• Deluxe Quadruple Room - Tiny House On Wheels

  This tiny house on wheels offers a small space. There are 2 loft bedrooms, 1 with a queen-sized bed and the other 2 single-sized beds. There is a TV, reverse-cycle air-conditioning, fans, a full kitchenette and a BBQ outside on the large deck. There is a small bathroom with a stand-alone shower and vanity with a compost (no smell) toilet off the deck. It has beautiful views over the cow paddocks and rain-forest as well as a fire pit outside. Breakfast and feeding the animals is included in the rate and you have full access to the farm and organic gardens, including collecting fresh eggs daily. Please note that there are stairs and a climbing ladder. This house is not suitable for children under the age of 7.

• Deluxe bungalow with Garden view - Tiny house On wheels

  This is our brand new tiny house, and provides accommodations for four people in an open planned space, with one queen bed on a yard high platform with huge bay window overlooking the native trees. The second bed is a double and you must be comfortable climbing stairs and sleeping in a loft (not suitable for kids under 7) There is a separate shower/bathroom, a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, sandwich press, toaster kettle and a BBQ on deck with a gas burner so everything you need to cook if you choose. There's a TV, ceiling fan, reverse cycle aircon, bluetooth stereo, and USB charging points. There's a huge deck with bbq and dining, a very fancy no smell compost loo and even a claw foot outdoor bath. Breakfast and feeding the animals is included in the rate.

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease, welcomed by the peaceful surroundings and Emma’s warm hospitality. The tiny house was beautifully set up—cozy, thoughtfully designed, and the perfect place to slow down and unwind. Each day brought simple, memorable moments—collecting fresh eggs in the morning, wandering through the veggie patch, and joining in on feeding the animals, which was such a highlight. As the sun dipped, the farm transformed into something truly special. Evenings by the fire pit, followed by incredible stargazing, made for the perfect end to each day. Waking up early was absolutely worth it, with breathtaking sunrises, and we were lucky enough to catch a stunning moonrise as well. It’s the kind of place that makes you pause, breathe, and appreciate the little things. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with authentic farm experiences and a touch of magic, Emma’s farm stay is an absolute gem.

The tiny home was so fun to stay in and had everything we needed. Rustic vibe and everything sustainable, but aircon, shower pressure, hot water etc all on point, so also felt luxurious. The farm setting made it a very special place to stay. Everything was perfect.

• Hrh_ (10/5): Absolute must try - Oh wow we loved our stay here at Blackwattle. We stayed in the Tall Gum tiny house and it was just gorgeous, it had everything we needed. The deck makes this property - it rained pretty much our whole stay but it didn’t matter too much as we still felt like we were outdoors and enjoying everything the property had to offer. The beds were comfy, outdoor tub brilliant! The shops weren’t even a 5 minute drive and once you had some groceries you truly didn’t need to leave. The view from the deck is just stunning. The breakfast provided is a lovely touch, so is the farm gate and the feeding tour. Even though the other homes/cabins are close proximity it doesn’t feel like it at all, our area felt very private. We will definitely be back again. Too many cushions haha might seem ridiculous but we have kids so having so many pillows meant they were always everywhere. We could put a lot away with the storage provided but then there were also two big fur like blankets that couldn’t fit and took up a lot of room on the indoor bench seat.

The owners were warm, welcoming, and passionate about their farm, which really made our stay feel special. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved waking up to the sounds of the countryside and enjoying a slow morning with a coffee while taking in the views. • Sherridan (6/5): Blackwattle Farm - Loved meeting Emma and feeding the animals, seeing all the animals and engaging with the farm. The kids had a blast and kept asking to see more of the animals. Communication was excellent. The farm is very well maintained, has a beautiful outlook and surrounds. The animals are lovely and the dogs are super friendly. Would return just to visit the farm again. Kids room was fantastic with toys and fluffy animals. Unfortunately we didn't have reception or WiFi when we first arrived and this was a big issue for my husband who needs to be contactable for work. I would have expected wifi to be included if the area is known for its reception issues. Expected a bit more from the breakfast - I. E. One litre of milk between four people for three days didn't go far and one tub of yoghurt. Also did expect to have access to shampoo and conditioner and a bar of soap at least for the price we were paying, not just body wash. Also had to ration the toilet paper. I think just more supplies food and toiletries wise in the cabin would be great for future to make the stay more comfortable. Bath can do with an upgrade - difficult for kids and those with mobility issues to enter due to high sides, rocked and moved under weight. Perhaps just a shower put in would be ideal for all guests and fit more into the aesthetic of the bathroom.

Very relaxing, with a spot for a fire, and lots of farm grown treats! My GPS takes me past the farm entrance. A little light at the driveway would be awesome!

Nestled amongst a view of the glass house mountains and surrounding forest, we had the perfect unplug, we were looking for! The added bonus was cuddles with the baby goats and ducks. Absolute highlight for my kids. Sitting under the stars with our firepit and feeling cosy and snug at night in our tiny home.. best experience! The bath on the deck was also a highlight! We loved the daily farm animal feedings, and adored the family doggies that visited us daily - they were adorable. The ample pantry staples were very welcomed and breakfast ingredients stocked in our house. The fresh eggs we could collect were delish!! Bring cash for firewood and any extra locally grown veggies. Emma, our host, was very helpful during our stay. Check out is at 10am.. be on time because the house keeper will turn up at 10 past 10 looking very grumpy!!! We felt very rushed while packing our car after enjoying a lovely slow weekend.

