There was litter 10m from the hotel entrance and around the grounds. The transfer to the airport suggested by the reception was 2,5 times the local price!!!

• Thomas (9/5): Eine wunderbar relaxte Auszeit mit Verwöhnprogramm direkt am Roten Meer. - Das Essen im Hotel-Restaurant war hervorragend. Wir hatten dreimal am Tag Buffet mit einer großen Auswahl an Omeletts, Früchten, Suppen, Salaten, Aufläufen, gegrilltem oder geschmortem Fleisch, Gemüsepfannen, Kuchen, Desserts. Wir sind rundum happy gewesen, uns an den gedeckten Tisch setzen zu können. Das Schnorcheln am Hausriff war sehr schön, ohne den Wind hätte es noch besser sein können. Es gab vorwiegend durch die Erderwärmung geschädigte graue Korallen, dazwischen aber auch immer wieder leuchtend pinke oder roséfarbene, was auf eine Erholung des Riffs deutet, - eine bunte Fischvielfalt, wir haben Schildkröten, einige Lippfische, Kammuscheln, Blaupunktrochen und einen Barracuda gesehen. Die Lage des Hotels zum Gemal National Park ist optimal, man kann kurze geführte Touren zum Beispiel mit dem Quad machen. Eine integrierte Tauchschule bietet auch Ausfahrten zu den Inseln an. Das Hotel bietet wunderschön bepflanzte und gepflegte Außenanlagen und Bars sowie Zimmer. Die Lage des Hotels ist einsam. Dort gibt es keine Stadt oder Dorf. Man kann sich wunderbar erholen, aber auch langweilen. Der große Negativpunkt in unserer Woche war die mangelnde oder unzureichende Internet-Versorgung. Wir sind stark auf die Kommunikation mit zuhaus angewiesen und das lief im Shams Alam nicht so optimal. Es wäre nicht so schlimm gewesen, wenn das Wetter besser mitgespielt hätte. Leider war ein ständiger Wind und das Schnorcheln dadurch zeitlich eingeschränkt. Aber das kann in der nächsten Woche besser sein. Man sollte sich im Voraus am Flughafen oder online eine ägyptische sim-Karte für ein Alternativprogramm besorgen.

El centro de buceo está a 5m por el paseo marítimo, y el safari en quad en Wadi Gemal muy recomendable Es perfecto para unos días de desconexión. Las habitaciones están genial, vistas increíbles y limpias. Se come bastante bien y variado en el buffet. Personal muy amable y hospitalario ! Wifi solamente en recepción y para recibir o enviar algún whatsapp, no tira para nada más.

Fate solo attenzione al periodo in cui andate e ai prezzi della clinica - La struttura mi è piaciuta in quanto è carina, con un punto mare molto bello e facilmente accessibile per tutti. Il personale è molto gentile e risponde alle richieste in modo celere ed efficiente. Le camere sono spaziose, pulite e i letti sono comodi. Il cibo un po' ripetitivo e, nel periodo in cui sono stata io, orientato alla cucina dell'est e nord Europa, quindi non sempre in sintonia con i nostri gusti. A ragion del vero devo dire che la maggioranza dei turisti presenti provenivano dai paesi dell'est e del nord europa, quindi immagino che chi vada in un periodo con maggioranza di turisti Italiani trovi una gamma di pietanze più gradite. I costi degli extra e dei servizi presenti nel resort. SPA: il prezziario dei trattamenti con cui si presentano i venditori sono paragonabili a quelli italiani (ovviamente potete trattare e in funzione del numero di trattamenti riuscite a spuntare un prezzo decente) Clinica: i prezzi applicati sono esorbitanti e molto superiori a prezzi del settore medico privato in Italia... in caso di necessità sappiate che la sola visita costa 150€ e per ogni trattamento medico si paga anche il tempo di permanenza nell'ambulatorio. Nel mio caso per visita, due trattamenti ( ciascuno con flebo e tre medicinali differenti) + 5 giorni di trattamento orale (15 pastigli) mi hanno chiesto circa 1700€.

