• Steven (10/5): - Definitely what I would call..."Home away from Home". There not a hotel like this anywhere in the world.... Owner on site...employees are happiest to be working and serving your every need....the food is amazing and available to you all day and all night. Clean fresh water beyond what you can consume. Abundance...is a good word to describe the value
• Brett (8/5): - Very nice hotel, and staff were very kind. Only negative was hotel could use some upgrades, namely the bathrooms. Just average. The rooms didn’t have any drawers for clothes, so ended up using the extra bed as a storage drawer. Lots of free water and snacks, fruits, etc. morning breakfast was very nice, and dining/pool area was very therapeutic. You can walk to everywhere with lots of dining and shopping options. Thought it was a bit overpriced considering I stayed at a hotel in Old City for the first 5 nights, and it was nicer and $25 cheaper per night. Overall, comfy.

Good breakfast buffet, and the 24/7 available coffee and fresh fruits are great. The two chilled and adorable hotel cats (they are super friendly but do not bother people) made me feel even more at home. :)

• Bodie (10/5): - A great location to stay away from the crazy packed old town. Super walkable! Yummy breakfast, coffee, drinks, and of course water. Airplane noise was a bit loud, but I slept with headphones so it wasn’t a huge deal.
• Vatchara (10/5): - BED Nimman is a great little hotel. The breakfast here really is the highlight. Everyday they make something different and it's all healthy and delicious, you will never get bored even if you stay many days of the breakfast variety here. The room is simple but very nice, there's a 55inch TV where you can log in to your Netflix or YouTube account. Location is very convenient. My only grouse here is that because it is quite close to the airport you can hear the noise of the plane in the room. I was told that this is a problem on one side of the hotel but not the other. So make sure you get the room on the quiet side.

The staff are of enthusiastic and energetic young people. They prepare daily breakfast, snacks and fruits throughout the day for guests to enjoy. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Bed Nimman Hotel very much.

• michael (10/5): - The morning breakfast was really good. Pro tip: Don't go to breakfast at 7:00 when it first opens. Wait maybe 40-60 minutes. That way the hot food like chicken wings will have time to heat up. It's in a great area, convenient to many shops and stuff. And Maya mall is maybe 20 minute walk or a short taxi ride.
• Magaret (6/5): Practical Hotel - Room was on 2nd floor in front of the pool. Beautiful pool BUT NOISY when people are swimming and couldn’t take a nap in the afternoon. Walls are thin and can hear service counters keeping plates and utensils. Practical hotel if you’re out most of the time.

• Sarah (10/5): - The BED Nimman is a complete gem. The owner, Jerome (apologies if I have your name wrong) and his team are faultless. Nothing is too much trouble, you only need to stand looking puzzled about something for a second when a friendly face is by your side helping. There was a super Russian young man (apologies can't remember your name) who was particularly helpful and enthusiatic. From the first moment of check in to sadly leaving, the staff made our stay comfortable and easy. The breakfast was stunning, such a huge range of delicious food which was prepared and cooked on site. A range of soft drinks, ice creams and snacks were also available free throughout the day. The rooms were spotless and beds comfortable. The showers were particularly impressive, the water pressure made showering a treat. The only 2recommendations I would suggest would be somewhere to put your clothes. Whilst there is a small hanging space, a chest of drawers would be a welcome assett. The second would be a kettle in the room, the coffee machine downstairs makes an excellent selection of coffees but this means getting dressed and trekking downstairs, sometimes us Brits like a cup of tea in the morning and often bring our own teabags though admittedly these are first world problems. The onsite pool is refreshing but I understand this is only an issue in their winter months and plans are afoot to recycle some hot water which is great. The hotel obviously takes sustainability as a high priority which is admirable

Also loved the free cold bottled water (on every floor) and fresh fruit available all day! Would definitely stay here the next time I'm in Chiang Mai!

The pool is also really nice but does not get much sun for those of us who like to sunbathe. The free water, soft drinks teas and coffees were great and the breakfast was excellent.

• Gene (10/5): BED a second time! - Service is outstanding. Second time we've chosen BED (the last time also in Chiangmai but in Phra Singh). Facilities are minimalist and functional, but classy. Breakfast spread is good and water and snacks are always there. Check in and check out are a breeze. Place is secure, though the in-room safe is a not-very-secure side table... Area in Nimman is quite central, but the hotel is just far in enough to be quite.

