Pudimos cenar en los otros restaurantes y tuvimos la suerte que no estaban muy llenos. Lo que podría mejorarse es el mantenimiento de las habitaciones pues en la nuestra la 2013 tenía un toma sobre la mesa de noche que no se podía utilizar y otro en el televisor que estaba quebrado pero si se podía usar a pesar que estaba malo. Se tardaron casi 40 minutos en darnos la habitación y cuando subimos el piso aún estaba húmedo.

Słaba obsługa kelnerska w barach i w restauracjach, w łazience brak wyboru kosmetyków ( brak odżywki do włosów, balsamu do ciała i jakichkolwiek akcesoriów), brak miejsc w hotelu i na plaży do pozostawienia brudnych szklanek i naczyń, zbieranie brudnych naczyń przy basenach do plastikowych wiader(!), miejsce dla palaczy zlokalizowane na głównym przejściu do plaży, pokój skromnie urządzony, brak klimatyzacji w windach. Hotel nie utrzymuje standardu pięciogwiazdkowego resortu. Jak na hotel kilkunastoletni, wiele rzeczy poniszczonych (w pokoju odpadające oparcie od kanapy, krzywo wiszące obrazy, rozpadające się szuflady). Łóżka za wąskie. Brak systemu rezerwacji w restauracjach tematycznych. Wszechobecne straszące kartki o karach finansowych za zgubienie klucza, ręcznika lub nieterminowy check out- złe pierwsze wrażenie. Brudne leżaki na plaży.

- Eunice (8/5): Lovely hotel but spoilt by silly rules and lukewarm food in buffet restaurants - Good Location. Decent size room and nice bathroom. Speciality restaurants were excellent. Lovely main pool for an early morning swim. The hotel and grounds were kept pristine by the staff. Drinks were good as you could get premium brands. Food was available constantly. When we were checking in, it was like you were going to prison with all the rules. We were told NOT to loose the towel cards or we would be charged $20 each, likewise with the room card which would be $5. We were also told if we wanted to use the speciality restaurants we had to queue up 45 minutes before they opened to get a table. I asked about later sittings and was told still go at that time. For this reason we used the buffet restaurant the first night and the hot food was lukewarm. The soup and cold food was very good. The next 3 nights we went to the Steak and Italian restaurants between 7 and 7:30 and got a table each time. On checking out at 12, the band was cut off our wrists and we were given a piece of paper to allow us to use the buffet restaurant between 12 and 1 but it didn’t open until 12:30 which was very cheeky. We weren’t told we had to show this paper to get out the barrier. Luckily I didn’t throw it away. Most hotels let you use the facilities until you leave.

- Iohan (9/5): - Tivemos uma experiência fantástica no Riu Playa Blanca. A equipe do hotel é excepcional: são extremamente educados e atenciosos, sempre fazendo questão de nos cumprimentar com um sorriso e um "bom dia", "boa tarde" ou "boa noite". Sobre a gastronomia, fiquei sem palavras. Tanto o café da manhã quanto as demais refeições do hotel são maravilhosos. Toda a equipe da cozinha está de parabéns pelo trabalho! Há diversas opções para todos os gostos, com pratos muito bem preparados e com uma apresentação belíssima. A limpeza foi outro ponto que nos impressionou bastante. Os quartos e todas as áreas comuns do hotel são muito bem limpos e mantidos. Mesmo com cerca de 1.000 pessoas usando as instalações do resort, não vimos nenhum resquício de sujeira em momento algum. Por fim, a área de lazer merece um elogio à parte. O hotel conta com ótimas piscinas, bares excelentes e a praia em frente é super calma e relaxante. Recomendo fortemente a estadia! numa noite eu recebi a ligação da recepção informando que estavam reclamando de barulho no meu quarto, isso as 2h00 da madrugada, eu já estava dormindo e o barulho não vinha do meu quarto. Acordei preocupado e estressado por causa disso.

- Arlen (8/5): Remote All Inclusive Resort - There’s not much to do outside the area so we appreciated the nightly entertainment. There is a nice massage place next to one of the pools that feels private but you can still feel the ocean breeze. The buffet was the best of any all inclusive I’ve stayed at but you must choose wisely (the fish tasted fishy and grilled meats were tough.) There is an ample number of lounge chairs by the 4 pools and on the bech. I liked that there was a fun pool with slides and water features just for kids, plus an adults only pool. The reception desk was always well staffed and, with one exception, staff were eager to please. The rooms are clean and quiet. I was asked twice to take a satisfaction survey so it is clear that management is truly interested in client satisfaction. Wait staff were attentive. Great location with ocean swimming rated with the fog system and the green-yellow-red flag system. Jet skis, surf and paddle boards were available. Mini-bar in the rooms were well stocked and replenished. Gym has sufficient equipment. Too many adults were overserved at the pool bar. On 2 separate occasions we had to vacate the pool because someone vomited in it. The reservation system among the 3 on site restaurants was inconsistent and seemed to favor the restaurant’s needs over the guests. Twice I received dirty pool towels that were folded and supposedly laundered. The gym was too hot and the temperature should have been lower than adjacent areas.

