• Climber525194 (10/5): Great stay with family - Had a great stay here. The place is oriented towards couples but we inquired and were told we could bring our teen and tween as part of a family stay. Really enjoyed the daily breakfasts, the staff was welcoming and kind throughout, and the location is great -- just far enough from the center of Paraty to be quiet but still very accesible with a short walk. Also about 1 minute walk from Pontal beach which has kayaks and SUPs for rent and just a couple minutes from where the boats are docked on the river if your stay includes a boat tour.

• elifpelinc (2/5): Uncomfortable Stay Due to Constant AC Noise - I stayed in one of the rooms at the back of the garden, next to the kitchen. I checked in late and was very tired after a long drive, but the staff welcomed me well, provided clear instructions, and allowed me to park on the street. The room is quite small, but it was acceptable for a one-night stay. However, the external AC unit mounted on the wall was very noisy whenever the neighboring room turned on their air conditioning. This significantly affected my ability to sleep. I reported the issue to Fernando, who appeared to be the person in charge, but my request for a refund was refused. I was told they had never received a complaint about the noise before. Unfortunately, this did not change the fact that the noise was constant and disruptive. As I arrived late and had no alternative, I had to stay, but I did not sleep well. On a positive note, the breakfast was good, and Daniel’s complimentary cocktail was the best part of the stay. Thank you, Daniel! Paraty offers many accommodations with good breakfast and better comfort, so I would recommend considering other options.

A beautiful breakfast met us at sunrise. - A friendly staff helped us to prepare our exploration of Paraty and the surrounding area. From this place we were able to hike through the forests to beautiful beaches. Old Paraty made for a nice evening stroll. Many tour boats await to help you explore the nearby islands.

Espaço físico do hotel pequeno, sobretudo de alguns quartos, apesar de acolhedor. Acho cobrar 7 reais pela uso da garrafa do minibar para encher com água do filtro, com pretexto de sustentabilidade, um pouco demais. O mm para valor a mais cobrado em caso de um ovo ou omelete extra no café da amanhã. As anfitriãs são o ponto máximo, mt atenciosas e solícitas.

• lucasvishnukian (10/5): Excellent place to stay in Paraty - Amazing location - the Pousada is only a five minute walk to the center of Paraty and is a block from a great beach where you can swim. The Pousada was also beautifully maintained with nice tile decorations - our room included a private patio with a hammock. The breakfast was also fantastic and included with our room. Finally, the staff were super friendly and even gave us some recommendations for things to do in Paraty. Cannot recommend this place enough.

But the host helped with the restaurants, finding a massage and arranging a boat trip made for more than a pleasant stay. I can’t complain about the property. There are some places next with barking dogs at night but nothing that can be done about that.

The location is perfect, a short walk to the historic district, yet tucked away on a quiet street. The accommodations are comfortable, clean and absolutely charming. • Cornelia (10/5): Klein, aber fein - Pousada mit Flair - Sehr schöne kleine Pousada mit Flair und sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern. Leckeres und sehr reichliches Frühstück. Bequemes Bett, jedoch ist das Zimmer klein und verfügt über keinen Schrank oder eine grössere Ablagefläche. Mit einem kleinen Koffer ist es kein Problem, hat man jedoch viel Gepäck, so wird es eng.

Lovely atmosphere with the superb host Marco who payed the utmost attention to every detail. Breakfast was fantastic !! The inn is in walking distance from everything, felt very safe with the locked gate. Recommend this place very very much!

All the rooms are very well looked after and characteristic of the place, both the rooms and the common areas. It's a real treat, everything is relaxed and very pleasant. The room was beautiful, clean, fragrant and above all with everything you need. The comfortable bed and the efficient bathroom. Overall, a really welcoming place. The breakfast was good, always fresh, rich with even continental components if you ask for them. The WiFi quality is excellent and stable. I would also like to point out that the management and support provided by Marcus and Bia is TOP. They are always available and very prepared to solve any problem and help you with any need. I am happy to have been a guest of the Pousada for a week and I highly recommend it.

The staff was caring, friendly and attentive. Marcos gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Go for a meal at Restaurante Caminho Do Ouro. One of the best meals we had in Brazil! The room is small so they could use more hooks for hanging clothing
• Rodrigo Dias Mandica (10/5): Estadia mais do que perfeita! - Começou com o check in online que deixou tudo certo para a nossa chegada, então chegamos em paraty, deixamos as coisas na pousada e em 5 minutos já estávamos indo para o centro histórico. A localização é ótima, fica a 5 minutos do centro histórico e a 3 minutos da praia do pontal. Deixamos o carro na pousada e fizemos tudo a pé. Como a pousada fica do lado do hospital da cidade, todo horário é muito tranquilo de se andar, então saíamos as 9h da manhã e voltávamos as 10/11h da noite sem problemas. A pousada é beeeem aconchegante, linda, com tudo arrumado e com um café da manhã mais do que excelente. Nós pegamos o quarto mais simples, que já era perfeito para nós e ainda tinha um charme com uma varandinha e ao acordar, o café da manhã já estava nos esperando na mesa na frente do quarto. Por último e mais importante, todo o pessoal da pousada é da maior simpatia possível. Parecia que estávamos na casa de amigos na maior mordomia do mundo. Podíamos chegar a qualquer horário praticamente que estaria ou Marcus ou Bia para bater um papo e pedir qualquer coisa a eles. Com certeza voltarei a Paraty e com certeza para ficar no Ponta Gardens. Breakfast was excellent and accompanied by visits from marmosets some days. Marcus and the staff are charming and extremely helpful. I highly recommend Pontal Gardens. Nothing. It was perfect.