• Roberta (8/5): Nella media, ma con potenziale - Nella media. Le camere sono tante, ma le aree comuni (es. Piscina) non sono altrettanto grandi. Il buffet è vario, ma nella proposta e nella presentazione si presenta molto anni 80/90, a volte ripetitivo. Degna di nota è la serata di cibo tipico egiziano che abbiamo molto apprezzato. La spiaggia è ampia. Avrebbe anche come predisposizione un campo da tennis e da beachvolley ma, nonostante si trovino in spiaggia, non c'è sabbia ma terra il che li rende inutilizzabili. Il campo da bocce invece è fruibile. Il biliardo in effetti c'e,  ma essendo in pendenza è impossibile giocarci. Non abbiamo trovato il biliardino pubblicizzato in descrizione. Presente invece il ping pong. Ci sarebbe la palestra che dall'esterno si presenta piccolina, ma non abbiamo avuto modo di vederla. A disposizione una spa (a pagamento) con prezzi accessibili. Giardini super curati, veramente belli. Lo staff è gentile e piu o meno parlano quasi tutti qualcosina di italiano. Il wifi funziona solo in piscina, al bar, in reception, parzialmente al ristorante e in spiaggia. Non c'è il wifi nelle camere. Non c'è animazione, né attività da fare di sera per cui probabilmente si presenta piu adatto per un pubblico adulto.

Resort tranquillo e confortevole Personale gentile e disponibile Ambienti ristrutturati ed estrema pulizia. Assenza di animazione invadente e/o rumorosa. Cucina passabile, ma non veramente buona.
• Lupin2897 (9/5): Relax, mare e romanticismo. - Location top, non lasciatevi scoraggiare dalla distanza dall'aeroporto, i posti più belli dove fare le gite si trovano in prossimità del resort (la spiaggia di Sharm el Luli è a 15 min di macchina). Il resort si presenta benissimo con una grande varietà di piante ed un giardino ben curato. Il mare è eccezionale, offre sbocco diretto su sabbia e la possibilità di osservare già dai primi metri la barriera corallina con tartarughe e il dugongo! Il bazaar offre dei buoni prodotti local e i ragazzi che ci lavorano sono simpaticissimi :) La cucina è ok, lo staff molto educato e rispettoso. Camera bellissima con cupola in mattoni sul soffitto e origami con asciugamani diversi ogni giorno. Nonostante la cucina fosse buona mi è spiaciuto vedere una scarsa varietà di pesce (considerando il fatto che si è a ridosso del mare), inoltre le scelte di cucina tradizionali egiziane erano fatte per piacere un po' a tutti quindi senza un vero carattere "local". La pulizia è sufficiente, bisogna tenere conto che c'è spesso molta sabbia sospesa in aria a causa del vento. L'idea però e che si poteva fare un poco più.

Posizione ottimale nonostante la distanza di un ora circa dall aeroporto. Il resort predilige la pace assoluta niente animazione e poca musica soft la sera. Nel resort sono presenti 3 piccoli negozietti con occhiali da sole spezie e lo stretto necessario. Consiglio escursione a Sharm el luli che dista 15/20 min di auto dall hotel Migliorerei la pulizia

• Jole (9/5): Rilassante e indimenticabile - La struttura dista circa 1h e mezza dall’aeroporto ma garantisco che ne vale la pena. La spiaggia è meravigliosa, con sabbia e barriera corallina, c’è la possibilità di avvistare tartarughe. È un posto tranquillo adatto a chi vuole rilassarsi, a chi adora il silenzio e la tranquillità. Il personale è disponibile, gentile sempre sorridente. Io e la mia amica abbiamo vissuto una delle esperienze più belle della nostra vita in Egitto e questo resort ha contribuito a renderla indimenticabile, un ringraziamento speciale a Matteo che ogni mattina ci accoglieva in spiaggia pronto a sistemarci il lettino ed il telo mare sempre con un sorriso. Abbiamo usufruito della spa (massaggio). Grazie ad Aziz (che ha un bazar nel resort) che ci ha accompagnate fino a Sharm el Luli, che dista 15/20 min dalla struttura. Ci ritornerei altre 1000 volte. La struttura è curata, giardino altrettanto impeccabile. Lo consiglierei a chi vuole evitare animazione invadente e resort chiassosi. È qui che riesci a godere del rumore delle onde. Di fianco al resort c’è un centro diving, che offre la possibilità di fare immersione per vedere la barriera corallina, è qui che abbiamo avvistato una tartaruga!! super raccomandato, Mido (l’istruttore) ci ha istruite e ha guadagnato la nostra piena fiducia. Non lo dimenticheremo mai❤️ Consiglierei di ampliare la scelta del cibo proposto nel menu, magari includere più frutta e più scelta per lo spuntino pomeridiano.