• Denise (10/5): - I was so impressed the first time I stayed at BED Nimman a couple of years ago that it was easy to choose it for this recent trip. Everything about the property - cleanliness, comfort, amenities - is excellent. The breakfast buffet is mind-boggling and delicious offering fresh fruits, local dishes, as well as a variety of foods from different cuisines. And the staff are doubly excellent. They are so friendly, helpful in every way imaginable as nothing seems to be impossible. It makes you feel as if you are staying with your best friends. On this trip I had the misfortune to break my leg and the hotel not only provided transportation to the local hospital but also sent along a staff-member who was an excellent translator, and even arranged a wheelchair for me to get around. Then they found a wonderful driver who spoke good English and had a vehicle suitable for a wheelchair passenger so my vacation was not completely ruined by my accident.
• Echkent (10/5): - In trendy and lively Nimman, so plenty of restaurants and nice shops nearby, this hotel really cannot be faulted. The rooms and decor is very modern and everywhere is spotless. The breakfast is great with lots of variety everyday, and very good bread, which I think makes a big difference, and is easy to do well! The staff were really attentive and friendly. The free water, coffee,tea and fruit and often cake was great, and much appreciated. The only slight negative was a lack of storage for our clothes, just a simple hanging rail, meant that we kept most of our clothes in our cases. This would not be an issue for most people staying only a day or two.

On arrival we were checked in very swiftly and the room was lovely, we soon found out from the very informative staff that there were plenty of shops & bars within the area. The hotel staff are all young but can’t do enough for you & a real credit to the hotel, they helped us book an elephant safari & also gave us great advice on what we should be looking to pay when we went independently to the temple in the mountains. Whilst we we’re there my husband downloaded the grabcar app which again the hotel suggested & this worked really well. We would definitely stay at this hotel again & cannot thank all the staff for their help, keep up the good work

• lewis (10/5): quality staff, speak good english, nice hotel - My family of 7 persons stayed for 4 nights. This hotel is 5 minutes walk from nimman road. A lot of good restaurant and bar over there. There are always taxi and rodduang outside to wait for customer. The breakfast is simple but delicious, we love the salad and different kind of fruit. three of my family member over 80 years old, they enjoy to stay in hotel with a lot of free fruit, biscuit, coffee and tea. i like jogging in the morning, it is only 2km jog from hotel to chiangmai university.

• Idan (10/5): Highly recommended - We were pleasantly surprised by Bed Nimman and really enjoyed our stay here for 4 days and 3 nights. All of the staff were friendly and always wanted to help. The room has a comfy bed and good shower (which are VERY important when you're travelling). We really enjoyed the breakfast options as well as the complimentary water and fruit throughout the day. We loved the pool area and although the hotel isn't centrally located, this is what sold the hotel to us and we weren't disappointed. We also visited BED Phrasingh when we were in the old city and even though it's in a good location, the pool was completely shaded with no sun loungers. If you don't mind staying outside the old city, we would highly recommend you stay here!

There are plenty of nice cafes nearby so you can have a good time. However, the airplane noise is a little loud and the soundproofing of the hotel room is not good. Apart from that, it is the best place to have a pleasant vacation.

The atmosphere was welcoming, the front desk staff friendly and knowledgeable about things we were interested in. I’ve never experienced a breakfast that comes with the reservation so complete and yummy with a mixture of Thai and Western foods. There are bottles of water in the lobby and on all the floors for the taking at any time. I would definitely stay there again.

Lived in Oregon for a bit and his Dad is British. So he’s half Thai and British... “HIM” haha.

I especially like the sticky rice dishes :) They even have snacks for you throughout the day in the lobby/breakfast area. Rooms are equipped with everything you need. Pool area is relaxing. The location is nice, as there are nice restaurants and massages walking distance. Overall, its a great place to stay for the price. I have no complaints at all!

