• Cherie (10/5): - This is my all-time favorite bed and breakfast! The decor and the different rooms is amazing and the freshly cooked breakfast every morning is fantastic! I've stayed there three times, in the coral room, in the starfish room and in the seahorse room. I plan to return to stay in the other rooms as well. The location is fantastic, walking distance to restaurants, pubs, shops and the beach. And when I say walking distance I mean within 3 to 4 blocks to the beach. What's not to like! Owner is wonderful, location is fantastic, the bed and breakfast itself is amazing!

The staff is so nice and friendly. The balcony was great to enjoy the view and just relax outside. The breakfast was freshly made and so much better than you get at a hotel. This is all around a great place to stay. I know the rooms are small, but a refrigerator in the rooms would be nice. The room we were in had a blue flashing light all night that was annoying.

• Maria (10/5): Loved it! - What a wonderful getaway! You can not beat the location - easy free parking and then you can walk to the restaurants, shops and even the beach! The Inn Managers Angie & Carol made us feel like family - so warm & pleasant. We loved the breakfasts, especially the unique table where they have everything ready for you and the others can make your pancakes while you chit chat about your plans for the day. We met some very nice people that were also guests of the Inn. I can’t wait to go back!

The ladies made us a gourmet breakfast in the morning. Soooo good! There was a sangria waiting for us upon our arrival. We will be back for sure! Just a few blocks to the beach!

I still have the reservation and everything I called just to check on my reservation and she said it was canceled.there was a resort fee so she charged me twice as much Because she said I canceled my reservation. I never cancel my reservation so we can’t win only came in we came by to see if we could park here because check-in is at 4 o’clock, which is fine and my husband said oh can we check in early? Oh no she was kind of rude. I brushed that off. We go to the beach. Hang out we come back around 4:30. We rang the doorbell. She seems annoyed then the gave us the room, walked us up here kind of set the key down on the counter and said here’s your key. The code is this number and so we put our bags down we took a shower we left it went to just have a couple drinks came back because we were gonna catch Uber and go to a restaurant we got the code wrong and she had an attitude. She just really wasn’t very friendly very friendly or very nice for a bed-and-breakfast. She asked us if we want breakfast. What time breakfast was us at nine at 9:30 but does it say that on the site it says that the breakfast is like until 11 so I guess she was pushing us for breakfast. I didn’t want breakfast. I normally don’t eat it. My husband does so he said 930which is fine. I don’t know if she’s trying to push us out ! Not a good experience

• Thomas (10/5): The place to stay - This is the place to stay in New Smyrna. We felt at home and at ease from the moment we walked in. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. The facilities were clean and well appointed. The location is easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and the beach, but it it also feels like an intimate setting. The breakfast was amazing each day we stayed. Highly recommend.

Carol was a fantastic hostess and went well above and beyond our expectations. The description on Hotels.com doesn't do it justice. The recommendations for local restaurants, every themed room meticulously designed and the breakfast in the morning making this a 10 star B&B. Thank you Carol for a phenomenal experience. The room was spotless and the property was very well kept. As far as our visit, I think it’s a good thing when you feel the need to give the on-site manager- Carol- a hug before you leave. • Laura (10/5): Lovely Bed and Breakfast - This is a lovely bed and breakfast located near the beach, restaurants and shops. The owners went out of their way to ensure our visit was nice from the beautifully decorated room to a great breakfast. If you would prefer to stay somewhere quiet, you need to get off the main street away from the revelers. Luckily the noise does not go on all night, but you may need to bring your earplugs.

Both days we stayed there we ended up leaving after breakfast to grab lunch. If you eat at the table with everyone you also have the option to make your own pancakes but you do not get them if you request breakfast in bed. Note breakfast in bed is an additional $10 which should not be extra if you get less food and pay the already daily room fee.

We walked the beach, walked to The Garlic, then walked to the bridge to view the sunset. All was great fun, but the best was the rocking chairs on the front porch.

