Important Information

Self Check-In, Starts at 2pm If the front office is closed when you arrive, we will leave a check-in packet for you on the bulletin board at the entrance of the lobby. Everything you need to locate and access your room will be in the envelope with your first initial / last name on it. Please be sure to check for road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) typically closes from late October until late May. When the Tioga Road is closed, it is not possible to drive to Tuolumne Meadows or enter Yosemite National Park from the east. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Hetch Hetchy, Highway 140, and Highway 41, remain open all year. Please note: This year, the Tioga Pass will be closed until late June. Please note: pets are not allowed and cooking devices of any kind are strictly prohibited in the rooms.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Jessica (7/5): great location, quaint clean cottage with good amenities. - It was a very cute little cottage tucked into the property, basic and rustic, as advertised. We were quite happy with it. Would have loved a stovetop though. I didn’t like being right beside the Jacuzzi, especially since it was the bedroom that got the noise. Luckily all the folks that used it respected open hours and it was quiet after hours. No chairs for our little private patio. We couldn’t figure out how to make the little electric wall “fireplace” to work or put the fake fire on the display and the other heater in the living room seemed to have it’s own operating hours, adjusting the thermostat did nothing, but it would spontaneously turn on. The carpet could be replaced…

Andy (8/5): Great price for what you need and a great location for skiing. - It's got a good location and the fireplace was very nice and toasty in an April snowstorm. Parking was convenient and the lot was plowed pretty early. It's pretty close to the bus stops, which take you to and from Main Lodge. Very close to Canyon Village. Bedding was clean, but just very old. Keys are regular ass keys, which means you better not drop them in the snow or anywhere else. The key for my room was always finicky--I had to jingle it a few times to get it to work.

Steven (8/5): Considering many of the other options in the area are very expensive, I guess you get what you pay for. I don’t need per - I’ve stayed in the main building before but this time I stayed in one of the smaller removed rooms. Definitely more peaceful. Nothing major but the bathroom vent system did not work, the bedroom fan right above the bed was high setting wind tunnel or nothing, the kitchen sink would periodically back up from who knows what the previous person put down the drain (no garbage disposal), and none of the windows that went up and down would stay open. I had to place items on the window sill to keep them from falling closed.

Masa (8/5): Very cozy stay for I and my son. - Friendly staff with kind service. Great value for all travelers. Walk to the Gondola for ski areas. None, it was perfect for us.

The jacuzzi really needs an up grade. The tub was well heated and the jets work fine. The fiberglass tub is just a little ruff.

Tara (8/5): A good value. - I like staying here because it is walking distance to the village, comfortable and we opted for the two bedroom cottage for our group of 5 which was reasonable priced for the space. I could not figure out the new TV in one of the rooms and I believe it is an internet tv and the wifi is not that good. The show I was watching kept timing out. The jacuzzi functions very well but the tub could use a face lift.

Staryl (7/5): Would stay here again. Liked how close it was to everything. - Nice size room. Refrigerator, coffee and hot water maker, dish soap and utensils, tea and coffee. Heater worked great. Extra blanket and pillow. Hot tub close to room. Room had free parking available. Liked the smell of the shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. Had hair dryer. Hot tub water was whitish and smelled very strongly of chlorine. Shower was very small.

Clifton (9/5): Always great, and very accessible. - Holiday Haus is centrally located and always a great value for skiing in mammoth. I have stayed here dozens of times with my sons, and it is always a very solid hotel. It isn't fancy, but it does the job. You can walk to the village gondola, or make a quick drive up to Canyon Lodge. being walking distance to the Gondola makes snowy days easier. Also lots of food within walking distance or short drive. nothing. Its always a pleasure to stay here.

Anthony (6/5): Great location and good value, but terrible internet connection and cleaner only came once in 6 days - Location was great, and the price was very reasonable compared to other properties. The property also provides free packets of hot chocolate, which our kids really enjoyed. The internet connection was TERRIBLE. The connection was extremely unstable and the speed when connected was incredibly slow... if you need to do any work that requires the internet during your stay, this property is not for you. The TV was dependent on the internet connection, so was mostly unusable. We also faced some really heavy snow during our stay so the cleaners never came after the first day. While I understand the cleaners not coming during heavy snow storms, there was no communication about them not coming or what we should do if we needed anything (i.e. where to take out garbage if it was full). Also, the cleaning crew still didn't come the couple days after the heavy snow storm.
