• Maximilian (2/5): Wir haben versucht den Aufenthalt so kurz wie möglich zu halten. - Zentrale Lage In die Jahre gekommen, Silikonfugen der Dusche am schimmeln, Teppich nicht sauber, dreckige Wände, Handabdrücke überm Bett, tote Mücken. Fenster unzureichend gedämmt, bei dem Trubel draußen lässt es sich nicht schlafen. Kopfkissen etwa so hoch wie eine Chipstüte.

Das Hotel ist für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ok. Die kleinen Zimmer, sind ausreichend, aber wirklich sehr klein. Es ist sauber, aber kein Schrank und wenig Bewegungsfreiheit. Das Frühstück ist soweit ausreichend. Man wird satt. Ich persönlich fand es zu wenig sauber im Frühstücksraum.

• Martin (7/5): - Es ist ein einfaches und günstiges Hotel . Die Betten waren sehr bequem .. Das Chek in dauert viel zu lange auch wenn das Zimmer schon über Booking mit allen Angaben gebucht ist .
• Bode (5/5): Für eine Nacht notdürftig akzeptabel - Das freundliche Personal Der Zustand des Hotels welches sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist, auch wenn versucht wird mit einfachen Mitteln es etwas aufzuwerten. Das Andere ist die Situation, dass die Hotel Räumlichkeiten auf zwei sich gegenüberliegende Häuser verteilt, wo der eine Teil direkt neben einem Kiez ähnlichen Kiosk liegt und die Räumlichkeiten des Hotels eher an ein Stundenhotel erinnern.

I arrived at the hotel on April 18, 2026, at around 00:05 and asked the receptionist if there were any available rooms. The receptionist told me that there were no available rooms. 2. I then left the hotel and checked Booking.com, where I saw that rooms were still available. I returned to the reception desk and told the receptionist that rooms were showing as available on Booking.com. I asked if I could make a reservation. 3. The receptionist told me that I could make a reservation. I then made a booking for the night of April 17–18 through Booking.com. I was only planning to stay for about 8 hours anyway. 4. After making the reservation, the receptionist told me that the booking had not yet appeared in their system and that I needed to wait about 5–10 minutes. 5. However, instead of 5–10 minutes, I was kept waiting for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. During that time, there was no progress or update. 6. When I asked again, the receptionist told me that the reservation had finally appeared in the system. However, this time I was told that I needed to pay a €50 deposit. 7. I explained that I had €35 in cash with me, that I also had a €200 banknote, and that I could also pay the deposit by card if needed. 8. However, the receptionist refused to accept the €35, refused to accept the €200 banknote, and also refused to accept a card payment for the deposit. 9. I then asked why I had been kept waiting for so long and why this information had not been explained from the beginning. 10. • Melvin (5/5): Overall, my stay was marked by excellent, friendly staff and a decent breakfast, but the room quality and layout did not - Very friendly and professional staff at both check-in and check-out. They were welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. Breakfast was good, with fresh bread rolls, a nice selection of toppings, fruit, and eggs. The room was very small and narrow for the price paid. The bathroom layout is impractical, with the sink at the entrance and the shower and toilet in one tight space. The shower curtain made the floor wet. There was no suitable space to work, and the Wi-Fi was unsecured.
• Nick_Lrssn (6/5): Prima voor een nacht - De ligging van het hotel is super! Fijn centraal midden in het centrum van Essen. Het ontbijt was prima verzorgd en precies wat je mag verwachten. De broodjes waren vers van de bakker. En je kon uitchecken tot 12u heel fijn. We hebben geparkeerd in de parkeergarage van Contipark genaamd Schützenbahn deze werd geadverteerd op de site van het hotel, wat een verschrikkelijke garage! Het was een woonplaats voor daklozen en junkies.. overal ontlasting en de geur was niet uit te houden heel onveilig! Gelukkig was mijn auto nog heel en waren er geen ruiten ingeslagen. Wat betreft de kamer die we hadden geboekt: we wisten dat het een kleine kamer was, maar het is ook écht heel klein dus houd daar rekening mee....

• Alexia (8/5): Un hôtel pour celles et ceux qui privilégient l'emplacement à la grandeur des chambres - Très bien placé, j'ai pu venir à pieds de la gare et j'ai presque fait tous mes déplacements à pied. Le quartier est vivant et plein de restaurants et de commerces. La propreté de l'hôtel était bonne. Comme mentionné dans les commentaires d'autres clients, les chambres doubles sont vraiment très petites (on ne peut même pas faire le tour du lit et le bureau était vraiment à côté du lit, sans chaise). Pour une personne, c'était correct, mais je recommande aux couples de choisir les chambres de la catégorie supérieure. Aussi, il faisait très chaud pendant mon séjour, et je devais dormir la fenêtre ouverte pour avoir un peu d'air frais, sachant que la rue sur laquelle donnait ma chambre est très animée. C'est à prendre en compte pour les séjours en été.

Das Hotel ist erkennbar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber mein Zimmer schien recht frisch renoviert und war modern-funktional. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bin sehr froh, mich für ein Hotel mitten in der Fußgängerzone entschieden zu haben - etliche Geschäfte und Gastro nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Von dem angeblichen "Lärm", den andere Rezensionen beschreiben, habe ich überhaupt nichts merken können. Dass es überhaupt einen Personenaufzug gibt, ist prima. Er ist allerdings sehr klein, für Klaustrophobe und Rollstuhlfahrer daher weniger geeignet.

• Annefleur (6/5): Horror nacht door lawaai - De kamer was schoon, goede bedden en goede douche. Wat een herrie op straat. NOOIT meer! Wij sliepen er van maandag tot woensdag. De buurt is heel slecht. Er zit een tref punt op de hoek. Het was al heel veel lawaai op straat om half 11 (toen gingen wij slapen) en echt elk uur gezien. Schreeuwende mensen op straat, geen Duitsers heel veel buitenlanders en junks. Beide avonden. Er staat in de straat ook een politie paal met camera’s. Het hotel kan er niks aan doen. Maar voor mij nooit meer !!! Geen oog dicht gedaan tot 3 uur ‘‘s nachts. En vervolgens komt er een busje de straat van alle drank flesjes leeg zuigen om 4 uur ‘‘s nachts. Zelfs op een door de weekse avond echt niet te doen! Boek dit niet ….

Das Bad war ebenfalls winzig Trotzdem war alles sauber. Würd das kleine Doppelzimmer sicher nicht nochmal buchen such wenn der Preis top war Dann lieber das normale Doppelzimmer

Extrem guter Preis inclusive einem reichhaltigen Frühstück. Zimmer einschließlich Bad sauber. Zimmer- und Badgröße überschaubar, für einen Städtetrip ausreichend. Fehlende Parkmöglichkeiten am Hotel selbst.
