Guest Reviews
- Julie (8/5): Charming and comfortable - Staff was excellent and the breakfast was a step above!! At 2:00AM the vineyard next door did their tractor work.
- Janice (10/5): Relaxing, comfortable place to stay - definitely returning. - The facility is a beautiful place done like a French country inn. The room had antiques that just fit beautifully. Brick work was everywhere. Flowers decorated the walkways and we throughly enjoyed sitting on our room’s patio with its view of the vineyard. The breakfasts were well done in their beautiful dining area. N/a
- Jeri (10/5): Our stay was wonderful. The breakfast was great. - The property was very comfortable. Liked that is was a much smaller venue. Not a thing..
- dennis (10/5): - Bkfst room view
- Matt (7/5): - The room was spacious and cozy. The garden and vineyard view were lovely. The street noise on patio. It would not keep us from coming back. We really enjoyed our stay.
- Sushuma (8/5): -
- Dawn (10/5): Very pleasant - Very quaint little place very comfortable room would love to be there in the winter to use the fireplace
- Jenna Marden (10/5): - Lots of space, really well taken care of and super comfy bed. Great value in this location given how expensive other hotels are.

- Gail (8/5): Comfortable inn with great vineyard views in St. Helena. - Our room was spacious and included a sitting room with fireplace and a fridge, as well as a private patio. The beds were very comfortable. A continental breakfast is also included with baked goods, granola, yogurt and hard boiled eggs. There is a small pool but we didn’t use it since the weather was too cold. There were ants in the bathroom and they sprayed daily. We didn’t care for the smell.
Nada
- Adrienne (9/5): Outside of the bugs we really enjoyed the room, the made service was fast and exceptand the view from breakfast was grea - I loved the home feeling it gave! Living room vs bedroom and it was our first bed and breakfast There were many ants throughout our living room and bathroom and we saw a roach twice in the bathroom. Once coming out the sink and the other coming from underneath the toilet which made me nervous about leaving anything on the floor. I didn’t want to bring anything back home
- Leah (10/5): - The room was spacious like a one bedroom apartment. Plumbing is OLD but understandable
We
- Jo (9/5): Wonderful cozy place - Room was very cute. Spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. It was a great value and will definitely return A few little housekeeping items. The tub was slow to drain and the bathroom exuast fan very noisy. Did tell front desk at checkout. They were very receptive.
- Rosa (10/5): -
- Andrea (10/5): I truly enjoyed my stay and look forward to visit again! - Proximity to restaurants and venues was perfect. Loved the scenery
- Katrine Valderhaug (9/5): - Koselig stor leilighet med utsikt til vingården. Boblebad og basseng. Gå avstand til veldig to veldig fine restauranter. Frokosten var himmelsk.
- Gary (9/5): - Great value. Two room suite with a fireplace in Napa for under $300 is unheard of. While the rooms are a little dated they're well kept, clean, and comfortable. Bed was fantastic! Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Room was a bit dark (room 108) and, as mentioned, the bathroom and bar areas are a bit dated but not a deterrent for us. we'll be back. you really can beat the value!
- Suzanne (10/5): -
- Stan (10/5): - It was roomy and well appointmented. Excellent breakfast in a classy breakfast room. Comfortable bed and great pillows.
- Macy (9/5): - We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Vineyard Country inn. The rooms are slightly outdated, but the charm and quaintness of the property makes up for it. I cannot wait to stay here again
- Claudia C.C. (10/5): Acolhedor - Muito acolhedor, confortável e espaçoso.
Pequeno almoço muito agradável. Não foi reposta pastelaria. Nada
- Diana (10/5): A definite must when visiting St. Helena - The Inn was so quaint and they didn't miss a beat when it came to little extras in our room. Perfect location and lovely breakfast options. We will definitely stay there again!
- Julia (8/5): - The room was a good size, and we had a nice patio. The continental breakfast has great pastries. Price transparency. After we booked the room, it was listed $100 less than what we paid.
- Wilkinson (9/5): Very nice pleasant stay - Very clean, well appointed with towels, soap , coffee, wine glasses. Breakfast not available until 8 am
- YENNY (10/5): -
- Elaine (8/5): -
- Jochen (5/5): - Theoretically a very nice place at the end of St. Helena Main street very noisy in the night
Place needs renovation. Room had some smell and matresses too soft
Did not use the pool, did not look clean. Pity
Breakfast with very limited choice
- Julia (10/5): -

- Haaf (10/5): -
- Kenneth (10/5): -
- Suzanne (10/5): Quiet and cozy. - Great location. Quiet. Nice and accommodating staff. Light breakfast. Fireplace cozy. Highly recommend for those who like a kick back to old Napa. Not kid friendly - geared for the romantics and aged traveler. I love it. But if you’re into modern sleek this isn’t it. This is ole school napa valley. brick, slate roof, and antiques.
- james (10/5): Great place to stay when visiting St Helena - Charming inn with slate roof and copper gutters. Very nice room with fireplace and sitting area with a sofa snd chairs. Comfy king bed with spacious bathroom. Nice spa and pool which we used. Excellent breakfast with delicious pastries from Model bakery. Had room 115. Plenty of parking. Easy 15 minute walk to downtown St. Helena and restaurants and shops. A 10 minute drive to the great wineries along the Silverado trail. Great stay and plan in returning. Look of the building and location, excellent value

