This cruise ship's itinerary includes the following: 1st Day: Arrive at Tuan Chau Wharf by 12:15 PM for embarkation. During lunch, cruise to the Tung Sau area for kayaking, trekking, and swimming at Titop Island. Reboard for relaxing on the sun deck, or take a cooking class. Dinner, activities, and overnight aboard the ship. 2nd Day: After a Tai Chi session and breakfast, head to Surprise Cave. Brunch is served as the boat returns to Tuan Chau Wharf by 11:30 AM. Shuttle van services transport guests to Hanoi by 4 PM.

• Nicholas (10/5): Brilliant stay, good, staff and itinerary - This is a fantastic experience. The ship is clean and well equipped with beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms and super comfortable beds. The staff were really friendly and accommodating (shout out to Dong and the two ladies we didn’t catch the name of). Nothing was too much, the food was brilliant, really varied and accommodated for everyone’s food requirements without compromising on diversity or quality. There are many cruises out there but can’t recmommend this one enough. Really good itinerary on the 2 night stay, relaxed with short trips.

• Traveller123 (2/5): - Partendo dal presupposto che la baia é un luogo fantastico e unico nel suo genere, credo che quando si prenoti una di queste fantomatiche crociere bisogna stare parecchio attenti alle attivitá proposte. La crociera in questione ci ha solamente portato in una “spiaggia” estremamente affollata di gente, ci ha lasciato li un’ora con l’obbligo ovviamente di dover risalire a bordo dopo l’ora. Dopo cena ci aspettavamo un po’ di musica al bar e invece nulla, tutto spento... esperienza abbastanza deludente.

• Gail (4/5): Overpriced for what you get - Only two very small bottles of water provided per day. Then you have to pay and the price is so expensive. The one Lamp not working in our room , no one cared. We had to take it to reception. No itenery in our room and wouldn't get us one . Friends got a complimentary bottle of wine and we didn't . No explanation . Maybe none of the boats on Halong Bay are good value but this one certainly isn't . Bar staff were lovely and so were the guides. Places they take you are excellent.
• Sara (10/5): Super trip, food galore! - Had an amazing stay in a room with a balcony. Food was excellent and so much of it! Staff very good and informative. Trips off the boat were good, into caves, beach, kayaking etc. We stayed two nights and glad we did as it seemed much less rushed than the people that did one. The views were amazing even though it was a bit misty while we were there.There is no wifi as you are in the bay, we had a flight change that we did not know about as we could not get any emails so caused us a bit of a problem when we got off!
• Katharina (10/5): Tolle Bootstour - Der Pickup vom Hotel war super. Die Fahrt etwas anstrengendbuns dauerte etwa 4 h. Vor allem der halbstündige Aufenthalt in einem Outlet für Nippes hätte nicht sein müssen. Der Empfang am Schiff war gut. Es gab erstmal einen Welcome Drink und nach 45 min konnten wir dann an Bord. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Die Kabinen etwas klein. Die Bucht an sich ist traumhaft. Die angeboten Touren waren insgesamt etwas überlaufen. Wir konnten leider kein Kayak fahren, sondern wurden allesamt in ein Boot verfrachtet. Die Fahrt war etwas eintönig, da man durch einen kleinen Eingang fährt, um dann in so einer Art kleinen Binnensee zu landen, einmal im Kreis zu fahren und dann wieder zurück. Das ganze hat etwa 20 min gedauert. Anschließend ging es zur Insel mit Aussichtsplattform. Der Ausblick hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Das Abendprogramm fand ich super. Der Koch war klasse und wir haben Frühlingsrollen gemacht. Das beste aber war am nächsten Tag die Höhle, was ich gar nicht erwartet hatte. Insgesamt fand ich es etwas überlaufen, weil alle Boote die gleichen Punkte anlaufen, aber die Glory Legend war klasse, das Personal sehr freundlich und das Essen fantastisch. Ich würde dieses Boot jeden empfehlen.

