- Brian (8/5): - The check in was ackward. When we first arrived, the door was locked and the Ring did not answered. We got in after someone showed up. The TV worked but none of the Roku channels were active accept for a free movie channel. Breakfast was donuts, cereal, waffles, fruit and drinks. Not bad nothing special. The room was quite comfortable, clean bath, no hair dryer available. Eric was quite friendly and helpful. There were very nice places to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine.
- Jennifer (8/5): - The atmosphere was good and fairly clean. The towel holder and toilet paper holder screws were coming out of drywall. They only give you a towel, washcloth and hand towel for each person and no one there to ask for more. It wouldn’t have been a big deal but shower door leaks water on floor and no extra towels to clean it up. The biggest downside was the water did not get hot. Only lukewarm which made you cold with the air on. I never saw the breakfast that was supposed to be offered. But it was right at 8am so maybe it wasn’t ready. Overall it was quiet and a good place to stay.
- David (8/5): - Room and common areas could be cleaner. For example, there were 3 dryer sheets in the bedding, there was a bit of trash in the room, and the bathroom sink needed to be wiped off. Property otherwise was good.
- David (8/5): - This place was a nice large home with a bunch of different sized rooms. It was clean and well taken care of, but a bit dated. It could use some upgrades in a few places. The shared bathroom had the basics but nothing special. I didn;t see any staff but knew that coming in. I took care of myself and had a nice night's stay. There was a small breakfast nook there in the morning with bagels, oatmeal, waffles, juice, milk, and a few other items. The price was great for a very nice room that I only needed for a good sleep. I would definitely go here again.

There was no Continental breakfast at the time that was described. There were no shower amenities such shampoo or soap. I don't know if it was on purpose or not considering how little information we were given about the property, but we could not lock our room door. Nothing happened though.

But your bed may fallout from under you! - Location We were down to go to sleep and the bed broke from under us so we slept on a slanted bed the entire night and they charged us for damages even though we were just laying down (using the bed as intended) when it happened.

- Karen (4/5): Ok for a night. - The location to speedway is great, room and linens were clean. The confirm indicated 2 bed 1 bath, BUT right b4 I arrived I was sent a note that it would be a shared bath. Not ideal for me, no cups were in room so you had to improvise when brushing teeth. The soap in shared bath was a shared bar of soap, ewe, need to bring ALL bath items (soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion). No mirror in bedroom and being a shared bath room, bring your own to apply makeup. The vanity in bath is probably from 60’s. Can’t control heat/air in room and was woke up all night bc of it coming on every 15 minutes.
- Laird (7/5): Good - Good location. Nice property overall. The shower head upstairs needs to be replaced. The water flow is very low, as about half of the spouts are blocked. The pool/fountain outside needs cleaning and painting.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Decent place to stay - The Speedway legacy Inn was a nice place to stay. The pros: cleanliness, quiet, and most comfy bed I’ve ever slept in. The cons: I was expecting breakfast and all there was, was cereal and muffins for food. The reviews had said “home cooked breakfast”. I would stay again because I did receive fast response when I had concerns regarding the room (Tv remote, refrigerator). I would recommend the property owners invest in mini fridges for the rooms as well. That would have been super nice as I was trying to spend as little as possible on my business trip but ended up spending a lot of money on food.
- Donald (6/5): Needs up keeping and improving - Location was convenient for our occasion Asked for 1 hour early check in but room wasn’t ready when we arrived(we arrived 3:45) and had to wait for staff to finish in front of us and left cleaner in room. Very warm in our room so we turned the air down but someone in the night turned the heat on and we had a hard time sleeping. Grounds were in poor unkept condition with trash laying around gazebo and other area. Bed sheets torn and improper fitting, would not stay on bed(too small)

The code that was given to us was the wrong code, the shower didn't have good pressure, the shampoo is some mystery shampoo in a refillable squeeze bottle, no soap or conditioner for shower. The pictures showed breakfast but there was none set up. The knob on the cabinet under the sink was gone...we fixed it before we left because we found the knob and screw. The door to the bathroom was very difficult to close.

The bathroom is shared which for the hours i needed it was okay but not ideal. Less clean than the room. Bedrooms are also second floor. No notable elevator.

All in all, this was a good deal. But somewhere it mentioned they were aspiring to be a 5-star facility, but all in all it felt relatively cheap and old and not as clean as I would expect - I don‘t mind sharing a bathroom but the aspiration of 5 stars seems too high. There was hair on my sheets, the AC/heater next to my room was super loud, and the lids for the provided coffee cups didn‘t fit. Also the instructions on how to enter were somewhat difficult to find in the email.

After over twenty minutes a staff member arrived but didn't speak English. Finally someone came who could help but the place looked rundown and the experience was too much and I left.

Could hear people arguing almost every night outside our room, TV kept going out with multiple people watching from their rooms, shared bathroom was gross, breakfast selections was scarce, no milk, no orange juice, no coffee cups, a lady was doing her hair business in lobby, not what I expected
- Susan (8/5): We were just visiting over the weekend and we didn’t spend much time at the property. Overall I was happy with my stay o - It was convenient to the places we were visiting on our first time in Indianapolis. The price was a good value. The property was quiet and lovely. The bed was comfy and there were plenty of of pillows! Parking was convenient and convenient to the entrance. There were several welcoming outdoor areas that we might have used if the weather was warmer. The breakfast area was nicely stocked with a variety of cereals as well as teas and coffee. Some fresh fruit would have been nice but otherwise it was just fine. We had some problems with the hot water. On the first night the water was barely warm and on Saturday and Sunday there wasn’t any hot water water at all. They were kind enough to to allow us to use a nearby un occupied room to shower which was fine. The TV required a code which we didn’t get until Saturday morning which was annoying. Also the room was heated with a faux wood stove heater. It wasn’t clear how to adjust the temperature. Part of the time it was too hot and other times too cold. I would certainly recommend that you have printed instructions with the TV code as well as how to use the heater available for guests.

