• Peter (8/5): A great budget option for George Town. - Room had only 4 beds; I requested and received a lower berth. Strong ac in the room. A nice lockable compartment right above the bed, plus some shelves; hooks in the room for hanging clothes. A limited but adequate free breakfast. Staff were super nice and helpful. Location perfect for exploring the old quarter. Showers a little funky but no big deal really.

• Joey Phillips (8/5): House Improvement - Female dorms was safe for me. Both lady receptionist was helpful and understanding. Breakfast only using the same white bread everyday. The wholemeal or whole grain bread would taste nicer with butter and jam. Example; Massimo green packet bread is wholemeal bread. The butter is actually 'marjerin'...it is not 'butter'. I suggest to use brand "Buttercup" butter is cheaper and healthier than using marjerin butter which not for health. I'm only suggesting and i'm not complaining. Thank you for your good service.
• Joey Phillips (8/5): - Both the female receptionist Alice and the malay lady was kind, respectful and understanding of my request. I'm suggesting to have a long wall mirror in the female dormitory. I had to walk in and out of the room many times to use the mirrors outside the bathrooms. Long wall mirror is needed when wearing long dresses. So, we can admire ourselves during changing and wearing our dresses.

• KAZUHIKO (9/5): ロケーションが最高 - ロケーションが良い。フェリーターミナルから徒歩圏内で無料循環バスキャットのセントジョージバス停のすぐそば。両替所が同じ通りのすぐそばに多数ある（7〜8軒？）トイレ、シャワーが複数あった。ドライヤーがあるのが良かった。入口が開放されており朝夕通りを眺めることができる。内装がレトロで趣がある。 エアコンが稼動してないのが残念。 深夜にチェックインしてきた中国人が大声でしゃべり床を踏み鳴らし、荷物を狭い床の真ん中に置き暗い中トイレに行く時つまづいた。彼のマナーの悪さにうんざりした。

• camille (8/5): Bon séjour - Qualité / prix c’est très correct. J’avais une chambre privée et c’était très bien. L’auberge est bien située et proche des centres d’intérêts. Le personnel est très gentil et la réception est ouverte 24h/24h. Le petit déjeuner est léger (tartines, café, thé). Quelques tâches sur les draps et serviettes. Comme c’est une auberge il faut s’attendre à entendre un peu de bruit quand il y a du passage.

My bed was in dorm which is like a mini toilet start and finish. Stinky and moisture on the walls as other side of the wall are toilets from every time you can hear the sound of water pipe from toilet. So annoyed when you sleep. All of sudden in the midnight or any time in the night you can hear the sound of water pipe for continuous noisy. You can’t sleep well, Bed has bugs I am not sure how to call them those are black color go in your furniture and spread of more and more. Very dangerous. I complaint about water Pipe at the reception woman name is ‘ALICE’. First of all about her behaviour is so rude and no idea of what is the meaning of hospitality and how to treat to a guest. While complaining to her, she said this is hostel and cheap, so ?? as she showed me that I never stayed in the hostels and why we can’t give you feedback what is wrong here. When my friend ask me about this issue, I was explaining to him, she start to tell me rudely, you can change your room but I will not give you lower bed, so I had no option to change because I have issue in my leg I couldn’t change it to upper bed in another room. She said you are not allowed to speak to other anyone???? What’s that mean, she spoke very rude and made me more frustrated from this hostel. One day prior they had issue with another Chinese couple where they removed their bags in the day time from the room and they opened their room from spare keys without their presence. So I will see this Red inn hostel is Red flag for travellers. I am posting pictures about breakfast as they removed at 10:25 though 10:30 am is breakfast time. Also watermelon they count how much people are taking and they never have watermelon available for breakfast.

• Borré (9/5): - I don't get the low rating! Aircon works good, they work hard to make sure there's no mold. If there used to be, it's because people leave wet stuff in the rooms. There is NONE now. Breakfast is simple but free. Free clean towels you can have 1 a day! Enough shower facilities. Location is terrific. Not a social hostel and fruit with the breakfast quickly runs out. Rooms are a bit small.

El baño era compartido y también siempre estaba sucio, no lo limpiaba seguido. Les mandé mensajes desde antes y no me respondieron. El desayuno muy precario, no fue nada barato por lo poco que daban y las condiciones del alojamiento.
• Mon (4/5): Be aware - For the price as it is u can say much. The air conditioning was good it was nicely cold It was dirty like they were trying to hide it not doing a good job. When i open the curatin to my bunk the comforter was folded in however the bed sheet is really dirty so many food spill(i think) it was awful. Like yes u were cheap but cleanliness is BASIC

• Jonalyn (7/5): - Very great location. Near the Armenian Street and Little India Street. They also provide fresh towels by request. Shower Room. The shower room's entirety needs improvement. It looks dirty due to the wall and floor. Too cramped and not much space to put your towel or fresh clothes on. Shower head needs replacement and cleaning. They also don't allow indoor slippers in the room that I had no choice but to walk barefoot from shower to room as they'll call you out. It's unsanitary. Bedroom. I am situated at the top bunk bed it's disappointing that there is only one ladder for two bunk beds with no handle at all. I sometimes trip due to this. Bed sheet seems like not being replaced every after user. Socket is inside the small cabinet you have to open it every time you want to use it.

