Got beautiful and chills restaurant TerraSky upstairs.😍 Overall okay, worth as the price paid.
Other to improve maybe th3 towels need to change to new aldy, seems bit old but its okay as long as it clean..😬
- Abdul (8/5): Nice experience - I didnt take the breakfast option but went for dinner. The food was extremely good, the live performance was lovely and really worth the money. I asked for queen size bed but end up with 2 single beds. My husband just combined the bed and we're good

- Verified traveler (8/5): Good prospects but really need maintainance. - The executive room I got was spacious, but it was a bit dirty and run down. The laminate floors looked nice, but were sticky, rather dirty and had a funny smell, as if someone puked before. The room had a "toilet sewage" smell from time to time. The reception was kind enough for provide air fresheners which helped. Aircon position isn't suitable and rather warm in the room. Big & modern TV. Breakfast was OK, but less satisfactory on 2nd day due to an event occupying the top floor.
- Qhaira (10/5): Exceptional -
- Akbar (7/5): Good -
- Mohamed (4/5): Disappointing -
- Rea (7/5): Good -
- Ainamjs (8/5): Ask if the sink is in the bathroom or not - Room service 24H, rooftop cafe 24H, clean bathroom, clean room although tad small, helpful staff will help to find a cab for you. Small bed - quite smaller than what I expected. Sink out of the bathroom - it will wet the floor
- Luna (10/5): really recommended and 5 🌟 overall - clean rooms, good & honest staff, strategic location to go every where and FO fulfilled my request 👍🏻
- James (8/5): Very good -
- suppayahs2023 (10/5): A nice and comfortable stay. - The reception is very friendly, prompt, and helpful. The hotel rooms were tidy and clean. The restaurant served tasty and simple traditional items for breakfast which was an attraction to travelers to try local foods. The hotel's spa service was commendable. The location of Transera hotel is close to the town center and other entertainment shopping outlets that give residents choices for activities. Thanks to Ani at the reception who helped us with information that made our onward travel much easier. We would recommend Hotel Transcera to those who are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the town center.
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional -
- Halimah (8/5): Very good -
- 858franzt (4/5): Sleazy hotel, sperm bank dream. - Hotel locates at road ends; off the main street Gajah Mada. Creepy place starts from check in, narrow and noisy elevator ( one operates out of two; cost saving ), require room' magnetic card to open corridor door which did not work. ended back n forth to reception since their magnetic card is f***ed while carrying all luggage. Room is xtremely narrow, window built as a requirement only, bathroom with all purpose gel (shampoo, conditioner and soap all at ones).
- Christopher (8/5): comfy hotel - stayed 3 nights, room is small, no wardrobe, no window,
- Dinanesta (4/5): I was not informed enough - Booked a superior room thinking that it would be like any other superior room. But I was wrong. The room did not have any window, the amenities were very very basics (it didn't even come with a room service menu). There were ants inside the room and also the restaurant. Location wise its quite dodgy and you would have to walk through an alley. I did not like my stay at all hence I asked out check out early and they refused to refund me. No worries. I'd rather check out than stay. So I moved to Orchardz Gajah Mada. Just 10 minutes by foot and had a very satisfying stay in Orchardz instead.
- Yahudar (4/5): Not a 3 star hotel.shocked & frustrated - Early check in at 12.30pm but frontdesk didnt found my booking.Have to wait for them to do the verification.
Given room at level 5 for deluxe room but unfortunately no window for all if this room type.Only Executive room got window.
Room too small.bed linen, cup & kettle are not so clean while towel is obviously dirty, old & torn out.
No mini fridge, no toothpaste & brush(even i didnt need it).
Stayed for 2 nights. When i back to my room, no housekeeping been made. When i go out again after take my bath, i put doorsign to ask them to clean up my room but when i back at 6pm, still no housekeeping. As too tired, i just ask them to send me a new towel & toilet paper.Again, towel is so old and yellowish.
Buffet breakfast just served a simple dish only..Can see ants & small flies at the dessert corner
Location not really at main road.
Staff are polite, friendly and helpful
- yahudar (2/5): Dissapointed..Argueable 3 star rating - Deluxe room is without window.room too small.dirty towel, cup & kettle.Stayed for 2 night but no housekeeping even i put request tag at the door.Just a simple dishes served for breakfast.ants, small also "enjoy" their breakfast there and even a birds.
