Laura (9/5): Great Airport Location - This comfortable property had everything we needed for our one night stay. Within a short walk, you could be down at the waterfront. On your way down Parker to the beach walk was a great little fish and chip (Fishy Business) take out. The property also has a washer and dryer, but if you have more than one load, there’s a coin up a few blocks down on Parker as well. No complaints

Barry (7/5): A very enjoyable stay in clean comfortable accommodation. - The studio unit was very clean and comfortable and well located for both the nearby Tahunanui Beach and the city itself. I didn’t realise when I booked it that the unit has no stove or cooktop although it does have a microwave so you can at least reheat food. There is also no table and chairs for eating meals comfortably.

Chesterfield (8/5): Returning guest — love it here and will be back again! - I’ve stayed here before and chose Amber Court again because of the consistently excellent experience. The owners are friendly, welcoming, and go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. The units are updated with thoughtful touches like boutique toiletries, generous towels, and a Nespresso Vertuo machine with capsules for great coffee. The location is very convenient — close to the airport, shops, supermarket, and beach. They were also very accommodating, providing a shower chair on request, offering an accessible unit, allowing a late checkout at no extra cost, and storing my luggage before my flight. A warm, down-to-earth place with little luxuries that make your stay special. I would happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nelson. The only minor issue was the internet, which was a bit unreliable during our stay, especially in our room (Room 16, further from reception). The owners had recently changed providers and were doing their best to sort it, which I really appreciated. Last stay it was not an issue, the only issue was leaving! I cannot wait to come back!!!

Lily (7/5): - It was located well in Nelson. We had a vehicle so we were able to drive to most places very easily. Our room was comfortable enough too. The staff were welcoming and helpful which I appreciated. Minimal facilities for the amount we paid. No kitchenette sink, so dishes were washed in a plastic tub in the bathroom. Very minimal greenery around the motel property, mostly concrete spaces, so sitting outside was not pleasant at all. There's potential to this place.

Renae (9/5): - The room was large and airy, spacious enough for our luggage and for us to still have space to relax. The location was close to town without being in the centre, which we liked. There was also a trampoline and BBQ for use, which we made some use of while we were there. The laundry was quite expensive ($6 per wash and per dryer load) and the dryer required 2 runs to dry a single load of clothes, with some still damp. This was frustrating, but in fairness, I forgot to mention it to the staff before we checked out, too.

There is walkable distance to amenities. 2) Motel owner/keeper offered us free lift from motel to the airport. 3) Spa bath There is no reading light. Light switch is too far from the bed.
