Traveling to Columbus two days later, received a call from the hotel telling me that they didn’t have a room for me and that I would have to find another place to stay…no advanced notice, literally halfway there to check in. I had to make another reservation while driving to another hotel. Their excuse was their computer system was not updated and overbooked. Pitiful!

- FredB556 (2/5): Warning Do not book here period!!!! - My wife and I arrived after a long drive from Atlanta only to be informed that our room along with many others had been cancelled due to overbooking. We were told that Expedia had been notified of the cancellation but we had never been notified by Hyatt or Expedia. We ended up having to drive back to Tuscaloosa and pay an exorbitant room fee but were fortunate. We were not offered any assistance or on site remediation only a smart aleck good luck. We will never trust this hotel chain again and we travel often. The hotel manager should be relieved of responsibility as he was rude and not caring in the least. This is not the way to treat customers.

- JeffreyBacot (4/5): Needs improvement before I would consider going back - My experience was less than great. The first bad sign was a broken shower tray. Followed by slow WiFi. I thought it was because the hotel was full but the next day when it was mostly empty it was still unusable slow. The final straw was waiting an hour and finally giving up on asking for a burger for dinner before heading out to fly home. I should have just gone out to one of the local restaurants like I did the 2 previous nights.

When checking out we were told they were super busy that weekend and that’s why none were available. Never heard that in my entire life with all the hotels I’ve stayed in.

Breakfast was great...eggs, sausage, yogurt, fruit, cereal, different nice breads to toast, French toast sticks! 2 Queen bed room was well equipped for 4 persons., ie plenty of towels. Only reason given a bit low score...the shower head was dirty, some mildew around the water spouts. Needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Very clean For the price of the rooms, I think they should’ve have a better breakfast selection. Cereal & toast is not a breakfast for a $70 plus room.
- N2FOTOS (6/5): For the area, this hotel was a great option! - The HP hotel in Columbus, MS was OK, but the staff paled in comparison to the DFW HP Staff. The breakfast was pretty good, but they don't have a good grasp on providing proper food or drinks for guests during the late night snack hours. They had zero red wine, really? Some of their evening staff members need a refresher course in Customer Service.

- 48casm (6/5): Sub Par Stay - I don’t think I would recommend this hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again. It has all the basic needs, I just thought Hyatt was a nicer hotel. The room size was nice but the bathroom in our room was dirty with mold on the bath mat. The dresser wouldn’t stay closed and with young kids I was concerned with it falling over with the drawers not staying shut. There’s no water dispenser from what I could tell in the hotel so expect to buy some water bottles. There’s also no waffle or pancake maker for breakfast that we told our kids about, I thought that was in every hotel that offers a buffet breakfast but I guess not. The pool was fine, the staff brought out more towels while we were out there. Overall the staff was friendly but I honestly couldn’t tell sometimes who was staff and who wasn’t with what they were wearing. Some looked in uniform and some were just wearing random shirt. They were friendly just made it seem unprofessional.

The breakfast was subpar for a hotel. The hot food was fine that they cooked but hardly any options outside of that. There were no pancake or waffle makers. The only water available in the entire hotel was from a 3 gallon pitcher at breakfast so you definitely need to buy bottled water from them or Walmart next door if you’re staying more than a night.

So the extra day that i gave you guys being that i didn't stay the time booked, go ahead and use it towards updated furniture and GET RID OF THE BATHTUB.. EWEWWWWWWWWWW

- Juliann (10/5): The staff made all the difference in this space. They were polite, helpful, and kind during our stay. We highly recommen - The staff at the desk and in the breakfast area were fantastic. They were kind and accommodating. We had an issue with our room and they moved us no questions asked. N/A
- Susan (5/5): Charges false fees - The room was comfortable. The property was fine. They did offer a decent continental breakfast. My dissatisfaction is the fact that they charged me $75 for a pet cleaning fee when I did not have a pet. I talked with the manager to get this refunded and the manager Never got back with me again reached out for the manager and they never got back with me. I will never stay at a Hyatt again.
- Sasha (4/5): Check your room door… - It was close to Longhorn and Starbucks. The layout of the room was nice. Kids enjoyed the pool. Our room door would not automatically lock. I had to let the front desk receptionist know and she mentioned that house keeping forgets to reset doors after cleaning the rooms. SCARY!!!! Also, our room was very dusty.

- ETHEL (6/5): - MSU cadet summer camp is the reason for our 1 day trip. We chose to stay at the Hyatt. The staff was very friendly and sweet. The breakfast great, and the breakfast lady, Ms. Candy was great nice. She is a blessing. The pool area is spacious amd nice. The carpet smells in the room and in the hallway. The carpet has to go.

- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - I’m from out of town and had saved my cash I didn’t know that it was cards only :( But the ladies at the front sealed helped me some much and was patient with me!!!