Good location but not at the main road.staff are helpful and friendly. No welcome drink as per others previous comment.
- cliffb992 (6/5): Not quite the same. - I have stayed at this hotel many times. It is a no thrills kind of a hotel which is well run and kept clean. Last visit my room was clean but in tragic shape. Floor and walls, water damaged. No shower curtain in an already cramped space. No room service menu. The sky terrace restaurant has had a needed makeover, but it also lost its charm. The staff are as always friendly and helpful, location is great. Yet it lacks that certain something... Shame Really.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Well, Budget Cut Means Satisfaction Cut - Well, I don't know if this hotel desperately cut their budget. They don't provide facial tissue, unless you ask for it. Only 1 toothbrush and sandal in room. And they do not provide any soap bar anymore. You need to request it.
- Mukhlisin2016 (6/5): You get what you pay - Transera hotel is centrally located, the room is small, the room facilities are very standard,
the staff are friendly, they have terasky located at 8th floor, the rate is quite cheap, considered all other hotels in town are fully booked due to national event
- 13raisar (8/5): Value for Money - Very strategic located and well manage. It located near Abang Kepiting Restaurant, and Gajahmada Street which is a centre of Pontianak coffee shop and shopping centre. The restaurant on the roof is very nice and preety. We can hang out while enjoying the breeze and Kapuas River scenery. It's really a value for money hotel.
- Janie_traveloid (10/5): I could not have been happier! - Excellent hotel and great value for money. Right in the heart of Pontianak, comfortable and clean. But what really makes this place stand out is its wonderful staff. It is thanks to them that my trip was so much better than I ever expected. Thanks a million to the General Manager, Mr Patris, to Annisa, Lia and Ari. They looked after me as if I was a dear friend, an attitude so rare and precious in this fast-paced world. They organised all my sightseeing in Pontianak and around West Kalimantan. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
- E5319UMnancyb (4/5): Overnight in Indonesian Sarawak - A basic hotel in an interesting Portside trading town. This hotel is tucked away but still central
Clean , a good breakfast .
We dined on the roof top , ok but very slow service.
We felt safe and it as good to explore
- MissZEZ (6/5): Good but not so good. - I consider everything is ok, just the arrangement in the room i don't really like and their room is very small and not practical. The lighting very poor especially the light in front of the mirror. You can get better hotel with the same price.
- cliffb992 (10/5): I cannot help myself. - I have stayed at Transera many times.
I still believe that for the price it is difficult to find a better option, at least for me.
Location is spot on. The service is excellent and punching above it's weight.
The staff is friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The rooms are functional, clean and comfortable. Sure you can always pin point, but let's not forget the pricing...
A big thank you to Pak Patris and Pak Candy for their hospitality in my second home.
- tmukadis (6/5): good decent hotel - quiet new hotel, location behind the Aston hotels, good location, easy to find a local restaurant, plenty of local coffee shops, the car park was too small. the hotel suitable for business trip or solo travelers.
- JulieAnnSherlock (8/5): Customer service at its best - The moment I arrived in the hotel I felt at home. Candy and his staff really went the extra mile to make my stay lovely. Friendly, helpful and always smiling, the staff are what make this place so good.
The room was small, but clean and comfortable so no complaints there. The bar and restaurant are very nice and I enjoyed the food. The spa was great and I had such a wonderful massage.
If am ever back in Pontianak, there is nowhere else I would consider staying. Thank you Candy and co for making me feel so comfortable and at home.
- Wan Mohamad (8/5): - The strategic location of the hotel made the hotel my choice to stay in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
- good (8/5): lokasi yang tepat - ok
- Sheepeth (6/5): No escape from awful music - Everything about this place is pretty good. Clean comfortable room, strong wifi, decent breakfast, good location.
The main downside is that everywhere you go you are not safe from truly awful music, whether it's the bland piano jazz being piped in to the corridors that you can hear in your room, or the saccharine meaningless pop music on full blast in the restaurant. Maybe this isn't the place for you if you value a bit of quiet...
- cindy (8/5): value for money - ok, great location. great value. gonna come back again.
- reimscessna (10/5): Punching above its weight - I have enjoyed staying at this hotel on a few occasions through the years.
The hotel is well managed and with staff truly doing their best to make you feel welcome.
The rooms are a bit bare and perhaps not the largest there are, but they are kept clean and I happily noticed some minor renovations addressing previous minor issues.
