Guest Reviews

- allanmV4231IA (2/5): Awful - Don't do it to yourself. Looked a bargain at $14. Pictures look great and room was huge however as soon as you walk in the building you can see no works been done to modernise it since it's been opened. Walking to reception I just knew I'd made a mistake. It looked so rundown. In need of TLC. The staff were friendly enough. 200 Bhat for key to the room which you get back once you check out. Making my way to the lift I thought I hope it works ok because I'm on the 13th floor 🙈. The lift carpet was stuck down by tape that had disintegrated through time 🤣. The lift was small and shabby but it went at quite a rate up to my floor so it seemed ok. Getting to my room and it was looked but not flush against the frame. It's was like a few cm space. Into the room and on first thoughts looked ok then I started moving around and realised it was older than our late queen (God rest her soul). Everything was old and badly worn. The place really needs lots of TLC. I decided to leave my bags and go walking. After a couple of hours I decided to checkout. The place was awful. I got a guesthouse which was the same price and what a difference. Clean and tidy. Not new but looked much nicer. Don't go here
- Verified traveler (6/5): -
- Michael5879 (2/5): Screaming Chinese tourist. - I will never come back here. On a daily basis 2 or 3 bus loads of screaming Chinese tourists arrive. They do not talk to each other they scream. You can here them coming up the lifts, even to the 18th flr. Forget about asking security to do anything as they just smile and do nothing. You will have to confront 10 or more of them who share a single room before anything will happen. They have no respect for other visitors or residents and are quite happy in groups of 5-7 or more to leave the swimming pool and enter the lift dripping wet. There is also no restaurant and the wi-fi is non existent. Unless you are a low class Chinese budget tourist you will hate this place.
- HowGoodAreYou (4/5): Going down hill - When we first stayed at this quirky hotel-come-residential block in 2011 it had new owners and was an interesting and cheap option with an extremely attentive manager. Sadly that first stay was the best. Now the maintenence and room cleaning has dropped below reasonable. Our room also had broken low level (easy for a young child to reach) wall light sockets that were live and unprotected. The rooms we looked at were dirty, with peanuts and other rubbish behind cupboards, (and a sock)! We have stayed in many hotels in the area over many years and it seems Pattaya and Jomtien have a problem with cleaning staff in many but the best hotels. If you want good value, the chances are the cleaning won't be up to scratch nowadays.
- JasmineE134 (10/5): More a long term stay option - Angket hip residence is at the end of jomtien beach (down soi wat boon) - it is about 700m from the beach road, so it is a walk to the beach and other nightlife of jomtein beach.
I would stay it would suit expats (as i am) that want to be close enough to the beach and a short trip on a motorbike to the supermarket, but far enough away from the nightclub scene and the noise (so i can relax and get a decent sleep).
The staff are super friendly, there are security guards on all night and day, cameras all through the car pack and hallways. Free wifi in the lobby, the pool and gym are kept super clean. And the cost is alot cheaper than that of a condo right on the beach. the balcony on the beach side has a lovely view of the beach and islands.
It would also suit older travellers who maybe want to stay for a month or so, and relax.
