- Louielyn P. (10/5): Y2 Residence - We had a wonderful staycation at Y2 Residence! The ambiance was really relaxing, cozy, and perfect for unwinding. The staff were accommodating, and the place was clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely worth visiting. The only downside for me was the security deposit fee, which was a bit pricey. It would be better if it were more affordable or clearly explained beforehand. Still, aside from that, I truly enjoyed my stay and would consider coming back.

- Daniel (8/5): - I had a very enjoyable stay at Y2 Residence Hotel. The staff was consistently polite, professional, and helpful throughout my visit, which made the experience especially welcoming. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping the room clean and well maintained with reliable daily service. One of the highlights of the property was the rooftop pool area, which offered a great place to relax and unwind after a busy day in the city. The fitness gym was also well maintained and convenient for keeping up with workouts during my stay. The location was another major advantage, with many quality restaurants, cafés, and entertainment options all within easy walking distance. It made exploring Makati very convenient without needing transportation for most outings. Overall, Y2 Residence Hotel provided excellent value for the price with comfortable accommodations, good amenities, attentive staff, and a very convenient location. I would gladly stay there again on a future visit. Slow elevators...stairs are available but, not a preferred option for higher floors.

- Dr Parry in Bath (10/5): Excellent value for money backed up by a fantastic on-site team - The one bedroom deluxe is a large room that probably the largest room in it's price range in Manila. The kitchenette is great for preparing your own meals or reheating take away/deliveries and the large fridge is large enough for a weeks supply of groceries and drinks. All members of the whole Y2 team are excellent and cannot do enough to help you during your stay. The Y2 is in an excellent location for food and groceries as it is less than a 5 minute walk from the Century City Malla and complex that has a great supermarket and multiple dining options as well as being in right in the main area of Pobla which is one of the most vibrant districts in Metro Manila. Overall, an excellent experience. Based on an overall value for money point of view there is nothing negative to say about the Y2.

- Anthony (5/5): Property I feel is a 2 borderline 3 star accommodation and ok for the location - The location was handy to restaurants, grocery stores, pubs etc, room had a small kitchenette with 120 ltr fridge, microwave, cooktop which was great. Gym you can make work. Room cleaned daily with free water supplied. Staff were very helpful, polite and always smiling. Pool was very small with only 3 sun beds. Bed was very hard and the misses struggled with it. Breakfast was ok I guess, you could slightly modify the set menu but was greasy and un organised at times. Property it self could do with a little maintenance. 2 Air cons in the gym and our room didn’t work very well. We reported a couple faults, 1 being the a/c and 1 the shower head pissing out water, neither were seen to during our stay. No negatives about all the staff they are great !

- Marie (1/5): - Do yourself a favor and NEVER book a stay here, especially if you are a solo female traveler. This is hands down the most disgusting and unprofessional hostel I have ever stepped foot in. The hygiene standards are non-existent. The toilets and bins were literally overflowing with shit and filth. The rooms smell musty and are hot with Little ventilation. There is barely any space for your luggage, and the beds are made of plastic. You’re expected to sleep under a bare fleece blanket without a cover. The breaking point was the "guests" and the staff's reaction to them. An older man in my dorm spent the entire night coughing and started drinking beer at 8 AM. After he checked out, he sat by the pool openly touching and scratching his genitals and ass in a revolting manner. When I reported this disgusting behavior to the staff and told them I felt uncomfortable, they ignored me. The breakfast staff is incredibly rude. It feels like you are a burden just for existing. From the physical state of the building to the total lack of decorum from the employees, this place is a dump. I felt unsafe and disgusted the entire time. Stay far away!

The hotel is clean, comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. The room was spacious and well-maintained, with good air conditioning and basic amenities provided. We had no time t explore the functional area, but we enjoyed the rooftop pool and the nice city view. It is a great place for both short stays and longer visits.