- Sloan (2/5): Very poor - Only thing I like was the bed was comfy. We was without a TV for a day an a half, and we was only there for 2 days. No bed n breakfast. Just cereal and snacks. Shower was so small. Like 3 rooms only has bathrooms. The 4 other rooms has to share a bathroom. I had no refrigerator. They took ours out and used it for their kitchen. Stairs are steep to go upstairs to your room. It's like you staying at someone house. I won't be back there.

- Alexandra (3/5): Stayed because I had to. - The bed was nice We booked a different room entirely and was given a room with 1 bed went asked for 2. When I checked in I was charged twice, I am being refunded for the second but it still happened. The breakfast isn’t actually breakfast so it really shouldn’t be classified as that. The shower was dirty when we got there, there was a giant crack in the window and there wasn’t any extra toilet paper or tissues at all in the room. The images on booking do not reflect the property.
- John (10/5): Shake and Bake - Great location, 40 minute walk to NASCAR or $10 Uber R Ya Payment issue was resolved very quickly Nice room, comfy bed. Breakfast items available 24/7. Just a shame coffee machine needed descaling which after 10 beers and half a bottle of whiskey was beyond my cognitive abilities. A bit strange not to see anyone when checking in other than the nice Mexican lady cleaning the room.

- Brittany (4/5): Disappointing at best! - The room was decorated cute, but it was dirty Fixtures were broken in the room, there was no toilet paper holder in the downstairs bathroom, just toilet paper sitting on a grimy sink. The bathroom upstairs was dirty as well. It looked as though it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. There was hair (long black) on the bedding and on the back of the toilet. The shower was dirty, so much so that dirt literally gathered in the corner when I turned the water on.

A housekeeper leaving called a property manager (after my call went to voicemail) and he informed me check-in wasn’t until 4. My paperwork said 3 but I had no information on how to get in. Housekeeper had left the front door open for us. The manager gave me the other information.

- Lahr (4/5): Disappointing - This is my third stay at the Speedway Legacy Inn, and until now, we've had excellent experiences. We choose the 1st floor Parisian Suite because of its large jacuzzi— that's the primary feature of the room. Unfortunately, when the tub was turned on it made noise but did not shoot water, like the jets weren't working. Then I noticed something pink floating... I figured something was likely clogging the intake. I reached my hand in, and sure enough, pulled out several large, pink, paper-plastic hearts that I can only assume were used by a previous guest for a romantic bath. Not only was this pretty gross, but the bath never ended up working, which is a real bummer because its the main draw to staying in that room. I messed the staff about this the day after and Unfortunately there was no response from them, and I definitely expected one after my previous stays there.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Misrepresented as hotel - Not so good. Met at locked door by unfriendly mgr. Questioned before allowed entry. Room reserved DID NOT HAVE BATHROOM. It is a large HOME being used as a motel, not a commercial hotel with proper facilities. Not comparable in any way, but cost was basically the same after added fees.
- Laura (8/5): - Had a few things we disappointed with. The blinds in bathroom and bedroom we felt did not give the appropriate privacy. We had a Jacuzzis in our bathroom, my daughter played vollyball tournament all day and was looking forwarded to relaxation in tub. Not enough hot water to turn on jets. Very disappointing. The fridge did not work but freezer did so we just put all our foid in freezer. Disappointing as well. Great location and safe area.
- Beresik (10/5): Nice get away - Very beautiful house. Everything was clean and easy to understand. The one staff member I met was super friendly and helpful.
- Malorie (4/5): - Upon check in we were greeted and staff was friendly overall when they were around. The floor was dirty and there was even a wrapper on the floor. Only a bottle of conditioner no shampoo and the conditioner was a refillable one. Thankfully there was 3 of us as the bathroom door slides but you can get it open with some muscles and a prayer but even then you probably need help. I am 5 foot and thin and barely fit in the shower. TV doesn’t work without a code which they don’t give you at check in. A fridge but no microwave. Handsoap was clearly watered down. Breakfast was danishes, cold cereal, and granola bars all purchased from a warehouse store. That’s fine I don’t have issue with that but no milk and no one around to ask. The beds and pillows were quite comfortable so if you only need to sleep… quiet neighborhood. We stayed in a double Queen.
- Kristy (8/5): This was mine and my boyfriends first weekend getaway and it was great! - The home was an older home. Beautiful home in a great location. The bed was super comfy and we slept great! The only complaint I had was that the door was a little less than secure. It's probably just where the house has settled over time. And maybe a ceiling fan, being on the top floor it got a little hot in the room. But it was a great stay.

- Tyler (10/5): Great place - Loved everything about this place. It almost felt like staying with friends, with the level of hospitality they showed us, but at the same time we had total privacy. The room was impeccably clean and all of the linens/towels smelled great. Very close to the IMS and Main St in Speedway as well, so there are lots of shops and a great pancake house 5 minutes away. Will definitely stay here again when we come to Indy next.

The air conditioning did not reach our room. I did not speak or see an employee one time. Another guest gave us the code to our room.

- Anonymous (6/5): The stay was convenient, clean and for the most part comfortable. - It was clean, no one bothered you. Low traffic from other guests. Quiet. Met the new owner, he and his family were very nice. Our room had a community restroom room. We got used to it and never had to wait to use it. The floors squeaked a lot. Granted the whole house had signs revealing they are under construction (but did see any happening). Walls where thin, therefore you could hear music from above, people walking on the floor above as well.