• Karolina (10/5): Exceptional - We were supposed to spend one night at Pousada Pontal Gardens and go to Angra but we loved the place so much that we decided to stay one more night. We got a bigger room than we booked and a very warm welcome. Jean also recommended to us the best restaurants in Paraty and helped with planning a boat trip. When we needed some advice or help, he was always there. The location was perfect, close to the center and marina but at the same time not noisy and full of tourists. The rooms, gardens and all the interior is designed with an incredible taste and has a lot of charm. Everything was planned here with a huge attention to detail and very well thought through. Definitely 10/10 in all aspects!

• André Luiz (6/5): Decepcionante. - Para uma pousada boutique, se mostrou mediana! Quando procuramos essa pousada, vimos que tinha nota alta e boas recomendações, além de ser considerada uma pousada padrão “boutique”. Logo na chegada percebemos que o estacionamento mencionado era na verdade na rua, sem nenhuma segurança. Depois do check in, conseguimos ir para o quarto. Muito pequeno, quase claustrofóbico. Privacidade e silêncio aqui são complicados já que as portas dos quartos não vedam nem a luz e nem o barulho. Para ajudar o café da manhã é servido na porta do quarto. Começam a colocar o serviço muito cedo, são barulhos de xícara, colheres. Conseguir dormir só com tampão nos ouvidos. E para finalizar tem uma campainha para abrir o portão que faz barulho na parede do quarto. No outro dia fomos acordados com o barulho do espremedor de laranja. Realmente de “boutique” só o nome, o resto é pretensão e diárias caras que não valem a estadia. Fujam realmente da roubada.

• SIMONE (8/5): pet friendly - Fomos no início de Dez/20. Os protocolos com COVID poderiam ser melhores. Houve reunião de hóspedes na sala de estar à noite, não achei muito prudente. A pousada é pequena, bem decorada. O quarto é bem pequeno. A limpeza é muito boa. O melhor de tudo é que recebem muito bem nossos filhos de 4 patas....

• Abhishek (10/5): Amazing and relaxing stay - Fernando was one of the best hosts that one can get! It felt as if we were staying with family. The breakfast was great and fernando recommended some great places to eat in the town. We travelled around South America for 3 months and this was by far one of our favourite places that we stayed at. I never felt so relaxed and welcomed in a place before.

O quarto é de bom tamanho , cama enorme e ótimo colchão e travesseiros . O banheiro é muito bom também . Não tem secador de cabelos. O wi fi do quarto 4 não funciona . A rua onde fica localizada a pousada tem um aspecto ruim , feio , mas não interferiu em nada a estadia . Apenas deu uma primeira impressão ruim . A única coisa pior foi a internet q eu uso muito e não tive .

• Pedro (10/5): The perfect place to stay in Paraty - Our weekend at the Pontal Gardens couldn't have been better. The hosts Nando e Rony are as friendly and kind as it's possible. They gave some excellent tips about what to do at the city since we had never been there before. If you're travelling with your pet, this is THE place to stay at. It's near from the historical city and a block away from the beach. We look forward to get back to Paraty soon and we already know where to stay: Pontal Gardens. Highly recommended!

• Michael (10/5): Great Pousada 5 minutes from historic centre - Ronnie and Nando were great hosts, giving us all the information to get the most out of our stay, There was plenty of choice for breakfast and fresh juices. All rooms have a small private garden and ours had a hammock. A 5-10 minute walk to the historic centre where there is plenty of restaurants and bars, some with live music. Pontal Garden is a great pousada choice for your Paraty stay.

Tudo era do jeito que gostamos: quarto limpissimo, charmoso e um banheiro muito bom, de bom gosto, com ladrinhos hidraulicos e pedras. O quarto que ficamos, de numero 6, era pet friendly e possuia um jardim exclusivo muito bonito e bem cuidado. É também próxima para ir à pé para o centro histórico. Os donos são anfitriões de primeira e tornam a estadia ainda melhor!

Os quartos com suas varandinhas com jardim tropical aliados à vibe tranquila de Paraty deixam a sensação de estar de folga da correria da cidade ainda maior! Hotel pet-friendly, com um delicioso café da manhã incluso, ainda indicam excelentes passeios, restaurantes e se mostram bastante solícitos a qualquer informação que se faça necessária. Localizado em uma rua bem calma a uns 5 minutos do centro histórico e ao lado da Praia do Pontal. Com certeza voltaremos!!!
