• Franziska (10/5): Eine Perle in Sedona. - Eine kleine Perle in Sedona. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und waren traurig, dass wir nur eine Nacht hier verbracht haben. Die Aussicht ist ein Traum. Es gab Snacks, Getränke und eine T-Shirt zur Abreise. Das warme Frühstück war speziell 😊 Die Umgebung ist traumhaft, Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Der Parkplatz ist direkt vor der Unterkunft, absolut empfehlenswert.

Since we have been home, we have tried to duplicate the chai pudding but it just doesn't compare! The only thing that could have been better is if we had additional time to spend at the Penrose. I simply can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay!

• Carol (10/5): An Arizona Moment of Zen - Location by Bell Rock was amazing. Peaceful, decent WI-FI, fabulous breakfasts, free snacks, free non alcoholic drinks. The majestic red rocks were magical. The outdoor deck was great for bird watching and relaxing. Bathroom needs updating. Bed linens had stains. Better room door locks needed.

• Kimberly (10/5): - First of all the view is gorgeous! The owners and staff were welcoming, informative, gracious, and just great people! The place was clean, comfortable, quiet. Rooms were same with comfortable bed, bath, and view that you just could not get enough of! The breakfasts were gourmet and filling. Snacks and drinks available 24 hours. Living room and dining room made you feel at home and provided lots of reading material. They also have movies. We just loved it and will be back!

• Laurin (6/5): Nice location, but had some weird vibes. - The view was great even though I was in the middle room, and it was relatively quiet for being a full house. I only stayed one night bc it was my last stop on the trip, but it just felt a bit unwelcoming. I had to leave early to catch my flight and even though I told them, they were able to give me anything for breakfast. They also didn’t have any non dairy milk, so no coffee either.

I enjoyed breakfast but my husband needed more basic options. Our servers every morning were very good! We were over charged for our stay but they did return the over charge.

The views from the parking lot and rooms were breathtaking. Access was super; and we were able to avoid all the normal Sedona traffic b/c of the location. • Andrew (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at the Penrose B&B for our anniversary. It is situated a few miles south of Sedona, away from high traffic and crowds. We found it very convenient to go to/from Sedona while having a quiet place to recuperate from hikes. The room was comfortable with a large bathroom, and a great view. The breakfasts were terrific, different every day, and seemed amenable to food allergies/preferences. And finally, the staff were all wonderful: from checking us in and giving us a lay of the land, to offering advice on things to try, to serving breakfast. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to want us to have a great stay. Highly recommended and we would come back.

A beautiful bed and breakfast tucked in a nice quiet neighborhood against the backdrop of the red rock formations. The house was so beautiful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and gourmet. It was my birthday and they even made me a special cake with a candle !! A 10 in my book!! We will return often.

Both gave us great history and tips where to go and what to see. The views are absolutely incredible of Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte. Sunrise views are gorgeous from the balcony. Although I arrived quite late, the hotel warmly welcomed me, making me feel exceptionally comfortable and at ease. In the morning, I was greeted by the sight of red rocks, lush greenery, and hummingbirds fluttering about, all accompanied by the gentle sound of flowing water. The red buildings and European-style floor-to-ceiling windows harmonized beautifully with the scenery. Whether it’s the exquisite decor or the cozy plant arrangements, everything is just right, creating a serene and elegant atmosphere. The breakfast service is also outstanding, offering great value with delicious and high-quality options. My stay was nothing short of perfect.

As someone familiar with the area, as I lived in VOC, the location is spectacular and the views are simply breathtaking. The location, so close to many of the epic trails is also a plus. We will be returning, that is without question!

• William (10/5): I’d highly recommend to all! - The Penrose B&B was a perfect, quiet, warm and inviting place to stay away from the busy commercial hotel/motel center of Sedona. Located in a neighborhood not far from the Bell rock trailhead, it was wonderful to come “home” to this place after an all-day hike! Not to mention the complimentary “snacks and beverages” and gourmet breakfast every morning. If you’re looking for a quaint B&B in the traditional sense of “warm hospitality”, this is it! I stayed in the Kokopelli room.

In addition to private balconies, the Penrose has a spacious deck to eat on and a comfortable patio space for lounging. Rooms are quiet the commons areas are elegant. Nothing.
• Jennifer (7/5): Our stay was pleasant and we did enjoy ourselves, but overpriced for this home. - The breakfasts were outstaning as well as the staff. Very friendly and nice people all the way around! We felt that the home needed some TLC. Many features in our room either were not working, needed new batteries or were just old and tired. The pillows were not comfortable and the walls are thin (hearing other guests in the middle of the night - using bathroom and watching TV). The layout of the furniture did work well. Bulky furniture and too much of it making it hard to move about.

Fantastic in every way. - Breakfast was delicious, creative, and served in a beautifully furnished dining room overlooking the red rocks of Sedona. The staff were efficient, friendly,, and were informative about the surrounding countryside. The location was breathtaking. In fact we drove the Sedona scenic loop and concluded the scene from the Penrose terrace was better. Everywhere in the house has huge windows overlooking the view. nothing could be improved, it was an amazing stay.

The room has a sensor night light. Every time when you turn your body in bed, it would come up. If you are sensitive to light during you sleep, it may be a minor problem. We would certainly be very happy to come back to stay again.
