Guest Reviews
- Jillian (2/5): - Unhelpful staff- dirty linen- dirt everywhere
- SAYED IMTIAZ (2/5): Avoid at all costs - This hotel is not what it claims to be and is at best a Yatri Niwas for the numerous Yatris that throng Puri. I had made a reservation about 10 days ago paying all costs for 2 days of stay. I had a official conference in Puri ending around the same time. My brother was supposed to join me from my home town of Cuttack. I went in the morning to complete the check in Since I am an Odia staying in Delhi, U started conversing in Odia. Don't know whether this was a let down, coz I checked in and left to my conference hotel to complete the same. My brother checked in at 11 am. I completed my conference and came back to the hotel to the room now allotted to my brother. The room was shaby , half done and looked like the one which they give to drivers accompanying family on trip for night stay. The intercom was not working. We were given unsealed ordinary water. This got my goat and I called the reception from my mobile. After giving them an earful on the shabby room and services, one of the team leader appeared at our door step. After I told him that I will not stay unless there is a change in my room, he managed to give me a decent room.
Pathetic service, bad infrastructure and the inability to treat guests with a service attitude is what charaterises this hotel while charging premium tariff . What was supposed to be a good memories for us brothers catching up after 2 and half years turned out to be a sour memory.
Avoid at all costs!
- Nagabhushan (4/5): Terrible Experience - I have booked the room from hotels.com, for 3pax includes one child with complimentary breakfast. Not sure what is the communication received from the booking service provider, hotel management denied provide breakfast, infact I have asked email proof, but the reception executive denied to show the email received from hotels.com room service is pathetic.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The property is very close to the beach (3 minutes walk). The food was very good.
The property needs renovation desperately. There were cracks in the building. The paint on the door and the ceiling fan was coming off. The washbasin in the kitchen was rusted. It is just in terrible condition.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very helpful staff though it appears that the hotel is more geared towards mass hospitality such as Indian weddings rather than providing personalised service for an individual guest. Internet is only available in the reception and lobby area which was somewhat inconvenient where one’s room may very far from the reception area. Location is good on the quieter side of the beach.
- Asit (10/5): WOW - amazing.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Its a bussy schedule hotel - I am booking this hotel in working days but i request the hotel management to change any weekend date of any month but the hotel management denied to change the date and refuse to return my paid money. They force to me go on that day.
- Surajit (8/5): Good hotel within budget - Bit far from the beach and no views.. but rooms are well appointed and all facilities are up to the mark. Little stringent on their rules on breakfast dates being moved around but overall a decent experience
- Verified traveler (10/5): Far from the madding crowd - We had an amazing stay for 4 days. Clean, airy and spacious room quite near the beach. Food is good and affordable. Staff are courteous and helpful. Ideal for family holidays.
- mohammed (6/5): - few rooms of resort is not maintained
- Dev (2/5): Hotel room condition was poor - AC was not working. Hotel staff could not fix it.
There was no water in the rooms
Fan regulator was not working.
- Anurag (6/5): Good budget hotel - Good 3* hotel with nice access to the beach. Nice rooms and decent service as well. Food is outstanding - go there just for the food. Within the budget range it's s nice option in Puri. Please avoid using their travel desk called Double Zeroo .. Their travel partner is rude and unprofessional. Overall a nice experience.
- Ravi Bajaj (8/5): Good Resort - service was very good and the staff was very cooperative and helpful food was also good butvthe only draw back is that Resort is at the end of the road which is not good but still i will recommed to go..
- DWAIPAYAN (8/5): Woderful holidays. - Enjoyed our stay. The food was really good. Only draw back is availability of local commuting vehicles. However, it is yet to be a real 4 star facility.
- Bennie (2/5): Not a great place to stay - The hotel/resort is located quite far from the hub (Swargaswar). They dont have any shuttle service so you have to pay Rs 100/- everytime to go there. However, the beach is pretty close by and s very clean.
The staff is great, courteous and prompt and also the food in the restaurant is very decent, fairly priced.
The resort in general is clean.
However, the only draw-back we faced was the rooms were not at par with the rate.
They were way over-priced ( Rs 4922/- approx per night). We had delux rooms.
The balcony railing was dirty, overall the room had a cheap hotel room feeling. The hot line in bathroom was not working. They fixed it instantly, still not working well. There were lizard poops all over the bed. They changed the cover but when we returned, there were more. I think the millions of insects that come in are great feast for lizards. They should make eveyr attempt in reducing lizards in the rooms. You dont want to pay so much money for this.