The downside is the noise from traffic and local bars. Our room and bathroom were right off dining area and common living area. Felt like we had no privacy.
• Lucas (10/5): Great hosts, and wonderful location…highly recommend the Inn on the Avenue! - Unfortunately, didn’t have the opportunity to get breakfast. Location is great, we wish we would have found sooner on our vacation as opposed to the last day of our vacation.
• Angeliea (10/5): - We were only in town for one evening. Carol and Angie who run it were so sweet. The place was so unique and each room was themed beautifully. We wished we could have stayed longer . We will definitely be back.

• Locke (1/5): We will never stay in or recommend this bed and breakfast again. - It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the house was in the perfect location/walking distance to the bars/restaurants. We stayed there for Valentine’s night and when we got there, our parking space was given away to another guest because they had two cars when they arrived (guests only have one parking spot per room). Then we were told that there were no eggs so they’d only be making pancakes in the morning (even though later on we saw a dozen eggs in the fridge). Then, once they found us a parking spot, when we tried to get in it, a man with a big truck with a trailer attached to it, pulled in and blocked the spot. When we asked him to please move because he was blocking the spot we were told to park in, he said NO and then walked into the house and began a friendly conversation with both women running the house. It was clear they knew him. We asked them to ask him to move his truck, and we were ignored. Then we make it to our room and even though when we booked it, we requested and paid for a room with a king size bed, we were given the only room out of the 7 rooms in the house that had two double beds. When we complained, the woman said, “we’re fully booked, what do you want me to do?” we said, “give us the room we requested and paid for” and she said no and then walked out of the room.
• Donald (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and comfortable, close to all attractions, excellent breakfast. Wifi was a little troubling, had to do a zoom call and connecting was a problem

• Verified traveler (6/5): Great location - Great location and parking. Walk to beach, boutiques, and restaurants. Safe and convenient. Clean. Wall unit A/C unit is noisy as it cycles on and off. Bed was squeaky. Breakfast not offered until 9 or 930. Steep winding staircase to get to upstairs rooms.

• Michelle (10/5): - Cute room and hostess was excellent. The breakfast in the monring was a perfect start to our day. Will return and try a different room. We stayed in the Seahorse room. Loved that it was ground floor, but up to trying the upper floor rooms.
• Maureen (6/5): - I made this reservation quickly without doing enough research about any acessability challenges and since th visit included my elderly mom I should have asked about ground floor accommodations before I booked it. Most of the rooms were upstairs.I loved its location andxthe host and the services provided were excellent.
• Charles g (10/5): Great experience - The stay was excellent. Room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was exceptional, friendly, and fun to be around. Morning breakfast was truly enjoyable and tasty. The only negative was the window shade didn't work.
• Mazzillo (10/5): The hosts of this BnB go out of their way to make our stay wonderful! - Everything about this property is wonderful! The location is great, right on the Main Street and only a few blocks from the beach. The hosts make you feel so welcome. The quirky decor is so cute. The breakfast is so good! The beds are very comfy. I could go on an on….. I loved everything!

• Michael (10/5): Gem in New Smyrna - We booked this hotel for a few days to do some adventures in the area. The choice came down to ratings from a few sites as I am a die-hard Marriott patron. While this B&B looks historic, it is a newer build with all the charm of the old days. The staff is competent, friendly and accommodating and overall a pleasant stay.

• Edward (10/5): Excellent Hospitality and Location!! - Fantastic location for the monthly wine walk. Situated in the center of all the boutiques, restaurants and bars. We chose the Flamingo room which was a great size with a door that opened directly onto the shared balcony overlooking the Flagler Ave. Our hosts were super accommodating and breakfast was delicious! We will definitely stay here again!!
• Susan (10/5): - The Inn is full of charming details everywhere you look. Carol was very welcoming and provided drinks, snacks and amenities that we appreciated after our drive. Our room is a delight of wall paintings, curious sharks and comfortable beds and linens. Parking is convenient. Really like the large porch on the second floor for people watching.
