• Okeroa (10/5): Down right awesome place and a peaceful environment and will visit again. - My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at LKNZ LODGE it was very well placed with a nice view of mount Ruapehu next time we plan to book e bikes to explore all the trails with spectacular views. • Kristy jane (10/5): Don't hesitate to book!!! Do it NOW!! - The manager/owner was VERY accommodating, we had a late check in and she was still there to welcome us and help us find our way. She made it very clear that if we needed anything through the night that we could call the after hours phone. The room was clean and suited our family. The facilities were on, even used the sauna and spa which was a treat after a big day at the rodeo. Our beds were really comfortable and overall we had an awesome stay. Highly recommend 👌 That we didnt stay longer 😁

• J (9/5): Nice accommodation right next to Tongariro National Park - The budget rooms are small but sufficient for one person and they have a heating which was much appreciated. I loved the spa (hot tub and sauna) which comes at a small extra charge but if you're lucky, you may have it all to yourself! But the best was the staff, they were so friendly and welcoming and even gave me a lift to the train station when I left! For budget rooms, you have to go outside to reach the washrooms which can be chilly at night. Right over the entrance to my room, there was a lamp that attracted many insects and when opening my door, some of them always came in - it would be better if the lamps were in between the entrances.

• Noémie (7/5): - The bed was comfortable and the shared kitchen was spacious. The bathroom in the shared space is luxurious. For one night definitely a solid choice. I wish they had told me that the sirens only summon the local firefighters. I got really scared when they wet off at 6am because I thought it was an earthquake and I had no idea what to do. I was the only guest in that section, which made things worse.

• Curtis (4/5): Could be great. Wasn’t. - The staff were great, the location was great, the bathroom and lounge were very nice for shared accommodation and I appreciated the cafe discount. The room hadn’t been cleaned, even though I was told it was ready and was checked in. The bin was half full of rubbish, one of the small towels was tossed up and had a reddish brown stain on it and the bed was unmade. I didn’t make a complaint because I was half-expecting someone to come by to clean it properly, then when I came back in the evening and saw it hadn’t been I just couldn’t be arsed. That’s on me. There was one clean folded towel and one extra, clean folded blanket on the shelf and I just made due. I was also surprised there was no lamp, just one very bright overhead light. All packaged under a stricter no refunds policy than I've seen in a while. I've been through a fair few hostels and shared facilities accommodation over the past week on a random trip and this was both the worst and the most expensive. Which I'm sorry to have to say because the positives were indeed positive.

• Amber (10/5): - We’ve stayed here on a few occasions and been lucky enough to get the same room with incredible mountain view each time (king studio with ensuite). We think this accommodation is excellent value and having 2 spa pools and a sauna is a lovely bonus at the end of a day at the mountain or doing outdoor pursuits. Can easily walk to Main Street for shops, eateries and coffee etc. will always return. Thanks for another great stay.
• Ans (9/5): I felt home away from home. - Liked the location as we did a day trip to the mountain. Liked the sauna/spa . Enjoyed the kitchen set up and upstairs lounge area to relax after a day in the snow before traveling home the next morning. Very friendly staff! The neighbour's were a bit loud early in the morning when they left to go to the mountain. But not a big deal
