- Egan-Cunningham (9/5): Fab views and location - Great location, good value for money, clean, comfortable and fabulous views 👌 Nil complaints

- Larissa (10/5): - It was a last minute change of plan that had me book in, but it was a great spot, right on the coast, with a spacious room that had everything required for a night's stay. Fantastic!
- David (10/5): Another great stay. - This property is in a great location, just across the grass to the walkway and beach, and just around the corner from shops & cafes. They have well equipped and spacious rooms, spotlessly clean. Nothing at all.
- Theresa (7/5): Really enjoyed this place - Perfect location, beautiful views The plunger coffee pot was dirty
- Kiwilou (9/5): Value for money - Clean
Value for money
Was running late and they messaged to say they would leave the key for us.
- Starza (10/5): -
- Xenia (9/5): Superb location - The location was the real standout. Right on the ocean beside the boardwalk that takes you past the port and into town. The fridge could have been a bit quieter. There didn’t seem to be any shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.
- Jenny (9/5): - Everything
- Walter (10/5): - Excellent value, very clean and friendly and helpful staff we
- Tania (8/5): - Ocean sea view
Spacious unit.
Good shoer pressure. A bit outdated, but had everything on hand.
- Moira (10/5): -
- Rosalind (8/5): - Good location, easy to find, close to a good range of restaurants.
- Paul (8/5): -
- Lillian (6/5): Mediocre - Location There wasn't a view. Dated decor
- Kevin (8/5): -
- Darren (10/5): - Everything room was big, clean and in great location N/A
- Lynne (8/5): Quite and comfortable stay - Location was great. Didn’t actually realise that you did a breakfast, that would have been helpful Bathroom needs a bit of TLC
- Vipul (5/5): - Amazing views! Great location. The bathroom needs serious attention. No pressure in the shower.. Taps breaking off the wall..
Pillows way too high..
The views from the bedroom and lounge would be even more stunning had the windows been cleaned.
- Michelle (10/5): - Brilliant location, right on sea, close to village centre. Only a 4k walk along sea to central Napier.
- Peter (9/5): Beautiful views and quiet. - Beautiful location with sea view. Adequate parking. We had the executive suite which had a good size lounge and living area separate from the bedroom. Was surprisingly quiet. No complaints - everything was good. One of the other guests decided his need was greater than ours and parked in our spot - the management soon shifted them on!
- KM (8/5): A great motel right on the beach! - Location and the view are great! The kitchen was big enough for a bit of cooking and the beds are comfortable. There are good quality washers and dryers on site at no charge - that is a nice bonus! There's a nice lawn and then the beach -no streets to cross. And the beach is a great swim-beach - the water is pretty warm and such a beautiful blue! We would stay here again! Not much to complain about: the property is a bit dated, but everything worked.
- Igor (8/5): -
- David (10/5): Two night stay - Such a nice location looking out over beach and bay. Convenient to shops, cafes, restaurants. Comfortable bed and overall a well equipped apartment. Nothing at all
- Sandy (9/5): Very relaxing - So close to beach front. Perfect
- David (8/5): Very good stay in a lovely neighbourhood - Well situated property in lovely neighbourhood with a view to the harbour, and a spacious unit with a big bed. Parking was handy, and the access to the stairs was good. Nothing important. Oddly there was three of everything in the kitchen (plates, knives, spoons, mugs etc) and yet only one chair at the table.