La falta de mozos en los bares y la calidad de las bebidas, no saben hacer ni una piña colada. La playa fea, peligrosa y la arena sucia, es falta de limpieza del hotel.

- Kluk (8/5): - Klasický resort pro odpočinkovou dovolenou. Jídlo naprosto v pořádku, kladně hodnotím možnost 24 hodinového sport baru, kde jste se mohli i najíst. Pláž obstojná, lehátek byl všude dostatek, i u bazénů. U barů se netvořily fronty, personál stíhal. V okolí není v podstatě nic zajímavého, ale to jsme věděli předem.

- DemButlers (6/5): Overall a great trip and good location out of the city of Panama - We had an AMAZING stay at RIU Playa Blanca this past February celebrating my husband’s 55th birthday with a group of 12—and it did not disappoint! The drive from Panama City (about 1.5 hours) was perfect for us. By the time we finished chatting and relaxing, we were already pulling up to the resort. The entrance alone sets the tone—very grand, beautifully landscaped, and clearly designed with attention to detail. Check-in was quick, smooth, and very organized. We booked through a third party, but because we also checked in ahead of time using the RIU app, everything (documents and payment method) was already set—super seamless experience. Food options were just right for our 4-day stay. With 4 restaurants available, we had plenty of variety. I can see how a longer stay might feel a bit repetitive, but for us, it worked perfectly. Breakfast had a great assortment, and the lunch at the adults-only pool was consistently delicious—and always beautifully presented. The activities team did a fantastic job keeping things lively at the family pool. If you enjoy being active and entertained, there’s no shortage of things to do. Nightlife was also fun! We didn’t go into the club due to flashing lights (my husband can’t be exposed to that), but from what we could tell, the DJ played a great mix of music. One of the BEST parts of our trip? The people. Everyone was incredibly friendly—we especially connected with a group from Canada, and by the end of the trip, we were like family. We even hosted our own goodbye dance party one night, vibing to 80s and 90s music—such a fun, unforgettable moment! If I had to give any feedback, it would be the rooms. While they were clean, they are definitely dated. Some dresser handles were broken, and overall, the rooms could use a refresh. When you compare RIU Playa Blanca to the RIU in Panama City, it’s like night and day. If Playa Blanca updated their rooms to match that level, this resort would be booked nonstop. Pro tip: The sand gets VERY hot, so bring beach shoes! That said, I personally loved the black volcanic ash sand—it literally sparkled like black diamonds. Absolutely beautiful. Overall, this was a fantastic group getaway and birthday celebration. Great vibes, great people, and great memories. We would definitely return!

We had a great (large) family room with extra bedroom. Seemed lots of deck chairs. Good espresso coffee in the sports bar. Enough pool real estate that you could choose your vibe. Food was fairly good - a little tough for vegetarians but staff did try to help in That regard.

- Justine (9/5): Resort agréable pour un début de déconnexion au Panama :) - Nous avons passé un très bon séjour :) L'hôtel est spacieux avec des ambiances différentes selon les piscines. Les animations étaient présentes, juste ce qu’il fallait. Il y avait de la place à la plage pour des fins d'après-midi reposantes et la nourriture proposée est bonne et variée, il y en a pour tous les goûts ! Les femmes de ménage passaient régulièrement au cours de la journée pour garder les lieux propres ce qui est très appréciable. Très bon rapport qualité prix pour un All Inclusive ! Je recommande Il faut arriver tôt, entre 18h et 19h pour bénéficier d'une place dans les restaurants à la carte, ce qui est quand même très tôt quand on est en vacances. L'hôtel est assez loin de Panama City, là où partent les principales excursions mais c'était agréable de découvrir cette partie de l'île !

- Robin (3/5): - Liked the palm trees instead of umbrellas on the beach Was very disappointed in the stay. The food was sub-par at the buffet, a decent selection for breakfast and dinner so was able to find something half decent. One night we ate at the steakhouse, which was probably some of the worst food I’ve had. The steak was worse than eating at a diner, was well-done (despite asking for medium rare), and the side dish was half a baked potato. The mini bar in our room was not examined and replenished, and we ran out of bottled water. I am pregnant and don’t drink alcohol, so it was sad that I didn’t even have unlimited access to non-alcoholic beverages. I tried to hunt down a water bottle, but staff said I could only get one by calling the front desk and asking for them to bring to my room. Speaking of the room, the sheets were all stained, the shower was very outdated, there was hair in my bed and on the vanity when I arrived. The AC was not able to be controlled, and I was up sweating all night because I couldn’t turn it down. Additionally, the hotel didn’t even provide conditioner. I was expecting that I would at least have that, considering we paid a fair amount for the room. The facility was ok, but they made you “check out” towels with a card, and you’d have to pay a fee if you didn’t get those cards back. Makes it feel like you’re in kindergarten. It’s very inconvenient to have to walk to one side of the property to get and return a towel, and make sure you return the towel before they close the towel shack at night. The wifi was a pain to connect too and was glitchy and didn’t work throughout the hotel, which made taking calls for work very hard. We were very excited to stay and enjoy some days to ourselves as this was our babymoon, but am extremely disappointed and feel like I wasted my money. I would not recommend this hotel to friends or family.