• Susanne (8/5): Ein sehr schöner & ruhiger Aufenthalt. - Wunderbare, sehr hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, schöne große Zimmer mit Balkon, alles sehr gepflegt, familiäre Atmosphäre, sehr ruhig und keine Animation, direkt am Strand, schöne Unterwasserwelt trotz nicht mehr so bunter Korallen, sofortige Hilfe bei technischen Problemen. Wasserspender, um Plastik zu vermeiden. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. WLAN nur an Rezeption und im Café und das auch sehr eingeschränkt, Standard Getränke super, aber keine guten Cocktails, Massage Anbieter am Strand etwas anstrengend abzuwimmeln.

• berniceac (10/5): Paradise..... - If you would like to stay in a peaceful paradise, enjoying the colourful, varied and abundant fish, blue sea, and lovely gardens this place is for you. If you are looking for nightlife, entertainment, and many bars then this is not the right place. We loved everything here. The design and architecture is great, with an Egyptian feel. We chose a superior room which was worth it for the view, size and proximity to the sea. The room was very clean and comfortable, with excellent shower, and nice terrace to enjoy the seaview. The staff were amazing. So friendly and accomodating. They work incredibly hard. We went in March. It was pleasantly warm. The snorkeling was amazing . It is sad to see that much of the reef has died, but there are still patches of vibrant coral. The fish are abundant and stunningly beautiful. I was also privileged to swim with the four Chelonia ( green) sea turtles. Less sea grass now so the Dugong no longer visits. Because the house reef is close to the shore, and the sea is calm, it all felt very safe. The sea was warm enough for me to stay in 45 mins, but if I went again at this time of year I'd probably take a short wetsuit. The food is really tasty, varied and plentiful. We particularly enjoyed those evenings when there was more of an Egyptian/ Middle Eastern theme. We loved the gardens, and looking at the desert around it is stunning to see what they have created here. There are a few trips available. Visit the dive centre early in the week for swimming, snorkeling or diving trips. There's also an agency offering trips but we didn't do any of these. There is a very nice spa onsight with friendly staff. 'Mo safari' come to the beach to offer a desert trip ( or ask at reception for Mo safari) which we chose to do. It was an interesting experience, and we're glad we went ( will review separately) Be aware that this resort is 1 HR 20 mins from the airport in Marsa Alam. The hotel can arrange transport. Our travel agent booked a taxi for us. (Our friends used an app where they advertised the job and people bid to transport them, but they had a bad experience). There is nothing nearby, you really are remote here. But it is totally amazing! As we could not fly direct from the UK we chose to fly to Cairo, spend a short time there, then return by the same route. Flights Cairo to Marsa Alam are twice a week. This resort is particularly popular with Germans. There were also visitors from France, Poland, and Czech Republic. No other Brits while we were there. (But English is the common language).

Upon check-in we got a room upgrade which was very nice 👌 The location of the hotel is directly facing the sea with a beautiful coral reef, within wadi elgemal national protected area. Is not i didn't like, in fact I did like but just worth to mention that since it is in a nature reserve you just need to get your necessities with you like medication. Though there is a clinic and pharmacy in the hotel.

• Anja (9/5): Schön für Taucher - Ganz wunderbar – perfekt für Ruhesuchende und Taucher Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr genossen. Wer Ruhe sucht und keinen klassischen Trubel braucht, ist hier genau richtig aufgehoben. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und angenehm unaufgeregt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das hervorragende Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Trotz des günstigen Preises war die Qualität des Essens durchweg sehr gut. Die Gerichte waren abwechslungsreich und immer frisch – deutlich besser, als man es in dieser Preiskategorie erwarten würde. Wir sind hauptsächlich zum Tauchen angereist und wurden auch hier absolut positiv überrascht. Entgegen mancher Beschreibungen ist die Tauchbasis zwar aktuell teilweise in Renovierung, bietet aber nahezu täglich Ausflüge in den Nationalpark an – sofern das Wetter mitspielt. Unser Guide war äußerst professionell, freundlich und engagiert. Auch ein Pärchen vor Ort, das dort seinen Tauchkurs gemacht hat, war sehr zufrieden. Für erfahrene Taucher besteht zudem die Möglichkeit, nach einem kurzen Check-Tauchgang selbstständig in kleinen Gruppen zu tauchen. Das Hausriff kann unabhängig davon jederzeit betaucht werden, was wir besonders geschätzt haben. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: Durch die in den letzten Jahren sehr hohen Wassertemperaturen im Sommer hat das Korallensterben leider auch hier Spuren hinterlassen. Die Tauchplätze sind nach wie vor schön, erreichen aber nicht mehr das frühere Niveau. Insgesamt sind sie leider nicht mehr besser, als die vielen Hausriffe die wir auf unseren verschiedenen Stopps zwischen dem Süden und dem Norden Ägyptens gemacht haben- auch der Nationalpark Wadi al Gemal ist nicht verschont geblieben. Was wir auch nicht so toll fanden, ist, dass die Bootcrew während unseres Aufenthalts im Nationalpark jedes Mal ungefähr 5-10 Fische geangelt hat. Wenn das jeden Tag passiert, kann man sich im Jahr auch ausrechnen, dass es durchaus einen Effekt hat. Und in einem Naturschutzgebiet, für das man einen Haufen Eintritt bezahlt, ist das eben nicht vorgesehen.