- Taylor (10/5): -
- Julie (10/5): -
- Karen (8/5): Had a great time except for the ants. - breakfast was very good. The rooms were very comfortable and all the amenities were very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was that two of the rooms had ants. We had purchased some baked goods and ants got in the even though they were on the tables. That
- Na Ree (10/5): -
- muriel (10/5): Surprisingly wonderful! - Great architecture and layout of rooms, lovely room, terrific breakfast, well insulated from traffic sounds on 29. Nothing; we’ll be back!
- Nicholas (10/5): Excellent location with a charming, clean suite - I was stunned at how beautiful the hotel was when we arrived. The reviews don’t do it justice. The location is very central to downtown. The room we booked seemed like we were upgraded because it was very well appointed and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.
- Susan (6/5): Hotel is old & decor dark. - We liked the location. The hotel grounds were lovely; the room decorations were dark, old, & curtains broken.
- Hyuni (10/5): -
- Ross (10/5): Thank you! - Everything Neema promised me a live bass in the toilet upon check in. Maybe next year.
- Lauren (5/5): If you don’t really care much about luxury and need somewhere to sleep and shower it may be okay. - Great location, quick drive to lots of restaurants, wineries, shops, etc. The fireplace is nice. It’s in need of a renovation. The carpet has to go, the bed spread is ancient, we only had a top sheet as a fitted sheet, there’s scratches on the night stands. There is a couch in the living space but it’s small and uncomfortable. The towels are straight bleach, not soft or fluffy at all. It has a lot of potential and great location, but in dire need of an update.
- Catherine (9/5): It was a very pleasant surprise! - The “Continental Breakfast” was extraordinary! Delicious pastries, warm hard boiled eggs, hot coffee, great tea selection.. it was over the top. Perfect location too! The rooms are a little outdated. Very clean though.
- Nicole (10/5): Fijne accommodatie met zeer vriendelijke personeel - Prima locatie om st Helena en de Napa Valley te ontdekken.
Zeer vriendelijk personeel en goede service N/a
- Vivian (7/5): Nice place other than the traffic noise in our room, which was closest to the highway. - The room was spacious, with a comfortable seating area. Breakfast choices were delightful. Yogurt, granola, English muffins. Eggs too, but we didn’t have them. Coffee was good too. Our room was much too close to the highway. Had to use ear plugs in order to sleep.
Asked for a room change, but was told there was none available. Next time, will not choose a courtyard room.
We didn’t know that it was so close to the road.
- Lauren (9/5): Great place! - Love that it was a suite! Breakfast is lovely! Location is great! Very comfortable bed with extra pillows!! The shades in the bedroom do not quite fit the patio doors or window, so the headlights of the cars passing by on 29 were constant.
- Letticia (10/5): The perfect place for a cozy weekend in December Holliday's. - A very cozy bedroom, super clean and matches perfectly with Napa. I have nothing to complain about. I wouldn't change a thing.
- Woodburn (8/5): Other than the bed, this is a nice property. - Overall it is an attractive property. I had no interaction with staff. The overall room was very nice and clean. The bed was so high I had to get a step stool from the truck for my wife to get in and out. The mattress was so soft I did not sleep well and had back pain for the two days I was in St. Helena.
- Mark (10/5): Lovely accommodations! Would love to return for another stay! - Loved the wood burning fireplace. Breakfast was simple, but very good.
- Gabriel (10/5): Perfect location. Centrally located. Friendly staff - Absolutely spotlessly clean!! Not water wise. 4pm check-in. Why is it always getting later?
- Chou (10/5): -
- Sharon (9/5): Was a great value - Location great! Breakfast ok. Pastries not real fresh and they need a microwave to heat them
Up!
- James (10/5): Perfect amenities in perfect location with excellent value. - Literally liked everything about the Vineyard Country Inn. Location within St. Helena was good and proximity to the rest of the Napa/Sonoma area was perfect. The room was very comfortable and included a fireplace. Very nicely appointed. Breakfast daily was very good. Staff were warm, friendly, and attentive. N/A
- Susie (10/5): - We have stayed at the Vineyard Country Inn multiple times. It is our go to place when we visit Napa as we tend to end our day coming up the valley and love the location as we are able to walk downtown St. Helena for dinner or a final tasting.
- Ann-Sofie (10/5): - Rent snyggt vackra byggnader, trevlig personal , mycket bra
- Shyam (8/5): -
- Andrea (10/5): A beautiful place to stay in Napa. - The rooms are spacious and immaculate. We enjoy having a separate sitting room (with a working fireplace!) The setting is quaint. The continental breakfast is lovely and in a beautiful room with a big window looking out onto the vineyard. This is the third time we’ve stayed at this property.
- Joe (10/5): -
- Benavides (10/5): -
- Vanessa (8/5): - Very nice place. Very close to downtown Saint Helena and restaurants. Nothing

- Bruce (8/5): -
- Tatyana (10/5): -
- Julia (8/5): - Location and Staff were wonderful, as was the breakfast. The facility could use some simple updates.

- Francesco (9/5): -
- Carol (10/5): Great place to stay . - Location & Breakfast
- Daniel (10/5): Beautiful location, cute cottages, decent breakfast. - Great location, near to downtown, but picturesque location next to a small vineyard. Adorable small cottage vibes. Clean rooms, responsive staff. Cheaper than other options in the area. Great pool and jacuzzi. Great value. Balcony was beautiful and overlooked a small vineyard, but was right next to a loud street. Balcony not as enjoyable with road noise.
- Michael (7/5): -
- Chris (9/5): Excellent and will come back. - Liked having living room and fireplace very much. Breakfast was good. Breakfast room is lovely. Bathroom maybe a bit dated.
- Linda (8/5): Delicious breakfast and wonderful location. Noise from the road distracting. - Charming decor and lovely gardens Noise from the road during the night kept me awake.
- Sergii (9/5): -
- Teresa (10/5): See above - Pleasantly surprised about this property. We would return again.