- Ale Westermeyer (10/5): - El bar losbtragos y la atención de los barman y barwoman lo mejor :) tqmbién la comida del restaurante buffet y el de smacks muy buenos, las piscinas también buen tamaño las 3. Las distancias también nada muy lejos, cómodas y caminables :) Cambiaría las almohadas de las camas ninguna era buena y eran muy pequeñas, sólo eso. Y mejoraría sistema de reposeras en piscina no permitiría reservar por más de 2 horas eso :) Lo demás muy bueno.

- LUIS (7/5): O cliente não é a prioridade, não se importam com as pessoas, não tem empatia nem respeito.Não volto - O ponto alto é a parte de restaurantes e bar. Comida de alto nível, drinks também. Quartos e banheiros amplos, confortáveis, sem luxo, mas adequados para um hotel de praia. Limpeza ok. Piscinas ótimas. Bons shows e entretenimento, principalmente a noite que teve um DJ na praia. Da falta de empatia e consideração para com os clientes, principalmente por parte da gerencia.Houve algum problema no sistema do booking, reservamos 3 quartos, sendo um para 1 pessoa e 2 para 2 pessoas.Os valores apareciam corretos, com a diferença esperada, mas aparecia na reserva 1 guest por quarto.Chegando no local a recepção não quis fazer o check in porque a reserva estava para 3 pessoas e nós éramos 5, mesmo vendo os valores diferentes. Que havia sido um erro do booking, que nós entrássemos em contato com booking. Tentamos via email, app, mas sem resposta. Após algum tempo pedimos para que os funcionários do hotel o fizessem e aí rapidamente conseguiram. No contato telefonico a pessoa entendeu o caso e disse que estava enviando um email autorizando a mudança. Acontece que esse email vai para a central mundial da rede RIU e não para o do Panamá, e a central de reservas de uma rede internacional, que se espera grande e eficiente e que trabalhasse 7 dias/semana, 24 hs/dia. só funcionava até as 17 hs, era em Punta Cana? já passava desse horário e só voltaria no dia seguinte às 9 am !Sim, uma rede mundial que não trabalha 7 dia/semana, 24 hs/dia !E aí os funcionários não podiam, ou não tinham coragem de fazer a alteração e aguardar até o dia seguinte para confirmar e não nos deixavam entrar. Detalhe, no nosso grupo uma senhora de 74 anos e um senhor de 94 anos!Nada, que não tinham como mudar ou teríamos que pagar a inclusão de mais 2 pessoas na reserva. Nos recusamos, já que o erro não foi nosso. Aí surgiu a idéia de cancelarmos a reserva via booking e fazer direto com eles.Booking autorizou mas a nao cobrança da taxa de cancelamento dependia do hotel enviar um email para booking afirmando isso. Também não podiam. Aí veio outro gerente, espanhol, rude, que faria uma exceçao cobrando 3 noites num quarto extra para 2 pessoas, até resolver a questao e aí devolveriam. E ao questionar ameaçou rasgar o papel!

Una de las llave del lavamanos filtraba y dejaba mojado todo el mesón. 2. Por la ducha se salía toda el agua para afuera. 3. Había una gotera por el techo que venía del piso de más arriba.

- Kremer (2/5): Would not stay again - Beautiful setting. Very clean everywhere. Lots of staff always cleaning and working. The bed was comfortable. The shower had the best water pressure! I repeatedly got locked out of my room. They re-keyed my card several times. Then disabled the lock altogether. They sent someone right away when I notified them the door wouldn’t lock. They had to take the door apart and repair. The food was awful and upset my stomach. By the end of my stay I was only eating fruit and pizza. When I’d ask staff questions, they either didn’t speak English or misunderstood me. I asked where to get food one day at 2:00pm and one worker made a phone call. She said there is no food here, you can take a taxi to a restaurant 25 minutes away. What? I asked another person and he directed me to the steak restaurant, which was open. I ended up leaving a day and a half early. Also the hotel is 2-3 hours (depending on traffic) from the airport, which makes for a long travel day.