The space was compact but had everything you could - The morning that we were due to check in I received a text with all of the information I would need for arrival. Emma (and the dogs) was around to greet us. The opportunity to join the animal feeding in the morning was wonderful. Nothing, we had a relaxing couple of days at Blackwattle Farm.

It was cosy and had everything we needed and more; like a traditional espresso coffee machine, stereo, books.... Emma thought of them all! We loved hanging out on the deck. My 7 year old especially loved the firepit and the little one loved the sandpit in the vegie garden. We fed the animals one morning too which was a fun experience. The farm is also conveniently located near shops, the main town and places like the Melany Botanical Gardens and Bird World, Australia Zoo and walking tracks. We definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again :) We liked everything.

The beds were so comfortable, i slept so well! We loved the outdoor toilet, with moon & stars cut out in door & the Llama pic, nice tpuches. Loved the morning visits by the super friendly dogs, very well trained, and the managery of ani.als on the farm, the veggie patch where we could pick fresh produce for meals. Can't beat fresh lettuce, tomatoes, chillies, herbs, etc. For a refreshing zig,.try the fresh comquats and finger limes. . Its close to Aus Zoo, and 35-40min to beaches and to the hinterland. 10am check out on the Sun. Would be nice to be able to stay till 11am or later on our final day.

• Wei (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed in the Tall Gum Tiny House with two adults and two children. It was our dream lifestyle come through! The whole tiny house was carefully planned and very thoughtful. It didn't feel cramped at all even with 4 of us thanks to the big front verandah/deck. Plenty of space to relax and chill. Beautiful maintained lush green lawn and plants surrounding the tiny house, fire pit for you to enjoy in the cooler nights. All the kitchen utensils, knifes, pots, pans plus all the things you need to do a cook up, including a beautiful gas Weber BBQ with hot plate and grill, plus a side burner. Inside the tiny house are neatly set up with two comfy double beds. You will be kept warm/cool with air-con and a fan. Multiple windows that can be opened and has insect screen to keep the bugs out. Plenty of storage space in and out of the tiny house. Ecoflow composting toilet was position outside, with no smell and kept very tidy and clean. The highlight was the bath tub outside, on the deck, looking at the gum trees in front. Best time to do that was around late afternoon where the sun has heat up the space nicely and you just slide back and relax, enjoying the space which was carefully planned by the host, Emma. Breakfast is included and you will be spoilt for choices. Free range organic eggs laid by the chickens on farm. Organic milk. Cereals, muesli and cornflakes. Sourdough bread with honey collected at the farm or marmalade (citrus jam) made by host. Peanut butter for anyone who wants high energy. Vegemite for the Aussies. Butter and yogurt if you are not dairy sensitive. Of course for coffee lovers like me, you can either choose instant Moconna coffee or brew your own espresso grind with Moka pot or plunger. English teas are also available. Make sure you join Emma and the kids for farm tour. Totally complimentary and you will learn so much about the farm lifestyle. Nothing. It was more than I ever asked for!

All in all, it was a great place to stay for couple of nights, with lovely hosts and an epic firepit. Washing machine was a bit gross so didn't use, but other options available. Shower plumbing in need of remediation.

• Kelly (10/5): Perfect family getaway! - The location was perfect, just 10 minutes to Australia Zoo. Our tiny house was secluded and it was lovely to be able to wake up, walk up to the main house and feed all the animals in the morning. This was one of our favourite holidays. We will be back! Our phone service dropped in and out but this wasn't a huge issue. We actually liked being unplugged for a few days.
• Karen (10/5): Would definitely stay here again if in the location - first choice to book if available. - Was close to shops and Australia Zoo. Was great to have freedom to walk around and enjoy nature and the farm animals. Excellent for kids who love animals - and big kids too. I can't say anything bad about our experience. I did miss my Nespresso coffee machine as I don't like instant coffee but wouldn't expect this, so will bring it with me next time.
• Julie (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the facility & the farm animals were so much fun to feed. The garden was lovely & the kids loved collecting the eggs. The breakfast was amazing & plenty of it. We loved the accommodation,vital was very warm & comfortable. We weren't keen on the toilet set up, but it was ok & we managed, just different to what we are used to. Ideally we would have like more beds on lower levels instead of having to climb stairs. But the cabins we were beautiful 🌼

• Savannah (10/5): Wholesome, inspiring and restorative getaway - Feeding the animals, having a fire under the stars, great company of the dogs (especially Lilly), and the host was excellent. Plenty of bedding, towels were comfy, and the deck is nice and big for a family meal. Brekky was more basics: loaf of bread, milk, yogurt, condiments, and fresh fruit. The homemade rosella jam was delicious - a nice touch. Pillows on the bed could have been more comfy / plush
• Jodie (10/5): Great farm stay - Beautiful location, wonderful hosts and very comfortable and cosy accommodation. We loved feeding the animals in the morning and eating fresh salads picked from the garden and scrambled eggs for breaky straight from the chickens. Nothing, it was perfect.