• Mizue (10/5): お勧めできるハロン湾クルーズ - 数あるハロン湾クルーズの中でアクティビティーの数は平均的なものでしたが、ガイドの案内もしっかりしており、とても楽しめた。食事も趣向を凝らしており美味しかった。各部屋に赤ワイン1本とフルーツがサービスで置いてあり、部屋でもゆっくりすることができた。残念だったのは部屋に備え付けのヘアドライヤーとランプが使えなかった事。施設が古かったのでしょうがないのかな。ゲストは欧米人が多く年齢層も様々だったが、皆さんフレンドリーで大騒ぎする人も自分勝手にしている人もなく、快適だった。総合的にこのクルーズを申し込んんでとても良かった。
• Bruna (10/5): - A estadia foi incrível! Pegamos 2 dias e uma noite! O staff todo é bastante atencioso! Para quem gosta de uma culinária mais sofisticada, não vá esperando muito! É muito bom, mas nada que você não encontre em terra firme! Apenas deixo como dica... quando você reserva nem sempre vai para o barco do "Halong Glory Legend"! No nosso caso, fomos colocados em outro barco do mesmo grupo, o "Pelican". Não sei se há muita diferença, mas a funcionária disse que o que estávamos era mais moderno! O único ponto negativo é que a água que está descrito como de graca, só é uma garrafinha de 300 mls! E não tem wi fi! É um modem 3G que pega bem mal só quando o barco está próximo a algum ponto fixo!

• Fidel (8/5): 員工親切，含陽台的房型很棒 - 很多行程，有划獨木舟、登Titop島、做春捲、驚訝洞基本上不會讓你在船上覺得無聊，食物也充足，可以吃的很飽，兩層船體活動空間比較沒那麼大，但解說時周圍團員會比較少，解說員也十分認真，比較可惜是幾個明信片上有名的石頭島並不會特別說明。

• YONI (2/5): 사진이랑 다른 배와 객실 - 선착장에 들어설 때부터 느낌이 딱 왔어요. 큰 배 사이에 껴있는 QN6600이란느 작은 배에 탑승했는데.. 사진이랑 달리 완전 작고, 통창도 아니고 호텔 사진에 있는 디럭스룸 보다 꾸진 룸을 스위트룸이라고 주더군요. 어이도 없고 너무 실망스러워서 매니저?로 보이는 사람한테 물어봤더니 글로리 레전드 크루즈란 이름의 배가 여러 개 된다더라구요. 그중에 작은 배 타는 거랑 큰 배 타는 건 복불복이라 생각하고 넘어가야 하나요? 너무 어이가 없었지만 이미 육지를 떠났기에 다시 돌아갈 수도 없고 여러모로 복잡해서 컴플레인만 걸고 넘어갔네요. 와인을 무료로 주겠다며 이해하라는 식으로 얘길하는데 진짜 속았다는 느낌이었습니다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 익스피디아에서 잘못한 건지.. 현지 업체에서 배정을 그지같이 해준 건지... 진짜 예약할 때 사진에 속지 말고 여러 대의 배 중 어느 배인지 정확히 잘 알아보고 가세요. 저희가 묵었던 방은 진짜 코딱지만 하고, 화장실도 엄청 좁고.. 절대 저 사진에 보이는 저곳이 아니었어요.
• Steven (8/5): Halong 3/2 - I did a three day two night cruise. The boat was nice, I chose the upgraded room. The room size is about the same, but the nicer rooms have a "private balcony". A lot of the activities are a bit lame, but that's not the boat's fault, they all do the same stuff. They also all do it at the exact same time so at "cave time" every boat in the area disgorges its passengers into a massive crowd. If they would stagger their times a bit, it would be a better experience.

As we are Asian who love to drink hot drinks, we always request hot water. All the staffs are nice and help us anytime. The cruise is not look like the picture which posted in expedia. Older as the post. For the short trip to floating valley and cave are good. The guide say good English. He let us know the background of the valley and the cave.

