Our unit was only airconditioned in lounge area so hot nights were uncomfortable in the bedrooms where ceiling fans were not working properly. We tried to watch DVDs but both players didn't work!

• Hayley (8/5): An affordable stay close to the shops - There were 7 of us going for a weeks' holiday. Overall it is a nice resort that I would recommend to my friends. I would consider coming back here definitely. The room we stayed in was modern and had a TV, and we were able to be incredibly loud without a noise complaint. During the night we would hang out by the pool with drinks in hand so it was really relaxing. Just a short walk from the main shops and food places - made getting groceries and dinner easy. It was also easy to get to Surfer's Paradise seeing as you just have to walk to the tram stop and pay around $5. Management was super laid-back - upon checkout we were able to leave our bags at reception, go out for the day, and then come back and chill in the pool area.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - Very Disappointing experience . The resort is old and run down totally not what we were expecting looked great in the pictures .When we expressed our disappointment the Manager provided is with another apartment which was slightly better but still it very disappointing.
• Kaylee (8/5): Close to convention centre - a little dated. - The room was large, with a great living kitchen balcony area. The rooms were good size, but there were a few maintenance items that needed repairing that would have lifted the experience. The views were gorgeous.

The view from the balcony is great,unobstructed sight of the river.Though i would be better with some touch up for the toilet.It's convenient for me as i m going to the gold coast convention centre and a short drive to pacific fair n boardbeach shopping area.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great Value centrally located in Broadbeach Waters - The room that we had was so spacious and comfortable. It had a fully equipped kitchen and laundry too... Perfect for longer stays. We were also within walking distance of the Gold Coast Conference Centre where we attended a conference for two days, and also walking distance to Broadbeach Shopping Area, Pacific Fair Shopping Centre and lots of cafes and restaurants.

• peter (6/5): Not clean and maintained like the photos! - Disappointing. The good things were the friendliness of the managers, the view from our apartment and spaciousness, and the quietness of the place. The disappointing parts ranged from broken glass on the deck (which we had to clean up), not having 5 beds when that is the number required,(The next day the manager bought up a dusty foldout bed but my daughter and grandson had to share the first night - he was busy watching the AllBlacks play so could not bring it up that night) apartment was desperately in need of a revamp, the tiles were broken, the place was not clean, the door locks were not that good, no phone to call manager about problems, drawers and sliding wardrobe doors almost impossible to open, lots of light bulbs did not work, fly screens kept falling off ranchslider and the list goes on and on. The outside area by pool and around complex was not very clean either - hardly saw managers doing anything which to me, is most unusual. Certainly does not look like pictures on website. If it cleans up it's act, I would stay there again because of the spaciousness of the apartment, and peace and quiet, but for us on this one in a lifetime holiday for our family, it was disappointing.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great Location and brilliant for a family stay - We stayed here over the June long weekend with our 4 kids and Nanna. Comfortable rooms and clean. Pool was warm and the whole building is secure. Convenient to shops and restaurants (10min walk). We had a problem with the kitchen tap that was fixed by the time we came back that evening.