• Lena (4/5): - Die Lage des Hostels ist gut Leider nicht so sauber - sowohl das Bett als auch der Rest des Zimmers. Wir hatten Bettwanzen im Zimmer und haben dann problemlos für eine Nacht ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Danach sollten wir angeblich wieder in das alte Zimmer zurück, was wir nicht wollten, weshalb wir einen Aufpreis für ein anderes Zimmer zahlen mussten. Allerdings war unser altes Zimmer trotzdem nicht nutzbar, was den Aufpreis für das andere Zimmer nicht ganz rechtfertigt. Bei unserer Nachfrage wurden wir unfreundlich darauf hingewiesen, dass wir nicht in das Zimmer zurück wollten und deshalb selbst schuld seien.

• 蒙蒙 (8/5): 居住的很舒适，对于经济状况一般的人来说是个非常好的住所。 - 1. 交通方便，出门吃饭、散步都是走几步就到；2. 早上8:30-10:30提供简单早餐，面包、西瓜、咖啡、茶，可以坐在一楼大厅慢慢吃；3. 洗浴间和厕所是干湿分离的，且总计有六间，一般不会产生排队的情况；4.提供浴巾、洗发水、沐浴露，日常个人清洁可以完全满足；5. 工作人员非常友善，预定时说明了需要女生房间，入住时也分到了女生房间，非常感谢🙏。 1. 比较老的建筑，木地板隔音很差，楼上的脚步声可以很清晰的听见；2. 房间和公共区域比较狭窄。
• SHUYANG (8/5): If only there are windows - I really like the vibe, the decor, and the greenery outside the front door. This kind of vibe can easily make one feel like home. I miss it. The facilities are old but clean. Showers and toilets are in separate cubicles, which is good. The staff are friendly. Being able to get a simple breakfast at the beginning of the day is a huge plus for me (toast + jam/butter + watermelon + coffee/tea). I especially like that there is a shelf on each bed, with a small locker for valuables (you can put your laptop inside, but bags cannot fit in). There is some small space in between buildings on the ground floor where you can hang clothes and they dry quickly. Poor ventilation in the dorm. The windows are all sealed with non-removable plastic sheets, and it is a very small room, with mold spots on the ceiling, I can smell the dampness when the air-con is off. All these made me concerned about the air quality, though to be fair I did not actually feel unwell during my 3-night stay. I think they are to some extent aware of it, as an air purifier is placed in the room. This may be a minor issue for others: when I stay in the common area, every time someone smokes outside, I can smell some of it due to the inward airflow.
• SATINDER (7/5): I recommend that place for stay. And willing to stay there in my next trip. - Location, Many options for food around. Everything nearby walking 5-15 minutes, Breakfast was just ok but enough. Cats but they was nice cats. Staff was good & polite. Komtar Bus terminal, 15 minutes easy walk. Budget traveler, solo traveler best option for them. I stay there 04-07/12 3 nights or 4 days. But they doesn’t change bad sheets. Towels can change everyday. And there was in my room a person disturb all night and day bad number B, he switch off fans, air-con, even room air purifier also. All night, afternoon disturb. Go out never close door. Cough all nights. But it’s not fault of Property.

• kakish (2/5): - The staff is nice, the sheets of the bed where good enough, it is cheap and close to the Armenian street It’s disgusting, I’m really sorry but the room smelled horrible I think from humidity, the ceiling had black moldy things, the cups are used for maybe over 50 years they where almost rusty the bathrooms are a nightmare I knew it’s not a 5 star hotel but didn’t expect it to be like this, I’m sorry my review is very straight forward but I had to be honest

El 🐱muy cariñoso, la señora que me atendió muy simpática, el precio, puedes dejar tu equipaje Las sabanas aunque limpias estan viejas , el hotel es viejo, el colchón ha pasado mejores momentos, las tazas del cafe, no dan ganas de tomar nada!

• Dana (8/5): - Výborná lokalita Pomer cena a výkon Fontána na pitnú vodu Výkonná klimatizácia Pani na recepcii boal veľmi milá Muž, čo v hosteli pomáhal bol arogantný a nepríjemný. V deň nášho odchodu sme čakali na raňajky a videl že sa ponáhľame. Miesto toho, aby priniesol jedlo včas chytil metlu a začal zametať spoločné priestory. Priniesol ho až keď sa začali hromadiť na recepcii ľudia. Robil to viditeľne naschval a užíval si to. Veľmi jednoduché raňajky - toast, jam a melón Netiekla teplá voda Posteľ pre dvoch so spoločným matracom

• Sophie Fatna (4/5): - Das einzig gute war die Lage Die Reinigungskraft hat mich die ganze Zeit beobachtet - was als alleinreisende Frau sehr schlimm war. Wenn er zum Putzen ins Zimmer gekommen ist, hat er mich angemotzt und mit dem Besen gegen meinen Rucksack geschlagen. Danach wollte er meine Tasche mit meinen Schuhe wegschmeißen… Ich hatte wirklich Angst vor ihm. Im Raum ist außerdem kein Platz für das Gepäck - es ist sehr eng und du kannst dich im Raum nicht richtig bewegen!

• Uchenna (8/5): Bon séjour - L'emplacement est super! Chambre propre, perdonnel gentil Vraiment pas grand chose à proposer pour le petit déjeuner, c'était vraiment basique de chez basique. Un tout petit pour le petit déjeur si ça serait apprécié 🙂