• cyn (8/5): very professional cruise, breathtaking scenery... - ...would rather skip the second overcrowded cave, and instead go to another beach...however, everything else was lovely. the breakfast buffets were especially good and all the staff were very nice.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Bad customer service, bad room, bad food - No good air con, food sucked, hotel staff not helpful or accommodating. They turn the ship around everyday and they were in their routine without allowing the new passengers to feel welcomed or special. Been on other cruises and I would highly recommend one of them over this.
• damon (2/5): Pick other luxury cruises! It's worth it - First let me point out I've stayed with another luxury cruise on 2013. I decided on glory for another great experience. However what I got was sub standard service and food. Let's start with the room. The air con only cooled the very sml area with bathroom sink. So a very hot room the entire trip. They turned off air con during meals to use air cons there. 2. Cold showers, no hot water! 3. Food was preselected verses other luxury same price cruises that offer a buffet. We didn't get a say with our food. And most of the selections were not food we wanted to eat so went to bed hungry. 3. Bad attitude with service. One example check out at 9:30 am but food service wouldn't be until 10:30 am and we docked at 11:30 am. So for an hour before food service they wanted us out the room either siting outside heat or dining room with no air. It was so sadd to see kids with their heads laying of tables because they forced us out the rooms early. Btw nothing was being done to the rooms during that time so we culf have stayed in there.
• Michael (8/5): Great value, solid cruise option - We booked the 3 day, 2 night option for $200 each on hotels.com and were happy with our decision. Room was clean, in good shape, with powerful AC, comfortable bed and with closet-style shower and toilet. Fairly small, as expected, thin walls, and some creaking floors. No in-room safe or mini fridge. Meals provided a crazy amount of food and courses...quality was fine with some dishes better than others. Company should reduce portions and focus on providing just a few excellent courses. Breakfast was nice with coffee, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, toast, and pho. 2 small waters per room per day and coffee were provided and everything else was extra and overpriced by SE Asia standards (USD $3 beer, $2 small water, $6 cocktails/mixed drinks) The scenery was wonderful and the common areas were very nice to sit and soak it in. Staff were friendly, helpful, and service was great throughout the trip. The excursions from the boat were all excellent. The kayaking spots were great and we had 2-3 hours between the three days (with option to ride in a bamboo boat at the first stop if you prefer). The cave stops were very cool: the first (on our middle day) was smaller and more intimate and involved some scrambling. The cave on the last day (Surprise cave) was large, well established with walkways and stairs, with impressive formations and beautiful views.

• AL (8/5): Enjoyable cruise, but English can be improved - My wife did a 2 day 1 night cruise of Halong Bay with Glory Cruises. The boat was nice, and the room was clean and comfortable, albeit a little dated. The food provided was fantastic! Every meal--lunch, dinner and brunch--was delicious and tasted like home-cooked food. The activities were interesting--kayaking in the bay, climbing to the top of one island for a panoramic view, and exploring a cave. But they were packed with tourists, so if you are looking to get away from the crowd, do take note of the itinerary. We felt that the itinerary was a little to packed with activities. They were fun, but we would have preferred more time on the boat just to take in the magnificent view and relax in the gentle breeze. Our main gripe was that our guide's English was difficult to understand, so we had to guess what he was trying to communicate. He put in a huge effort to take good care of us though, so we commend him for that.
• Mikaela (10/5): Unique cruise, better than all the others - We absolutely loved Glory Cruises! Our room was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and always helpful, and the whole boat was beautiful inside. The meals were amazing - 10 courses! Breakfast is very basic. The drink prices were standard with what we paid in other places in Vietnam. And the best part was the tour itself. We did the 2 night tour and were SO glad we did - I think people who only did 1 night really miss out. You arrive at lunch time on the first day and leave before lunch the next day so you don't really get a lot of time, hence why it's worth staying longer. Our boat went to unique places away from all the other cruise ships, and so we got to really enjoy the serenity of the bay and see it without all the ships in the way. We did kayaking and got to see some endangered monkeys, and lots more! The tour guides were awesome - SO enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. They were also very flexible which was good. NOTE: They have 2 boats (one is old and one is new) - request to be in the new one!
