• Vo (1/5): A great location let down by poor room maintenance and an unacceptable smell. - The location of the hotel was very convenient and suited my travel plans perfectly. It was easy to get around the city from here. Unfortunately, the room condition was disappointing. It had a strong, unpleasant musty smell. Despite reporting the issue and requesting a room change, the problem was not resolved.

Not sure because they are overload but still wanted guests so we were placed on 20th floor. We worked in the room with the plate of fruit on the table and couldnt stand the smell of the room.

• Denis (6/5): - Zimmer sind ok, Bad war renovierungsbedürftig, Rollo am Fenster zwischen Zimmer und Klo konnt nicht komplett geschlossen werden - es gab also immer einen Blick Richtung Klo. Pool war geschlossen, eine Restaurant-Etage war komplett in Renovierung. Frühstück war gut. Die Damen beim Spa konnten nicht Englisch sprechen, somit war die Kommunikation schwierig. Qualität der Massage war bei meiner Partnerin und mir sehr unterschiedlich. Die Räumlichkeiten waren renovierungsbedürftig und hatten weniger Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Wenig Aktivitäten in der Nähe, kaum Restaurants, außer Streetfood

• KANWLJEET (8/5): - If you're going to visit Hanoi, you should be in the Old quarter.. this hotel is a cheaper option but an hour away from everything. A Grab taxi is around 100K Dong (200K Dong in peak traffic) to get to the city where all the action is.. We used to take a taxi to wherever we wanted to go in the morning and then only come back at night Good hotel but the traveling can be inconvenient

• Wendy (5/5): I loved the trip but not really used to a 4 star hotel that is shabby - Breakfast ok for easterners. Pool looked ok but open at strange time. It wasn’t that clean, tired and aged. Cigarette ash in non smoking areas that gave an overall stale smell. Its position was not so good for a tourist unless on a tour. The sauna, spa and massage I could only say I was disgusted.
• Wendy (6/5): Pleasant - It looked glamorous but felt a bit tired and not so clean around the edges, possibly more of an Asian travel or businessman hotel. I had a massage at another beautiful 4 star hotel in the province and thought I was having the same. It was shocking, laid upon a smelly towel no where was there a face hole, a spa bath and sauna in the corner. I think it could have been a men only as it was the impression I got as the girls had weeny mini skirts and stiletto very high heels. It smelt bad. The breakfast was ok but some yoghurt and other breakfast items may have been nice. Basically I felt not as suitable for westerners.

Didn’t use the facilities (gym and pool) but looked lovely. Really nice and clean room, lovely bathroom and a tub!

• Cl (10/5): The room was really amazing and the staff was exceptional. - The staff was exceptionally well trained, and friendly. They were able to provide me help with arranging the hotel shuttle and taxi service without any problems. The swimming pool's opening hours, as the time-frames did not co-inside with the times which i was able to enjoy this facility, as well as the spa area were also closed during the day. Which were a little of a disappointment to me.

• Kim (6/5): Faded Splendour - We stayed here on two occasions during our trip to Hanoi. For both stays we were given a very spacious 3 bedroom apartment which exceeded expectations, but on closer inspection, although clean and comfortable, the decor was a bit tired and in need of updating. I can imagine the hotel as being very grand several years ago, but service was mixed. Whilst daytime reception staff were polite and helpful, the evening staff were much less so. Not very much English spoken. Breakfast was disappointing, whilst there appeared to be a wide selection of Asian choices, many were cold ( guests left the lids off the warming dishes) and not as appetising as the food we tasted elsewhere in Hanoi. Room service and the hotel restaurant, however, provided good quality meals.

Even metal rack to put towel, one side gave way when I pick up towel, luckily I was not seated on toilet bowl otherwise I cannot imagine what disaster will happen to me. Breakfast also disaster food is oily and tasteless.
• Ian (8/5): Very good but not for cuisine - The hotel is a large hotel which has all the features of a four star hotel. At the time of the visit one of the restaurants was closed for renovation, the second closed and the third closed earlier than advertised meaning I had to order room service. Breakfast was also underwhelming, adequate rather than interesting, not what you would expect from a four star hotel. This detracted from an otherwise good visit. The room was very pleasant, spacious, clean, well appointed and comfortable, the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would book again but I would check the restaurant availability.

• Gaurav (8/5): Awesome Hotel - I booked a suite and surprisingly charges were not that high. Room was BIGGGGGGGGGGG and must say the view from the room was awesome.
• kyo's (2/5): The worst 4 star hotel I've stayed in Hanoi - I don't believe this is 4 star hotel! Not only the bath room, but wall paper in the bed room was modly. Hot water was running out in 5 mins and bath room was always flooded after using a shower. The worst thing was I smelled toilet in the room for all day at any point of the room. Also, reception wasn't functioning except one lady. One of the reception guy tried to charge me accommodation again although I payed via internet in advance. He didn't understand English well, I was really tired to explain to him. Because there were many tour groups stayed in this hotel and only one lady who speaks good English understands the entire reception process, they did not have enough capability to handle such a lot of tour groups and time consuming for other guests. It took more than 30 mins to check out, which I originally expected to do in 5 mins. I found their poor capability for groups in breakfast restaurant as well. Anyway, it was nightmare hotel for me. Unconfirtable room with toilet smell, attempted double room charge, bad reception manner... what is the reason to stay here again?
