• Nicole Sabrina (9/5): Traumhaft und Entspannend - Wir waren zum zweiten Mal da, weil es beim ersten Mal so traumhaft war. Und es war wieder genau so traumhaft. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet und sehr aufmerksam. Das Personal wirklich sehr freundlich. Es gibt keine störende Animation. Essensbuffet ist klein, aber qualitativ hochwertig. Es gibt außerdem ein á la Carte Menü. Man kann auch die Angebote der anderen Hotels in der Anlage nutzen. Allgemein ist die Anlage sehr gepflegt und wird kontinuierlich instand gehalten. Wir haben wenig der Angebote genutzt, da wir hauptsächlich mit dem Tauchcenter unterwegs waren (das übrigens auch sehr empfehlenswert ist!!). Das Mobiliar ist etwas abgewohnt und könnte erneuert werden (wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer in 2. Reihe zum Strand). Aber m.W. sind bereits einige Zimmer renoviert und dieser kleine Makel stört kein bisschen.

Das Essen hat etwas nachgelassen in den letzten 2 Jahren es ist immer noch gut aber es wahr schon besser.

• nickijane25 (10/5): Lovely quiet relaxing hotel - We stayed for a week in January and found the Shams Prestige to be very relaxing and quiet. The staff are really attentive and friendly and genuinely want to make your stay special. Special mention to Mr Ali, Mohammed from the beach, Samir, Abaas the barman, and all the restaurant staff who go the extra mile. Every night in the restaurant was a different theme and the gala dinner was excellent. This is the adults only hotel and we really appreciated that this was enforced so that the atmosphere remained a bit more upmarket. There is no entertainment here but if that is your thing you can go next door to the sister hotel. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Personal hat sich auch fast nicht verändert, zur Erholung und Ruhe ist es bestens zu empfehlen. Herrlich. Dazu diese ehrliche Freundlichkeit von Allen. Essen Top! Manager erkundigt sich oft bei allen Gästen nach Befinden bzw. ob etwas fehlt. Bekam sogar ein kostenloses Upgrade in ein Superior Zimmer mit Außen-Whirlpool. Ich werde wieder dieses Hotel buchen. Geschäfte fußläufig bzw. mit Taxi (ggfs.) kleine Ortschaft erreichbar. Soul-Spa für Massagen (gehört zur Shams-Kette) ebenso sehr zu empfehlen, top ausgebildetes Personal! Soul-Spa ist im Hotel Imperial nebenan, ca. 4 Gehminuten Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden

• Herbert (9/5): Phantastic stay! Great hotel! Great in combination with water sports (ION Club; wing foiling...) - Excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. Due to the fact that the hotel is comparatively small to the neighbouring hotels, the restaurant had a great "restaurant" feeling that you simply cannot get at very large restaurants. The staff was extremely polite, helpful. As we also used the watersports facility (ION - Club; great equipment and facilities by itself - highly recommended) for Wing Foiling, the hotel was the perfect location for us. We can highly recommend the hotel ! No improvement recommendation. Everything really great!

The staff are all incredible and can't do enough for you, always with a smile. The food was excellent and varied, we were spoilt for choice. If you like lively, party atmosphere then this is not the place for you. If you want an escape with the friendliest staff you will not find better. We will be returning next year.

Food is only thing that coud of been tastier. Pool area nice and cozy. We enjoyed sun by the beach. Sunbeds were nicely situated and service was excellent there too.

The ION kite club very nearby and you can see the kites flying, this is beautiful and very convenient for kiters like me. Very nice pool and beach. This is a nice, relaxing and quite place.

A quiet and very nice environment, the room very comfortable, the jacuzzi on the terrace, in front of the sea was such amazing ! The restaurant offered some various and delicious dishes, and I enjoyed the barbecue evening on the beach. I recommend this hotel and I will certainly come back soon !

If i could give it more than 5 stars I would. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a totally relaxing holiday experience. Thank you to all the staff that made our holiday magical. We will be back next year.
• Ralf (9/5): perfect for relaxing - The varied food. Especially the mix of local and international cuisine. Room 1008 was perfectly located. Right next to the pool and 5m from the beach. Still very quiet as there is no annoying animation at the Prestige. The speed of the internet connection. Wifi connection is good, but the configured bandwidth was poor at 1.5Mbit/s. (the manager will take care of this problem).

• Sylvie (9/5): Very nice relaxing place - Bed was very comfortable (pillows were not, but nowhere at the Red Sea you will find good pillows), beautiful view, excellent restaurant with great service. The ION kite club very nearby and you can see the kites flying, this is beautiful and very convenient for kiters like me. Note that other guests were not kiters but rather elderly nice Germans. Very nice pool and beach. This is a nice, relaxing and quite place. Difficult to open the door with the magnetic card. For both rooms I visited the staff had this problem. Same for me, it was taking me at least 8 tries each time until the door would open. It may be a battery problem. Hope the hotel will fix that soon.

• Andrea (10/5): Ein traumhaftes Hotel für Erwachsene - Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist in diesem kleinen Resort richtig. Es gibt keine Animation, keine Strandverkäufer, keine Kinder und hauptsächlich Gäste aus Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz. Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb. Auf der einen Seite sind die beiden Schwesterhotels, deren Einrichtungen (zB. Fitnessraum, Spa, Restaurant, Bar) von den Gästen des Prestige mitbenutzt werden können. Auf der anderen Seite ist eine Kite-Station und Wüste. Also wirklich ruhig. Von allen Mitarbeitern wird man von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise aufmerksam, freundlich und unaufdringlich umsorgt. Fragen, Wünsche oder Probleme kann man jederzeit äußern und diese werden (nach Möglichkeit) umgehend beantwortet, erfüllt bzw. behoben.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Oase der Ruhe und Entspannung - Hier kann man wunderbar Relaxen und Ausspannen. Eine zauberhafte, kleine Hotelanlage ohne Kinder und Animation. Die Freundlichkeit und Servicebereitschaft aller Mitarbeiter sind Weltklasse. Extrawünsche werden sehr gerne erfüllt, und falls es doch einmal ein Problem gibt, wird dieses auch umgehend behoben.
• paul (10/5): Friendly and professional - This is a small, low-rise luxury hotel with a private beach area. Rooms are large, well equipped and, I think, all have sea views. The hotel caters for adults only and has a relaxed feel with friendly and attentive staff. I stayed on an all inclusive basis and the standard of service and food was high. Hazem on reception was especially attentive to guests ensuring that all their needs were being met while at the hotel. I used the transfer service arranged by the hotel (from Hurghada) which at 35 Euro for a return journey, seemed good value. I chose the hotel because of the good reviews and because there is a kite station adjacent, although I ended up using Tornado surf's kite boat service (also excellent) in the end and didn't kite off the beach. I'd highly recommend this hotel based on my stay for one week in September 2017.

Zuvorkommendes Personal, gute Qualität der Verpflegung, große und saubere Zimmer - mehr brauchen und erwarten wir nicht. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Preise sind in den letzten Jahren stark angestiegen.
