- Kimberly (4/5): False Advertisement by Hotels.com - The property is under construction/remodel. The hotel manager said he told hotels.com there are no Amenities at this time and for another few weeks. We were under false advertisement during the booking of this room. It was when we arrived, we found out about no breakfast, water, ice or Amenities.
- Amanda (6/5): - They are remodeling and supposedly Under New Management. However there was no breakfast which okay maybe I can get past that, but no coffee!!! There is no coffee maker in the room no coffee up in the front office. I had specifically chosen this one because it offered breakfast and it was close to where I needed to be. Don't say that you offer breakfast if you're not going to offer it! They had me in a room that wasn't completely sealed. I hope that they get that fixed before bugs and things become an issue. It was extremely hard to sleep because all I could hear was the traffic all night long. I don't normally watch TV but this time I had chosen to watch some TV except the up Channel and down Channel button on remote doesn't work so you have to put in a number hyphen button and another number in hopes that you find something. As you can tell I'm a little grumpy from lack of sleep and no coffee. Hopefully they can get all these things taken care of quickly so others don't have this experience.
- Sasha (6/5): - So normally I WOULD NOT put my personal business out there and I would have addressed this in person but… my children are experiencing hard times in life and are in the process of finding a new home. I am a full time mom and have a full time job as well. I booked this stay for 2 nights because it was the cheapest I could find in a hurry. I get it. We get what we pay for but I DID NOT nor do I recall purchasing BEDBUGS. I have pictures of them saved. I had work on both of the days we stayed here and I ended up just staying up all night or most of the night keeping watch while my kids tried to get some rest for school the next day. I do not and did not have time to deal with this in person but the evidence speaks volumes because this being a hotel on the outskirts of Cuero on a main road I see it every single time I make a trip that way so almost daily. For the past few months I would often see debris thrown outside. I ASSUMED that they were just remodeling because hotels do that. Now… I am assuming now that it was due to an infestation. The mattress pads seemed brand new the top mattress was new but…… if you have an infestation of sorts EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE CHANGED OUT . The box springs were old still. The bedding as well. The bed skirts showed numerous signs of age. I was not happy with this because I have dealt with bed bugs due to hotel carelessness before and I refuse to do so again especially with 3 kids and trying to move!

- Joel (2/5): - This property isn’t nothing like the pictures. No lawn maintenance whatsoever. Rooms are dirty and not maintained. I will never get a room at this location again.
- Brittany (2/5): - To start, the door could barley open. The floor and sink were dirty. There was no toilet paper, no hand soap, no mini shampoo and conditioner and the AC never cooled down. The toilet would hardly flush. The staff member was told the issues and replied “oh, the house keeper must of forgot to restock in that room”.

I talked to the desk person as we checked out about it and he was understanding, told me he would let the cleaning crew know. Then went to get coffee and it was filled with coffee grounds as it poured out.

- Cameron (10/5): Good Choice for My First Experience in a Hotel - Stayed two nights. The room upon arrival was tidy, bed was made, towels were folded and on the racks, overall pretty comfy first impression. We had a wonderful time during the duration of our stay. Only recommendation would be the addition of some form of anti-slip mat or the like in the tub. It gets quite slick with soap. Just be mindful when moving around.

Most of the clientele appear to be oil/gas or construction crews so it was a little noisy at first but by 1030 or so everything calmed down and I had a pleasant nights sleep. Also the stay comes with a hot breakfast which was not much to speak of but it served its purpose.

I ate the entire reservation $ because I did not feel safe or comfortable staying at this hotel. The rating on this hotel needs to be adjusted accordingly. The lobby is the 1st representation of the hotel and it was so horrible that I didn’t even make it to the room. There wasn’t even a representative in the dark lobby. You had to ring an outside bell. No thank you!

But when the sheets were pulled Back there was a small dead roach in what was supposed to be a clean freshly made bed! Ugh! Gross! I wasn't made aware of that until after we left the next day... So I wasn't able to address it with hotel staff. Had I known at that time, I would have reported it immediately!

My only downside is that I am older and bathtubs that have a slick bottom can be hazardous. I put a hand towel on floor of tub to shower and that helped against being slick. Would stay there again.