• Youngster (10/5): Value, Service, Location! - Brilliant concept in a great location. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Staff are unfailingly helpful and most speak good English. Linens are good quality. Bottled water, drinks, coffee, and fruit available all day. Location is brilliant, with dozens of funky cafes, coffee shops, galleries, and boutiques within 5 min walk. Have recommended to friends and family as the place to stay in Chiang Mai.
• Cherayn (10/5): BryantsNZ-Family - Fantastic hotel in Ninman area easy access to restaurants,cafes,dental work at Grace Dental soi 11,rooms were great for us with 2 teenage children in one room and us in the other. The service,pool,free supply on water,coffee,tea etc was outstanding.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great branding, great feel. Ample free water. - I arrived before check-in as I set the hotel as the pick-up location for a day drip (Flight of the Gibbon zip-lining) and the staff excitedly took our bags, encouraged us to partake in breakfast and-- as we were leaving for our day trip- the desk worker ran after us with 3 bottles of water, exclaiming "take these! Thailand is hot!" The hotel itself is small but has a very modern, polished feel. The private and public areas were impeccably clean, and the staff was incredibly nice (see above). The only critique I can think of is that the Hotel is not the most centrally located; I had thought walking to the old-town wouldn't be too hard, but it did prove challenging and we relied on Uber / tuk-tuks / taxis. Given the affordability of Thailand / Chaing-Mai in general and what you get for your money at this hotel, this critique on location is rather small indeed.
• Petr (10/5): Great hotel and service - We stayed at BED Nimman for 5 nights in July, 2017. We enjoyed our stay very much, all the members of the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We liked the breakfast with a good choice of both local Thai and western-style food. The refrigerators with free bottles of drinking water located both on each of the floors and by the reception were also very convenient as we didn't have to bother buying drinking water. The pool area was also nice and well-maintained. The room had a nice, modern and stylish design, the was bed comfortable. The area around the hotel is filled with different dining options, but practically everything was already closing around after 11 pm. Would definitely recommend BED Nimman to anyone, who comes to Chiangmai and wants a good value for their money.
• Ben (8/5): Nice hotel with good service and amenities - Room was clean and comfortable and amenities were good, with complimentary water, drinks and coffee. Especially appreciated the friendly staff who were prompt in helping to book tours or rendering assistance. Just a minor issue: There was a particular musky smell in my room which was odd considering the room was clean and ventilated. The card key/card reader also wasn't working properly, but the staff were quick to switch my room when needed.
• Peter (10/5): A return visit - My second visit and I'm sure it won't be my last. Very friendly, a pool, a good communal breakfast and a free minibar - what more could you want!
• Verified traveler (10/5): Modern and sleek - Only there for a short overnight. Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful. Great to be able to sit by the pool on our first day in Thailand. Breakfast was included, had quite a bit of variety to choose from. Room clean and had amenities needed.
• Mark (6/5): Bit too Boutique with less of everything. - Beware of reviews in Chiang Mai. There seems to be a lot of self interest and competitors knocking. Hotel is just OK. Rooms extremely small by Thailand hotel standards. Breakfast is very limited. No free ice cream...myth. Staff are great.
• Ron (10/5): Minimalism Done Right! - BED Nimman is where you should stay! Although there is no room service, the breakfast buffet is unmatched, there is endless fruit and water provided all day, and the minibar is with compliments. The rooms were impeccably cleaned daily. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The hotel is safe and in a great neighborhood.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel at its price level - The hotel is in a mainly backpacker area and has a little bit of that feel to it. Staff very friendly and helpful, quite trendy feel and yet the design/build quality of the hotel was not quite to the level I expected from the other reviews. Rooms are clean and well serviced by housekeeping. Shower good. Washbasin outside of bathroom - a design feature that personally I don't love. The location is good for restaurants but a bit away from the main historical area. Pool is small. Lots of mosquitos seem to get to the corridors outside the bedrooms and then sometimes into your room. Maybe the hotel can try to do something about that. Overall this is a pretty good hotel for its price point with friendly and helpful staff and I would recommend it. If you're looking for a romantic hotel for a couple then you may want to pay a bit more and find something a little more upmarket.

• Wishing (10/5): BED Nimman - Highly recommended! - We had a wonderful time spent in Chiangmai and especially in your hotel! Clean , modern and tastefully designed. Loved the fridges (even on every floor) for free flow of cold bottled water and fresh fruit all day. Rooms were clean and comfortable with all basic amenities provided. The lobby and pool area with all the surrounding greens was a welcome retreat after all our sightseeing. We could not be more thankful for all the cheerful and helpful staff whom were ever so ready, helped us patiently, gave wonderful recommendations and arranging all the transportation! They made all the difference.
• Jillian (10/5): Outstanding hotel in Nimman - I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! It may be slightly more expensive than other similar hotels in the Nimman area but the value makes it totally worthwhile. The concept of basic simplicity in design and services works exceptionally well with all you need in the rooms and the best bed and bedding I have experienced in Chiang Mai (having stayed in many hotels there). A bonus feature of free flow water bottles, breakfast and all day beautifully cut fruit, tea, coffee and cookies made it a most pleasurable experience. The facilities, being brand new all work perfectly and the staff are professional but casual, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is outstanding - fresh, plentiful, fantastic variety, beautifully presented and tasty. The swimming pool is a welcome respite from the Chiang Mai heat and for me the balconies off the bedrooms and essential addition for a perfect stay.
