- carante (10/5): - Increíble ubicación
- Olivas (10/5): -
O Box do banheiro.
- Flavia Ruth (7/5): Buena relacion precio/hospedaje. Bueno para estancias cortas. - Desayuno y atencion.
- Elisabet (8/5): -
- NANCY (10/5): Todo perfecto y recomendable.
Check out a las 10am
- Andre Pedro (6/5): -
- Marta (8/5): -
- gianmarco (9/5): -
- Francis (8/5): -
- Einav (9/5): Good value for money - cute place, location close to everything, the room is cleaned every day, there is a nice breakfast, the staff is very helpful, we had a problem with the hot water and they immediately called a professional to fix it. Very nice place Nobody speaks English.
- Eugénie (8/5): - Kind personal Only stairs… a bit exercise to carry suitcases to the room
Estou avaliando o Plaza Bariloche
- silvia Hebe (10/5): - Muy cómodo y muy buena ubicación
- Francesca (5/5): … - The staff were very friendly and supportive, especially the reception. It was located near the lake in the centre of San Carlos de B. Unfortunately, it was very noisy. Although I moved to the quitest floor, even there the entrance door was noisy. The breakfast was - in comparison to -“” 25 hotels I stayed at in South America - not good at all. And in comparison, I paid the highest price here.
- Kiara guerrero (10/5): -
- Adriana (9/5): -
- Eduardo (10/5): -
- Ira (10/5): Would recommend - Our family of 5 had 2 private rooms. Nice to have private bathrooms as well. Pleasant staff. Nice breakfast.
- Romina (4/5): -
- Nikki (8/5): Decent - Great view, nice staff, good location, clean. Four flights of stairs :( Couldn't avail ourselves of coffee or breakfast as had to leave before 6 AM.
- India (7/5): Good - We booked this hotel , but the day after booking were informed due to renovations we could not stay in Tierra Gaucha and instead would be moved to Plaza Hotel Bariloche. I found this a bit odd as surely the hotel knew this when I placed the booking.
I had specifically booked Tierra Gaucha due to its proximity to the bus station as we had an early bus the next day, and the hotel we were moved to was further away.
The facilities were basic, the window could be opened from the outside which felt a bit unsafe the radiator was on full but we could not turn it down due to the latch being broken, the shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold, and there was no parking. Despite this it was good value for the price we paid and the staff were helpful.
- Koo (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dana (8/5): Very good - Nuce staff, nice breakfast and clean rooms No elevator
- Lucia (9/5): Superb -
- Maximiliano (8/5): Very good - Stairs, there is no elevator
- Rosana (7/5): Lovely staff, good breakfast, very basic rooms and dated bathrooms. - The staff is probably the best asset in this hotel. In particular the lovely lady at the reception during the day.
The ground floor looks nice and the breakfast is good too. Our first night we were on the third floor, there isn’t a lift, which is something you should know.
We stayed two nights, but not consecutive, as we had an excursion booked that required overnight stay. In our second night fortunately we were in a room on the first floor.
I think calling it ‘boutique hotel’ is misleading. The rooms are very basic and dated, the bathrooms are even more dated.
It seemed to us that the put effort in doing up the ground floor, but the rest of the hotel doesn’t follow the same effort.
- Troy (8/5): Very good -
- Silvia (6/5): Friendly staff, but not worth the price. - The location is ok. The staff is very nice and friendly. The accommodation is very simple and small. The price changes every day. Very expensive! No breakfast included.
- Andrew (1/5): Scam - Nothing to say as we never had the chance to stay. Before our booking we had a flight cancellation which pushed our travel plans back one day. We advised the hotel this, and they were happy to continue our booking until we arrived (we would still pay for the night we didn't stay there).
The day we were due to check in, we received a message from the hotel advising that our booking has been cancelled by Booking.com, however the booking was still showing as confirmed in my app. We advised the hotel we will work it out when we arrive to which they agreed.
We arrived at the hotel to a sign advising us to walk to a different hotel to stay, despite us never receiving any pre warning that our hotel would be closed.
When we arrived at the new hotel, they advised us they can rebook us, for the amazing price of three times our original booking, because 'it's a different hotel'. They showed me their booking screen where my booking was shown as 'no show', despite us contacting them about the delay. They cancelled our booking, not Booking.com.
This place is a scam. Previous reviews advise they advertise this hotel and send guests to a different one with different rooms as per photos. The staff member essentially confirmed this with us, and could give no valid reason as to why we weren't informed earlier.
Would strongly advise avoiding this hotel.
- Sarah (8/5): Good value, good breakfast and lovely staff - Good breakfast The first room we were in did not have a window and was next to the boiler room, we were able to move after 1 night and the second room was great.
- Maria (8/5): Very good -
- Anja (8/5): Very good - The hostel is situated neat the beach and very close to the city center.
The helpful staff
The breakfest was good
Free Café during the day The noise from the street and from the car repair shop across the street, only one room of the hotel had lake view.
- Matthias (5/5): Passable - Good location (walking distance to heart of town but quiet); friendly staff Everything very old/outdated; not very clean
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Good location, lovely staff, simple but good enough breakfast Only problem was not having a lift to get to the 3rd floor
- Alexandra (9/5): Superb -
- Alexandra (9/5): Superb -
- Andrea (9/5): Superb - Nice and warm rooms, kind staff, good location
- Yulia (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (8/5): Very good - Cheap, basic and comfortable accommodation close to restaurants and only a 15 minute walk to downtown. A decent free breakfast was available each morning (just remember to book your slot the day before as space is limited in the dining area) and the kitchen is available to use during the rest of the day. The bathroom door didn't open properly as the toilet was right behind it which made it a little difficult to get into the bathroom.
- Vilma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luis (9/5): great experience with the staff!! also the breakfast was really good and organized - the staff is great! Zahira helped us with many tips and was very kind, she booked all of the taxis that we needed and always welcomed us with a big smile! also, the breakfast was really goog and there are media lunas to enjoy any time of the day! the bed was not very comfy and it was kind of sunken on one side.

There is a bit of work going on to improve the hostel so noisy at times but all good.showers hot beds comfy great location . Nothing
- Morgan (9/5): Great staff, comfy hostel in Bariloche - Zahira at the reception went out of her way to help us with useful information! The room was comfortable and clean, the shower was great, and the common areas were nice and clean. The hostel is in a convenient location walking distance to downtown.
- Joshua (8/5): Very good -
- Francisco (9/5): Nice hotel in the heart of Bariloche. Friendly staff ready to provide assistance. - It’s location and the attentive service of Malena, at the front desk.
- Timothe (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast is amazing, rooms are nice and clean, kitchen is great You need to pay 21% more because of the IVA if you want to pay cash. So the price on booking is not the right one if you pay cash