The breakfast is more then adequate for the price you pay and there are several options to get your day started on a high note.
For those of us who like to dine in there are plenty to choose from be it either local or western dishes. My tip, go for local as the head chef specialices in Indonesian food.
Location wise there is not much to falter as Transera is located in the heart of the CBD with plenty of food and entertainment outlets at a walking distance.
I happily recommend Transera Hotel for anyone who does not require a kings entourage when travelling. The value is hard to beat and with the 'that special something' added by the staff it is my choice for my Pontianak stay!
- HaniJ794 (6/5): Just Another Averages Hotel in Pontianak With Great service - Nestled in the heart of Pontianak city which close to the gajahmada main street. Stayed 3 night at this hotel, enjoy the service thought my room without the breakfast but plenty to get local food surround the hotel. Pros- free Wifi all place even inside the room, Friendly staff and good service seem the staff generous and try to help on their power. Cons- not enough parking space, waiting time for the lift i think need required good maintenance. There's plenty place to eat like Abang kepiting just around the corner with variety of seafood, Sukahati really nice traditional coffee shop with bread and banana with Srikaya Spreads, Crab Noodle or Mie Kepiting A hua and Nasi campur pasar mawar this one is my favourite while visiting Pontianak. This hotel has rooftop bar which you can see the view of pontianak especially at night while you enjoy the hospitality.
- Willow888 (8/5): Tiny Room, perfect location - The hotel is located just off Gajahmada street and 5 mins walk from ABANG KEPITING. The room is tiny for Indonesian standard but the staff very polite and friendly and rich in local culture. We stayed on the night of Pontianak's anniversary. I was really surprised when they provided FREE local music, performances, and food for all staying guests. Will recommend this hotel for all budget travellers, only $30/night
- graskaas (10/5): Highly recommended. We will be back! - After a long day on our Kalimantan motorcycle tour we arrived at transera hotel unnoticed. I was not feeling too well so I was pleasantly surprised when they arranged a free upgrade of our room! Thank you!
The staff are very friendly and polite. Although not everybody speaks English they will always find someone who does.
The rooms are new and super clean with AC and hot shower. Just what I needed when not feeling well.
A big plus is the excellent rooftop restaurant and bar with a good variation menu. The view of the sunset are really nice.
Upon hearing our story the staff surprised us with a nice honeymoon cake. Wow!
In short the transera really surprised us and is highly recommended!
Best rates are through booking.com.
Ps. Pak Patris thank you we will be back one day for new year and riding together :)
- Freakisha (8/5): Recommended - They're so friendly and helpful. Make up on the room always at 10am and by request. Clean room, good services, and nice food. This hotel right in small alley but really in good maintanance. You can find good seafood restaurant less 100m from the hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location and Reasonable Price - Quite good. What i like most are their service and good view at restaurant. Best price though
- dikurniawanarif (8/5): Value Hotel in pontianak - I have stayed for 2 nights during my business trip in Pontianak. So far the hotel was given me nice room and value to the budget, but something awesome in the Terasky at 8th floor, I can see 360 degrees the city of Pontianak with a cup of coffee also I have made my breakfast in the same time.
- Hilary (8/5): Decent quality at affordable price - At the lane corner behind Aston Pontianak Hotel & Convention Centre. Decent quality at affordable price.
- Grace (8/5): A Good Short Stay - We overnighted here and it was perfectly suitable for this purpose. The complimentary hotel car took us to change money and they arranged an early taxi for us. Would recommend for short stays.
- Ronald Maruli Tua (8/5): Transera Yang Nyaman, Sederhana dan Lengkap - Hotel yang cukup lengkap fasilitas nya dan dekat dengan pusat kota dan cocok untuk keperluan Bisnis.
- Arnold (10/5): perjalanan bisnis - Menyenangkan..
tidur nyenyak.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Transera hotel - Keadaan hotel secara menyeluruh ok tetapi keadaan dalam bilik adalah kecil
- tommy (8/5): budged hotel - Its ok for budged hotel
- Jani (4/5): Average experience - Not an awful hotel, but little worn out.
They weren't able to provide me a non-smoking room and the smoking rooms smelled quite bad
Also the Internet was slow and was cutting out constantly making working or surfing an agony.
The price was cheap (about $20 to $25 USD), but they claimed it was only an offer with normal prices being from 500k IDR to 700t IDR which is way too much compare.d to other hotels nearby