• L4126UWdavidc (10/5): Great Staff, Great Service, Great Location - A small hotel with the most amazing staff who work so hard so that we the guests can enjoy our holiday in a beautiful location on the shores of the Red Sea. A snorkeller's paradise with such a diverse selection of marine life. It's all about peace and tranquility with no animation or loud music playing just the sounds of birds accompanied by the waves lapping the shore. Rooms are comfortable with fridge, TV, kettle with teas/coffee/sugar all replenished daily and perfect air conditioning. Bathroom with shower and refillable shower gel and shampoo provided. The Restaurant is under refurbishment at the moment (will be finished very soon) so temporary restaurant upstairs with amazing views across the complex out to sea. Food well cooked, you won't go hungry with live cooking stations at all meal times and accompanied with great attentive service. Wifi available in reception and pool bar which is good. Hopefully we will return soon to our second home in the sun 🌞

Abbiamo apprezzato in particolare l'atmosfera tranquilla e la mancanza di animazione. purtroppo durante il nostro soggiorno c'era molto vento per cui non abbiamo potuto godere appieno dell'house reef, che in condizioni normali dicono sia spettacolare. la zona reception e il ristorante erano in ristrutturazione.

• Peggy (8/5): - Das Personal ist super freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend!! Die Unterkünfte sind sehr schön und groß, wenn auch hier und da etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Jedes Zimmer hat Meerblick. Das Hausriff ist immer noch voller bunter Fische, obwohl die meisten Korallen leider inzwischen abgestorben sind. Es lohnt sich immer noch, hier zu schnorcheln. Der Zugang ist sehr einfach vom Strand aus oder über einen Steg Das Hotel hat eine "Clinic" / Hotelarzt. Leider kann ich davor nur warnen. Die Behandlungsmethoden sind äußerst fragwürdig und völlig überteuert. Leider muss ich nach Gesprächen mit mehreren Ärzten inzwischen davon ausgehen, dass mir hier völlig unnötig 4 Stiche durch den Fingernagel zugefügt wurden, um eine relativ harmlose Verletzung am Finger zu nähen. Sehr enttäuschend, sollte hier die Aussicht auf viel Geld die Motivation für eine überflüssige und äußerst schmerzhafte Behandlung gewesen sein. Mein Rat: Sollten Sie dennoch einen Arzt vor Ort benötigen, hinterfragen Sie alles sehr genau und treten Sie nicht in Vorkasse sondern lassen Sie direkt mit Ihrer Versicherung abrechnen. Dies hat sehr wahrscheinlich in einem anderen Fall zumindest dazu geführt, dass keine überteuerten Kosten in Rechnung gestellt wurden. Man sollte außerdem wissen, dass das WLAN im Hotel kostenpflichtig ist. Momentan werden 2 €/30 min. berechnet.

The hosts are personally kind and welcoming, the food is excellent and varied, and the cherry on top is a fantastic beach. A very positive note is the recommendation from the great Tyson to try the spa, which offers an excellent experience with competent and extremely kind staff.

Az ètelek a legjobb ìzűek az eddigi helyekhez viszonyìtva. Minden napra ùjabb ètelvàlasztèk. Nem volt unalmas. Az ètterem nagy, nem nyomasztó. Januárban kevesen vannnak a vendégek, több figyelem a szemèlyzettől. Nincs gyerekzsivaj, bulizós ricsaj. Kulturált vendégek vannak. A szálloda tiszta. Kicsi, de minden kenyelmet kiszolgàl. Van fitness terem, edző, spa, fodrász, massage, kirándulás, diving, boltok. Nem kell óràkig gyalogolni a parthoz a szobàból. A parton több reef is elérhető. Jó snorkel lehetősèg. Szabadon besètàlható. -

Külön fizetéssel 30 percenként! A Szálloda által kinált "safari utak" nem fedik a valóságot. Azonban lehet hogy ez csak minket érintett. Túlárazott.
